After three weeks in the solo cups I transplanted to 1 gallon pots and three days later I noticed yellowing on one of the plants so in 16oz of water I mixed in 1/4 tsp of Epsom salt and gave it to both plants in fear of magnesium deficiency but the other plant is thriving and growing strong. I had a good week, defoliated any yellow leaves I saw, let the soil dry completely and then flushed her a little. This plant isn’t the most resilient plant I’ve worked with, having more trouble than I’d like.

Strong genetics, especially for an autoflower. Had a heat issue during week 4 and 5. Had to move to a new grow space, took me 2 weeks to get the environment optimal for cannabis growing. But she came back from the heat stress and was a huge one. Produced some nice dense buds, indica type of buds.

What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Growing and flowering

I experimented with this as it was a free seed and I wanted to see what would happen if I removed any additional nodes and just kept focus on the man node/ cola. She weighed in a solid ounce dry maybe less give or take a few days of curing/ drying. Smoked really nice and packed a punch which kinda made me regret using this beautiful strain in my experiment as I would have loved more from her but at the same time she taught me a lot with regards to nutrient levels and how plants react depending on which way they're trained or defoliated which has really helped me with future grows so for that I will certainly be running this strain again! I will have to make sure I watch that on all my future grows. I prayerful that this week will get me fully back on track, in my previous grows using my chart, I haven't had any issues during this week, so again prayerful that this is the week I am back on point. 3/5/2023 Week 3- Day 2 of Veg (Day 32 overall) ROOT ROT!!! I guess from when I drowned it I caused a lurking issue that really showed it's head today. The roots were looking not slightly bleached but looking black. I cut out what looked dead and I had to run to the local Hydro shop to pick up some items to see if I can fix it and strengthen the plants. I picked up Mammoth Silica, ORCA, and ROOT Drip. Nothing new on the leaves at all. So I think the trio that I added is helping. The plants also seem to be in raised happy position going towards the light. I still plan to change the water on Saturday and go from there. 3/10/2023 Week 3- Day 6 of Veg (Day 37 overall) Moved the light up to 41 1/2" so 3' 4 1/2" away from the top of the Plants. PPFD= 363 Power on my Light =62.5 Water Temp is holding steady=70.3 PPM= 534 PH= 5.92 Tent Temp= 72.5 Humidity= 50-60% I have 2 humidifiers running on INK Bird controllers monitoring it 24/7. I will be changing out the water tomorrow even though I could let it go an extra week but I am still concerned that the Root Rot is clearing up and I don't want to risk it coming back. I want fresh Nutes/ water in the tanks. I topped 2 nodes on #3 I topped 3 Nodes on #2 I also cleaned out some of the bottom third portion that isn't getting much light and not much growth at all. #2: 8 1/2" tall, 18" Wide #3: 7 1/2" Tall, 15" Wide

This week was good, trying to give transiting plant as much light expo. as possible......also removed most of the smaller bud site........the one that is in full flower mood is super healthy n green gonna start packing size from next week on a (k) diet

Enough with bushes would be title of this week. As 3x I went with LST and defol. The plants are now pretty strong so the lst goes well. Just have to be carefull as it could snap. The perfect method I think would be scrog however. Because they are so bushy and I dont have enough space to tie them down properly. Still cant get clear with how much nutes I need to give. 2 of ny plants just go wild with the leafs . The dots in video happened overnight. Since I cut off the lowest leafes which were half yellow brown dotted. Buds are starting to form pretty good. I suppose 🤷‍♂️🏻😄 as this is the first time I have no idea. Main worrie is that I dont get a bunch of popcorn nugs . So will see. Next week looks pretty much the same. Maybe will figure out something about the net though.

The 4 gelatos are just about week 3-4 of flowering. Looks like they will all mature within 10 days of each other. This gives me some time during harvest - as doing all 4 big plants at once is a lot. So far no nutrient burn at all as I punch it at 600ppm koolbloom and 450 ppm Jacks RO with RO water at 5.8ph. 1050 ppm. So far this mix has been very ph stable. I used power SI in my coco. I like silica in my substrate in lieu of in my reservoir. Hence no more ph drift. Very impressed. They’re drinking a solid 2 gallons a day. That’s a lot of RO water (8 gallons a day). It looks like the stretch is slowing, the branches are hardening in anticipation of the weight of the buds. I’ve defoliated almost every day. Next I have to move the plants and net them to prevent the moths / caterpillar during the fattening stage. My biggest problem has been the plants toppling over from the wind. One has hit the deck 10 times. But they just keep chugging along. Best of luck on your grow.
