Day 36. She has responded well to being left in the dark. I wanted some more vertical growth. She has stretched upward a few inches yay. I’m excited to watch her grow. Since my other girl is in such a small pot we can see both options.

I missed last week but the girls are looking so good and frosty now! Not much of a difference in them, from then to now. They're super sticky and they smell amazing. The best way to describe it would be, "a sweet funk". I actually had to chop one down 😓to make some room in the flower tent... it was btw. Other than that, I noted that the girls needed some calmag so they're getting some in the dirt this week. I am so excited, I can't for these to finish.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

First week under the Lumatek 600 Pro set to 50% and aporox 40cm away from canopy. Day 7 applied some pruning and supercropped the few taller girls to even out the canopy. I will add a CO2 bag next week as i increase the power to avoid potential light stress.

- We had a flying start until 7-10 days ago when we noticed some toxicity early signs, * Dark green leaves, * Slow bud progress * Burning tips, * Crispy leaves. ⚠️ PH testing at mediums(soil) run off and the confirmation was there. Too low PH (<4) & the roots started to lock down = (slowing nut - water uptake) -> slowing transpiration -> showing ☝️ toxicity-deficiencies. - We stopped feeding and started to flush with tap water at 7 PH (3 waterings -7l/plant), at first run off was really low (under 4 PH) and after the flush we were at 5 PH. - From now on we will adjust our waterings at 6.5 PH and start microdosing atami PK and snacks. - The plants responed quickly after the first flushings and we will be back on track fast. - Room smells like sparkling lemonade 🍋 only when teasing the buds, the humidifier/ionist keep the smells low and fastening the transpiration. * Update at half week 6.👇 - After flush we start feeding with the atami duo and some snacks, the PH steady at 6.5. - Buds fattening faster the last days.

Primera semana - Germinación en Placas de Petri sobre un invernadero calefactado, utilizando papel de cocina y pulverizando agua. Entre 24h y 48h después germina el 50% de las semillas y a las 72h el 90%. Mientras espero a que germinen, preparo el sustrato; · Coco-Kaya by BioBizz and Julian Marley 75-25. Utilizo macetas altas de 1,4L que riego con abundante agua, antes de plantar las semillas. Cuando germinan las planto bien etiquetadas y pulverizo agua, sin regar. Así evitamos movimientos indeseados de las semillas. 18h de luz 6h de oscuridad. Los balastros ajustados a 250w. Durante la semana, van saliendo los cotiledones de todas las plantas.

Weeeeek 9. What's cooking good looking. She looks like she'll finish up on schedule in about 3 weeks time. Currently 20% milky 5% amber trichs. Been feeding with extra dose of bloom to give the buds extra weight and happy with progress this week.

Bien pues os presento el nuevo cultivo, 5 variedades de GB Strains de la mano de GB The Green Brand. Son unas Tropicanna Cookies, Apple Friter, Bannana Wafflez, Grand Daddy Purple y Miracle Alien Cookies. Les haremos transplante y la maceta definitiva sera de 7L voy a usar la tierra de marca Gramoflor en concreto la Gramomed es una tierra menos compacta, mas aireada y con hongos beneficiosos. Por ahora llevamos unas 16 horas desde que empezamos a germinar, pronto metere actualizacion de estado :D 05/04/22 -- Actualizacion de estado: Bien pues he subido mas fotos y os explico: Las mas grandes se empezaron a germinar el 22/03/22 y las mas peques 1 semana despues, el dia 29/03/22 Las GDP (grand daddy purple) no salieron y las descarte. Creo que pasaron mas frio que las demas y fue fallo mio. -- Actualizacion 11/04/22 Las mas grandes empiezo ya a contar 1º semana de crecimiento a partir de este lunes 11/04/22 y en 2 semanas maximo transplantamos a 7L definitivas
