The warm weather has returned! (This has been such an odd year weather wise.) Also so has the humidity. There was a few days in between the end of last week and the middle of this one that were perfect, temps in the 60's and low humidity of like 40% RH. Looks like a lot of rain in the next coming week so just glad the girls get to soak up all this sun! An increase in nutes should also help with growth, slow and steady wins the race. Almost to peak level of nutrients, probably next week.

She has a sweet smell very strong girl bud just keep swelling very frosty and no pest on her at all will start checking the buds soon to see were we are.

Not going to say I expected more as I did but I can also say wow they’re doing amazing and forming big ole buds! And the aromas are crazy coming from all of them! And I have NEWSSSSSS… so mystery revealed! On 2 big ones solo still forming! But bottom left is FASTBUDS purple punch and top left is FASTBUDS forbidden runtz and I’m so glad of it as I wanted them to be the fastbuds to get another finish or a better one on these and it seems I may not with the forbidden runtz but I will with the purple punch! My next run I will hold back as best as I can to do nothing but open them up and not defoliate or trim one set and visa versa on the others back to back to see the difference alongside each other! Be great too as I have more fastbuds to run and new Zamnesia to do on this so will be equal in timing! Plus I get to do some solos so will be a great grow!

The rainbow Saltz has a very unique set of leaves it doesn’t have the traditional looking leaves that 80% of plants have I think when this plant flowers it’s gonna wrap around the stem This week was smooth sailing I topped all the plants

6-23 Went from humidity dome to net pots. I used tap water and cal mag that I ph too low by accident, i thought I needed 5.5 but was at that for the day and top feeding, I may have put into net pots too early. I am making mistakes for sure but leanring and correcting them. I continued to try and dial in my VPD the next few days as well as temps and it took about two days. Now my temps and VPD are constant at around 1. Made some mistakes with the not calculating my ph pen and struggled with that the next two days from like 5.5-6.4 swings. 6-26 RO system came in and got it installed. Started to notice yellowing on the tips of my babies and decided I was going to flush everything and add my first dose of nutrients with the new clean water. 6-27 System flushed, nutes added, ppm 500 and ph 5.8, water temp 69, temp in tent is 79, humidity is around 67 % and are dialed in almost perfectly, its annoying dealing with this vivosun humidifier. I dont recommend, it doesnt work with inkbird, it shuts off randomly, its humidistat is highly inaccurate, but I have found a setting to make it work with another humidifier I have in the tent until my ac inifinity one arrives that I should be able to hook it up and be completely good. Ive been adjusting everything for night time right as the lights go off so i can keep my vpd around 1 at night as well, then wake up in the morning at 7am and refill my humidifiers and adjust my settings for day time. Its been working great for getting that dialed in. 6-28 Things have been going great since flushing the system and feel like they are improving and starting to grow a bit faster now! Adjusted my Ph from 6.2 back down to 5.8 and everything seems to be going a little better, at least i feel a bit better about it all. 6-29 Things have been going smoother, they seem to be loving the the nutrients and had a bit of growth quickly! PH was at 6, I'm letting it rise to at least 6.2 before I adjust it back down. Temp and humidity have been great, no issues maintaining that as of now, the little system and settings I have are working nicely. The AC infinity controller is awesome but takes a bit to figure out the right settings for where I wanted it, but going well now. 6-30 No issues, things going well. Temp and humidity in control at 78 and 65sih. Water temp 69, ppm 520, and ph 5.8. I have not had to adjust the ph the last two days, its stays between 5.8 and 6.0 typically. They seem to be doing really well to me and growing fast, but this is my first grow so not sure, but I feel decent about it.

Green Cure CBD is growing great for a solo cup. She appears to be starting to bulk. She has a nice layer of frosty forming on her full of cbd goodness. Everything is looking great. She is very hungry, and thirsty with the limited root space. I removed some lower bits, but not much. Nothing else to report at the moment. Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update. I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard. The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture. Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her. I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve. Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done. The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast. Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4. I will endeavour to update the pages for the two Wedding Cheesecakes as soon as time allows. Last week of Veg, First time growing autos seems to be going good!

Week5 The week is over and all looks fine. Both ladies are preparing to bloom and are growing. Orange Sherbet is now 28 cm tall. Bruce Banner has caught up a lot this week and is at 25 cm. For 1 liter of water there was 0.5 ml of silicate;; 0.5 ml of Calmag;; 2 ml of BioNova BN-Zym, 2 ml of BioNova TheMissingLink;; 2 ml of BioNova Auto complete fertilizer and 1 ml of 100% organic algae juice. Ph 6.0-6.3 23°C

First day of week 10! She’s doing better and forming some nice icy buds, still very small especially compared to the others. Hoping those flowers will get a bit bigger 🙏🏻 Still dont really know what’s wrong with her, starting to think she’s just a weirdo!

Flowering starts

Start of week 6! Week 5 went well, the girls are all very sticky and smell incredible! The super lemon haze continues to need extra feeding, she's a hungry lady! Both blueberry plants are packing on a lot of weight as the branches are bending and twisting, I tried them up to give them extra support.

I'm very happy with how these came out. They finished right in the breeders estimated flowering time and they smell great. The back plant came out smaller, as expected, due to the watering issues I had, but it still came out very nice. Update 6/20: Just finished trimming the plants and they are now going into a curing bucket. Total dry weight is 210g and the bud smells really nice!
