So after my Dutch Passion failure I got myself a "recovery box" and the first one to save me will be FB Ztrawberriez Auto... I'm a bit worried that it might be too indica but I'm looking forward to discovering fastbuds world and checking for myself what's the hype all about, Wish me luck and let's pray for strong females w/o this hermaphroditism bullshit.
Week 1 here we go. Deciding on whether to lst the new ones or let them grow naturally. Let's see how she develops.
Day 9 Praying leaves, probably too much light for a baby. Before sleep drip fed her 500ml with rootjuice ph 6.4
Day 10 It's fine
Day 11 Looks good
Day 13 She's a happy girl, gonna water before day 14.
Week 3 here we go.
Day 15 The girl is strong.
Day 18 Four days since last watering but the pots are still a bit to heavy. I think I'm gonna let her grow this time without bending.
Day 19 500ml rj+bh. She's either the happiest plant I've grown or the most photosensitive one. I find her leaves up most of the time I visit. The rest of the girls are horizontally sad as usual :)
Day 20 She growing wider than her slightly older neighbor. Still "happy".
Day 22 She's a tall girl. Her lowest node is so undeveloped, should I remove it?
Day 23 Gosh she's getting big, still happy, watered ~700ml rj bh fm cm 6.3 lowest node removed
Day 25 Everyday I'm impressed by her size and structure :)
Day 26 She was lightweight, so I gave her another 1000ml RJ+CM+BG+BB+BH ~1EC 6.3pH
Day 27 I guess I should remove a couple of her big leaves soon
Day 28 Removed 4 biggest fan leaves that were creating too much shade, she's gorgeous, but I'm worried about her height :)
Hi guys! So this is a fb auto day 22. I was not planning to stress train her in any way. Could you please advise is this first node should be removed or kept? It looks unusually small to me and I wanted to remove it but I've never removed anything so early. Thank you, growmies!
I ALWAYS remove the first node, the one closest to the ground as it/they never really do much.
You can safely remove them, your plant will not notice it or be harmed in any way by doing so.
I take them off as soon as they are big enough to handle, leaving them too long may be more upsetting to the plant than early removal.

Day 31 I think I removed a couple more big fan leaves and decided to apply RQS LST Plant Training Clips to help the branches reach higher. I also removed a couple of suckers. Beautiful girl.
Day 33 Lots of pistils, we're going into the bloom next week.
Day 34 ~1500ml EC 1.2 6.3pH CM BG BB BH
Day 36 I guess I can call it bloom. Nice strong pistils shooting all over. She is the tallest so far making me raise my lights a little more.
Day 38 Now Californian Snow is the tallest :) Ztrawberry stopped at a perfect height, it looks like she's gonna develop into a beautiful lady. Fat white pistils all over 😻
Day 39 Happy girl got 2500ml cm bg bb bh 6.3ph ~1EC She is perfect, symmetrical, stopped stretching at about 50cm, flowers are mostly leveled, branches are strong, leaves point up unless I water. I think she's also turning purple. Beaut 😻
Day 42 I think I saw some burnt tips but she still looks super happy and healthy. The most vigorous plant I've had.
Day 44, fb auto, my happy girl developed those dark spots at the top... Is this a Calmag deficiency? Although I'm giving her calmag every feeding. I think there are also first burnt tips. I'm about to water her tonight, what should or should not give her? Thanks for your inputs🙏
You are in flower and at this point you really shouldn't have to be adding Cal/Mag. However, that is calcium deficiency which can be caused by low PH, or lack of calcium in your grow media. You have been feeding cal/mag, so I'd assume low PH.
In soil, calcium is best absorbed by the roots in the 6.2 – 7.0 pH range (in soil, it’s generally recommended to keep the pH between 6.0 – 7.0, but calcium specifically tends to be best absorbed above 6.2)
In coco or hydro, calcium is best absorbed by the roots in the 6.2 – 6.5 pH range (in coco/hydro, it’s generally recommended to keep the pH between 5.5 – 6.5, but calcium specifically tends to be best absorbed above 6.2)
Flush with proper PH and PPM H20. In flower you should be trending to a higher PH than in Veg.
Day 44 So there some sort immobile nutrient deficiency. Top leaves develop some dark spots, almost black. It's probably calmag but those should be more rusty in my experience. I gave her 3500ml 0.8EC cm bb bh, she gave me 700ml runoff with super high EC of 3 and ph of 6.0... I need to plainwater her a couple of times and raise soil ph because it seems to affect calcium intake.
Day 47 Beautiful lady, still looks good, the lock out is still obviously there, gonna flush her a bit with some low EC in a day or two when she dries.
Day 49 Amazing flowers all over with some purple colors. She is the queen. Gave her ~3500ml EC0.4 ph 6.3, got out 650ml ph 6.2 EC3.9!!! Ahh, just like my first grows :) But she's handling. Next time higher pH + rinser.

Day 54 Hold on queen, I will try to drop your EC tomorrow. Removed top most sick leaves. It was a very hot and humid week... hope her buds survived.
Day 55 4000ml 0.75EC 6.5 pH gave me ~1000ml runoff 4.2EC pH 6.4 - so I gave another 1500ml 0.3EC 6.5 pH with 2ml/L FlashClean which gave another 1000ml runoff with EC2.7 - should be better.
Day 59 It's hard to take pictures because it's a bit crowded in the tent and plants are standing on different heights. According to FB she should be ready week 9-10 which is shocking speed to me but she indeed looks more developed.
Day 61 4000ml in EC0.6 PH6.5, 800ml runoff EC1.9 PH 6.5 - it's dropping! :) I can smell strawberries, but more like artificial candy flavour rather than real ones, with some shoe polish notes after :D I'm contemplating removing her head sending it to dry already...
Day 62 So I made her some stellar headshots and chopped off her top bud. Although it looked quiet milky it could've grown longer but I have no patience. So I guess I'm doing progressive harvest :)
Day 65 It looks like she's turning pink! Her trichomes look majestic, I was blinded by their milky white shine when looked 60x and even noticed a couple of amber once already which seems crazy to me to have day 65 from seed. I think I'm gonna harvest her tomorrow. Seems fastbuds are on point with their 9-10 weeks estimates in description for this strain. She indeed smells like strawberry candy :D
Day 66 Sent her to chop town.
So I decided to harvest her day 66... She probably could've handled a few days more, she wasn't yet yellowing from the bottom, but I'm too impatient and spotted a couple of amber trichomes developing already. Beautiful pink color started to pop through. Let's see how she dries.

Smoke Review: After a week of drying and two weeks of curing I can 100% say that I would love to grow Ztrawberries Auto again, but give her some training. It seems to me there's a big difference in taste and effects when given a proper two-week curing. She tastes really pleasant of strawberry chewing gum and sweet berries, she has no couch-lock effect on me and works well all day. Good girl.
