Method 📊📊📊 She trained incredibly well and recovered faster from topping than the NL did to a fim. This grow was a slightly different take on a traditional manifold leaving the top growth tips from each 2nd node (first topping) in place. This gave us 10 main colas as opposed to eight and we also left in a few extra shoots which proved to yield just that little bit extra.😉. If we had the space we would’ve stuck with 8 monster colas. Instead, we tried to squeeze usable bud out of every square inch. Maintenance was a bit of a bitch - had to defo numerous times to keep the light penetration optimal. Which brings us to the grow light - I won’t say it was ineffective cause that’s just not true. But, if this one had gotten much bigger we’d have seen some serious diminishing returns in bud quality. The tops and middles of each 10-12” cola were dense and chunky but the lower buds on the outer branches were like giant fluffy larf pillows. Thankfully there weren’t too many of these and I might’ve been able to solve this issue with some yo-yo’s if I wasn’t so damn lazy and “😜” when work’n on the garden. So, grow light review now that we’re through a few cycles - vipar spectra gets a 6/10 from me. It will grow solid, quality bud but certainly has its limitations. Their manual says it’s 450w should cover a space roughly twice the size of mine. I disagree and actual wattage draw is more like 200w. I’m gonna try to stick to photoperiod SCROGs with it in the future. Only real way to max out it’s effectiveness. Big plus - it’s about perfect for this particular space: 1:. Medium 🎛️🎛️🎛️🎛️ Coco is now the go-to medium in lieu of soil when we grow indoors. I can’t specifically say that the growth time is sped up compared to soil because I’m always growing something different but - she did recover very quickly from her toppings and the drainage is wayyyyy better. The fact that it’s nute neutral allows us to dictate exactly what the plant receives at all times. IMO - more manageable and precise than soil. Include a regular diet of calmag and ur good to grow.: 1: Yield🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴 Oh man what a gong show😎. The book on this one says that you’ll end up having to add support for her as bud weight becomes a serious issue in late flower. RQS is absolutely right, I had three smaller colas on the perimeter stretch for the last corner of light and they just got weighed down by the bud and pretty much fell over😂. We like this. Now the numbers - i did the math twice (and while sober just to make sure😉), you don’t wanna do it, it sucked, so you’ll just have to trust me: 1:. Total dried yield for the kush alone: 3.32oz. This crushes the single plant yield for any strain grown in this cabinet to date by well over an 1oz. : 1:😎. Total harvest yield across both plants: 4.99oz. This also crushes the record yield per cycle in the cabinet by a full ounce!: 1:😎👌💪🤩. The stats say an avg. of 500-550g/m2. Based on the rough size of my cabinet the avg. should be 131.25g/0.25m2.... our actual harvest across both strains - 140.6/0.28m2. Well 84 days later ...in Flower its was finally time to Harvest . I sure had my challenges as a beginner and learned a lot by my mistakes and learning about fixing issues and keeping the environment Consistent . I did turn my 600HPS down to 400 as i was my plants were getting light burn and heat burn ..... lets just say i was learning all the way throw . it was exciting being my very first time . I started flowering too late late and they stretched and stretched ... i dont have much space ....lesson learned . I had to train them to grow sideways which did help significantly as did the lower my light to 400 watts ..my space is a square Meter and low ...... it was crazy but I really enjoyed it and there hanging ..... Se hizo una defoliación, hace unas semanas hubo temperaturas bajas, lo cual para controlar esas temperaturas abrí las puertas en su periodo nocturno , estrese a los ejemplares y estos en este caso fueron las más afectadas en cuanto a hermafroditismo, aun con el problema rocié y elimine todos los posibles plátanos, y seguiré adelante y seguiré observando que no salgan más , los cuales seguiré eliminando. A mayores sufrimos una pequeña carencia en N que con un buen aplicado de alimentación se soluciona. . La humedad esta al 45% la temperatura está entre 21/25 grados , y como siempre el ph , ya que es de lo más importante,está en 5,8/6,0. . Day 122 / Week 7 of Flo: Since the colour of the fanleaves is fading away pretty quickly, i decided to add in a little nitrogen (in form of BioGrow). I havent been feeding any nitrogen since the beginning of the 5th Week of Flowering. Only the little that is in BioBloom, that is only 2% The complete solution i used is following: 16l Water (4 each plant) 8ml Bio Grow 48 ml Bio Bloom 16ml TopMax 48ml BioHeaven 48ml ActiVera Day 125 / Week 7 of Flo: I am not adding any more nutrients at this stage and i started watering every plant with 2,5l of water every two days as their demand is not that high anymore and i wanna keep humidity down to a minimum to prevent bud rot. To give you an idea in early Flowering i was watering every plant with 5-6l every 3 day's, from 5th week on i was giving them 4l every 3 days and now only 2,5l. As two of the plants (Plant #2 and Plant #4) are starting to look like they are close (about 10-12 days) to harvest i am considering to flush them one of the next days. The other two plants (Plant #1 and Plant #3) seem to be of the same phenotype and look like they can take a few days more, let's see.. Also they grew bigger and stretched more in flowering then the other two, maybe a little more sativa genes.. Day 127 / Week 7 of Flowering: Today i flushed plant #2 (back left) and plant #4 (front right) with 20l of fresh water 💦 from the well. Plants #1 and #3 are recieving 2,5l of plain water every second day for a few more days. Soon i will flush them too.

The flowers grew a little smaller than expected due to my radiator breaking down. The temperature rose to 20°C max during the day and 13°C at night. Obviously this slowed down growth. Fortunately I had a plan B, but I was only able to put it in place once I returned from vacation :/ On the other hand, I actually noticed that as soon as they found the ideal temperature, the fattening resumed as if nothing had happened. This variety is definitely very resistant, it's amazing... Thank you Royal Queen Seeds!!! There you go, this is the home stretch. We are entering week 8 and I have done my last watering with nutrient. From now on, I will water them exclusively with clear water, controlling only the chlorine and Ph. The countdown is on. This is truly the last phase of maturation. Harvesting can now occur anytime between now and 10 days from now! Chuss guys, we'll talk again next week!
