Week 8 Day 49 to harvest P1 harvest was flower day 53 - total wet weight was 24oz and the stem base accounted for 8.0oz, so about 16oz set to dry. I fed P1 half nute flush water again this week. Feed this week was 1.25 gallons 1 time. I used 400ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added .5ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and 7ml of Roots Organics HP2 (Aurora Innovations 0-4-0). PH balance this week was 6.3. And then cut her down 4 days later. P2 harvest was flower day 49 - total wet weight was 16.3oz and the stem base accounted for 6.4oz so about 9.9oz set to dry. (reminder that P2 was the test plant where I broke the main stem and later another later topping from an off branch already topped.) The test resulted in smaller colas in the later topping and the first topping break recovered surprisingly well with colas equal to the biggest. However the later break after the last topping resulted in the smallest cola. This tells me that any damage survived early can see a full recovery but later ones may cost yield. Since P2 looked mostly ready to harvest I decided to dry out after the first feed this week. I will update with cure and smoke details later.

18/06: Week 5 – early bloom stage confirmed! 🌱➡️🌸 We're entering week 5 with EC 1.6 and pH 5.8. The very first white pistils have emerged, confirming the transition into early flowering. The recent vertical surge was likely boosted by Far-Red and IR spectrum effects, along with enhanced metabolism from the CO₂ generator. From here, the plants will start shifting energy from stretch to flower production. Environmental control (especially RH and VPD) is now crucial to avoid early bloom issues. LST is being finalized as structure sets in. 21/06: We're now at day 31 since germination, and the flowering phase is clearly underway. Based on the canopy photo, the plants are thriving: a lush, uniform green with no signs of nutrient stress. Buds are starting to stack up nicely, and the foliage remains sturdy and intact. EC has been bumped up to 1.8 this week to support early bloom demands — especially for phosphorus and potassium — and the plants are handling it smoothly. No burnt tips or discoloration, indicating stable nutrient uptake. With environmental parameters dialed in through the GGS controller, everything's in sync. Onward to some serious bud building. 22/06: Stretch is in full swing — the girls are reaching hard, and I’ve had to raise the lights multiple times over the last few days. They’re now hovering just 10 cm above the canopy, delivering 1200 PPFD at 38 °C. We're truly pushing the physiological limit here. Dropping the lights any closer isn’t an option — cooling is maxed out, and more intensity = more heat. The only adjustable variable left would be CO₂ reduction, which I’d rather avoid at this stage. So far, no visible stress signs, but I’m watching them closely. Water uptake is intense — 100L in just 5 days. I refilled today (rather than a full res change) to prevent air pocket formation. Slightly bumped up the EC to temper the stretch. If things keep going vertical, some LST may soon be necessary — a few tops are practically kissing the diodes.

They seem to react in a good way when I water them at PH6.3 just water,a PH of 6.5 at feeding time. Some of the older leaves turned yellow so I did some pruning on them.

The ladies are packing on beautifully and we are now giving them extra strength light during 12:00 till 14:00 slot 100% and lowering the light back down to 75% from 14:00 till 17:00 and then 50% light from 17:00 till 23:00. Lets see what happens

Standard week. starting to swell. No issues really. Wish this girl smelled more. My Bakers delight grow has set the bar high and I think this will be just an average pheno. Probably grow this strain from seed again next run unless she gets her dank on. Defoliating heavy around the tops to keep main canopy below strip level. Aim is for even light on every single bud site, or as much as possible

Sunday, May 15. 2022 Plants really looking good and happy to me 😁. The roots are sucking much more water out of the pots than my previous grow and I am giving them a gallon every two days now. They wilted slightly a couple days this week because I didn't realise how much water they were using. Supplemented feed yesterday with Recharge and Cytokin, and foliar spray of same solution this morning. Both plants started showing pistils a couple weeks back but now both are full furred out. Plant #2, the one with whorled phyllotaxy, has red and white pistils; I am not sure of the significance of that, if any.

I am trying a new format for the weekly summary portion of my diary. Let me know what ya'll think! 👃 AROMA: Her aroma is fairly strong for this stage of flower. Blueberry dankness all the way! I look forward to experiencing the evolution of her terpine profile. One of my favorite aspects of growing cannabis is how much these plants change from start to finish and how much variation is possible with this plant. ❇️ BUD STRUCTURE: She is stacking on big round mounds of calyxes and looks like she is going to have large dense buds! 🎨 Color: She is a lighter almost an olive shade of green, right now. Her bright white pistils have a distinctive yellow hue to them. 🌿 STEM, STRETCH, & INTERNODES: She stretched more than I had expected. She has thick stems and relatively tight internodal growth. She definitely looks Indica in her bud structure. ✂️ TRAINING/PRUNING: I have continued selective defoliation as needed to avoid crowding herself and her neighbors. I remove no more than 25% of foliage at any one time, and usually closer 10-15%. I space out defoliation with a minimum of 3 days between sessions, in most instances. There will be exceptions to that, but this is a good rule of thumb I try to adhere to. She has been trained to have 6 main shoots and I am using LST techniques to gently bend her stems to evenly fill her space without overcrowding. ❄️TRICHOMES/RESIN PRODUCTION: Her buds are already starting to sparkle amd glisten. It looks like she will be a good resin producer! 🚿 WATER/FEED: I have continued with a light bidiurnal misting of White Dutch Clover cover crop . This in conjunction with running lower temps (New AC) has seemed to have drastically increased feeding intervals. My plants are needing much less water than in previous runs. I typically give the whole SOG one feed per week with light watering of select individual cultivars as needed between feeds. I try my best to "read" my garden. The amount of water between feeds depends on how soon the next feed will be. I feed the garden as a whole and this run I have been generally spacing feeds out 5-7 days or until the the first plant shows beginning signs of wilt (slight droop of lower fan leaves). 📝 OBSERVATION/NOTES: She doesnt appear to have any signs of deficiency or toxicity. 420 Fastbuds BlueDream Auto Week 7 So far so good keeping the same program. Watering 2 liters of straight well water daily as Temps are still in the high 90's so the girls are definitely starting to show that color fade more so now that they're into mid flower. All in all happy Growing

The buds are really starting to form now, I’m getting a lot of purple and some black sugar leaf this is gonna be a wicket show. Oh my freaking sticky icky and I thought growing weed was tricky

Happy holidays to you guys! 420! That's it, my first grov of photoperiod flowering and on organic substrate without fertilizer has come to an end. Today 4/20/2023 is the last day of light, it'll be in the dark for a while, and April 23 will be harvested. 14 full weeks from seed, 8 weeks of flowering. Looking at the trichomes, I'm worried I'm a little overdoing it on blooming, lots of amber heads on top, the middle and lower ones are milky. One spill this week for 6L with a little drainage and the flower stopped consuming moisture, got a little cooler in the house. Waiting for the harvest :-)
