My remaining plants were taken down 10 days ago and allowed to dry @65F /60-65%RH for 8 days before jarring. They prob could have made it another week outside but i didn't want to chance the cold. The dry weight was just over 5oz for the 2 plants pictured, 4 oz of bud and another Oz of popcorn. This strain is GREAT for sleep but can be a real daytime motivation killer.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

I am literally delighted with this strain. We know it is a classic usa strain par excellence, and for sure Fastbuds had access to a super clone to create it but it is really top. I have grown some Californian fem OGs in the past and it looks a lot like us, in a small way, of course, but the shape of the flowers and the particular way of distributing the hair make it unique. Nuggets are heavy and frosty they can go little longer tho still some clear tricomes and white pastilles should be prime next week They are frosty and glittery more every day now so almost ready.

9-15 Day 21 Today was water day! 2 liters ph 6.0 Added Kelp, Humic, yucca and build-a-bloom. Ratios above. PH to 6.0 forgot to add booster. only raised ph to 6.2, so I went with it. Readjusted LST. She has been super easy thus far. When I adjust lst, she just falls in place. Very happy with her. Nervous about flower, as all of my flowering agents are new to me. She loves it all so far, zero issues noticed with her. stays 80f when awake and solid 72 at night. vpd stays stead at 1.2 Moderate ppfd of 475-490. The bud sites should out grow the leaves soon, I'll crank it soon! ( some of my other plants are more picky) Great everything with her! 9-18 Day 24 Around 1500 ml water with yucca. I already cut some branches off this lady from the lower section that wasn't getting much sunshine. So I topped this gal to keep short and then the sativa traits took over and she grew tall and lanky which I would definitely change how I approach this strain in the future. Solid buds with a nice coating of trichomes. The yield won't be impressive but the quality is going to be banging with what she is producing. I cut more than half of this gals branches because her height was too much for my space so the final yield will not reflect what she could produce with the right training. Colas are getting heavy. Smell getting louder overall I am really happy with the strain

11 days of drying. I just trimmed her and put her in glass jars to cure. Trim was not to bad, got through her in about 1 hours, rough trim. I sampled this one alot while drying so her end weight is be more, maybe 5 grams. Her offical weigh was 61grams. The wet weight consist of entire plant. Branches and all which wa 465grams. From one of the videos you can see where 3 of her branches were broken because they were tied down. Self inflicted supercrop. A testament to how resilient these genetics are.
