Hey growmies! ✌️ Time for another update on the Frosty Tooth growing in the Minigrow One. We’re currently at day 19 since switching to the bloom phase, and the first signs of bud development are starting to show. The buds are still small, but it’s a promising start! The plant is staying incredibly compact, but the leaves are growing in abundance. To give her some breathing space, I had to do two rounds of heavy defoliation. The difference is already noticeable—she looks much tidier and healthier now. 🌱 I’m really curious to see how much she’ll stretch as the buds continue to develop. I’ve heard that the buds can grow so tall they almost touch the protective glass below the grow light without getting burned. Let’s put that to the test and see how far she can go! 😅

9/27 here we go week 6! I’ve been bending all my ladies under the screen as they grow. Today I potted up posh and baby. Baby is in a 3.5 gallon plastic pot. The other two are in 5 gallon fabric pots. I added fresh pro mix soil, perlite, worm castings, and half all Purpose and half flower of the Gaia nutrients. Mykos around roots and added some blood meal too I hope to help a little quicker with what I was thinking was nitrogen issues. But now I’m not sure! Seeing brown spots on the leaves in addition to the fade of color makes me think I’m missing something else. New growth looks relatively good though, but do notice some slightly lighter ends on some of the leaves. Will keep an eye on things and see how everyone bounces back over the next few days. Gave a good watering ph 6.8 good luck girls!

A couple of weeks to finish line. Lovely trichomes all around the buds. The smell reminds me this strain's parent, Super Lemon Haze. It's awesome! Really happy with this grow 😊

Day 57-63 My fungus problem again! Or is it? Please let me know if u guys know those signs of problems on ur leaves and if u could figure out what it is. Thats why i am all about neemoil! Whenever i use it, this sort of stuff never happens tbh. Neemoil for the win baby. This time i didnt use it :(

Hi guys, So this week im expecting rapid growth on all the plants, my plant still has orange spots i call it plant aids 🤣. There on 18/6 light cycle. I will be doing some lst on them to try and fill my grow space out abit. I been soaking them and turning lights down for 2 hours then turning light back up for a few hours then soaking again so on so on. My misses plant is doing better than mine thats for sure tho. I’ve got some curling going on. Have been trying to get temp humidity stable so I got a humidity controller and now run lights on timer 6 hrs off. Also my humidity gauge I used to set in the middle of the tent but I now put directly in the pot behind the plant and different readings. It’s one of those cheap humidity temp gauges that comes with led lights. Just need to get this curling thing down. 1 of the plants shows no curl so maybe it’s the fox farm soil is too hot. Or maybe that 1plant got better plant coverage, I’ve since adjusted the fan and may get another one.

This week is going pretty good too! the bugs seem to be swelling up a little more and getting a little more sugary. I added in a video of another one of my purple punch plants (the one with he purple nugs growing)

Welcome to my sponsored Runtz X Layer Cake from BarneysFarm. Was only in the ground 12hrs and she was up. As you'll see in the germination week she had a 1 - 1.5cm tap root and. I mixed 3g of powder for every 1L of light mix substrate. I filled the pot 3/4 full and wet with 300ml of bioenhancer, sprayed the rest that was going in on top, soil needs to be ready, (don't water after you put the substrate in, the seed can move, drown, the soil that was lightly packed in falls in on itself and you'll have collapse later on as she starts to grow. Don't compact the soil In yourself, the liquid should do it. Fill the rest of the 1/4 of the pot with your damp substrate and make a little mound, (pic above) make sure the tap root is facing down, (now some tap roots might curl up, don't try bending it down into the substrate, what you need to do is place it on an angle, / like that tap root on bottom and the root will take hold and the seed will push itself up, if you try force the tap root down you risk breaking the tap and seed might die. Trying to keep the RH as High as I can without compromising my late flowering plants in my big tent. The seedling tent is inside the big one on a negative seal. I have a damp towl in the small tent why you see a 10% dif in RH when my plants finish up next week I'll up the RH to 70+%. Seedling Day 3. She's doing great. Settling in well in her new digs. Hopefully soon we'll start seeing a lot of fungus, (mycelium), seeing some already so it's great. Just water and Bioenhancer every 2 weeks, so far, so good. Now that we are in optimal growing range for seedlings I'm expecting things to take off in the next 2 weeks. Seedling Day 7, she's moved quickly the last 2 days. Barneys strains are so strong and quick. You can tell they are hybrids. (Hybrids are when you have a mix between indica & sativa) and this girl is 50/50..

She is not gaining anymore... Guess she will ripen, bigger plant, but still not a bigger harvest... The sap eaters r still present, but only focus on this Diesel... And they are not explodin, I'm guessing it's near a good balance, with enough natural predators. Also, I pick random beetles from the street and release it in the tent, found a lady but once.... 15/09 she's ready!

Day 21 - she got repotted into her 38 Litre airpot. She is not as close to the lights as I'd like, but saying that I wouldn't mind her to stretch a little bit.

Everything going smoothly! Last bit of tea was Wednesday, was diluted a bit more. Nothing but water from here out. Still hoping I get a stronger smell.

Again another steady week, some additional nutrients given right after some defoliation and LST maintenance. The new PH And TDS meter seem to be helping a lot with give her what she needs! Thanks again for reading! Happy smoking and of course happy growing 😊✌️

Good morning, weekly update time! Today is day 41 of flower, the fade has started but the ladies are still bulking up and putting on weight! Prob start checking trichs in ten -14 days or so but like I said weight is stil increasing and white pistils are still dominant. Last week they got their last dose of recharge tea, I’ll probably give them fish shit one more week! I also gave them one last fruit compost tea I made with apple, cucumber, kiwi, and banana peels! Here on out there isn’t much to do and it’s getting boring for me, I liked working with them topping and training etc but now I just check on them once a day. From the early stages of vegetative vigor, through the lush canopy of mid-flower, and even through the challenges of heat and bud rot, these girls showed true resilience. Each setback taught something — about balance, airflow, humility, and the living rhythm of nature. Both plants were ultimately harvested with respect and gratitude. ⸻ ✂️ Harvest & Trimming After about two weeks of slow drying at 60°F / 60% RH, the branches began to snap — a sure sign the moisture was just right. Each plant was trimmed by hand, carefully and patiently, letting every calyx, pistil, and trichome tell its own story. The buds were dense, sticky, and heavily frosted — a trimmer’s delight. Finger hash collected along the way was pure gold, rich in aroma and bursting with terpenes. Each snip of the scissors felt like sculpting something sacred. Both plants were dried whole, allowing for slower moisture migration and a smoother final cure. ⸻ 🌿 On Trichomes and Harvest Timing We chose to harvest when most trichomes were cloudy, with only a few still clear and very few amber. This moment — just before full amber maturity — is where potency meets flavor at its peak. Why cloudy trichomes? Because that’s when cannabinoids like THC and terpenes are at their maximum activity. Too early, and you lose potency; too late, and THC starts converting into CBN, giving a heavier, sleepier effect. Cloudy trichomes deliver a balanced high — euphoric yet grounding — capturing the essence of the strain in its full potential. ⸻ 🌸 Aroma, Taste & Effects The Lava Cake lives up to her name and lineage. Week 9 / pictures at 63 days old. So everything has been pretty much the same as last week. No vertical growth but everything looking fatter and frostier! Still soaking up lots of water - 1.5litres every other day with 3ml of bloom nutrients in each. Removed a fair few leaves today - the unhealthy old ones from round the bottom and the ones getting in the way and touching the buds. Purple skunk buds still looking fatter than sticky orange. Sticky orange pistils started turning orange last week so I think she is going to be ready first but with a smaller yield. Purple skunk pistils have started turning orange today. Temperatures are higher this week and have reached 30 in the tent but spring is here so temps in general are higher outside. Was hoping it would stay lower as I really wanted the purple skunk buds to turn purple! They apparently prefer it cold before the purple comes out. But we’ll see what next week brings. I feel like we’re on the home stretch now. Each week gets more and more exciting and I just want them to get FAT! Again, pictures and videos just don’t do them justice - they look so much better in the flesh!

These girls are looking so amazing for the most part , on the other hand we got a lil bit of a deficiency on one of the Dirtyblondes, hopefully it’s not too much to worry about so probably gonna go ahead an start flush on the 2 Dirtyblondes and one of the pre98 s this weekend cause they are looking pretty close to being done, hopefully they should be fine!
