I used ghe flora kleen for a few days then plant phed water for a few and chopped yesterday. Next to come is the harvest, can't wait to see the weight off this baby.

Well, finally I decided to make a small tour video and it looks like a couple are a bit overfertilized, but I'm still happy with the general view 🙃🙃 and just ordered a new toy to have a closer look at the babies!!

Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

This week is really a cruise control week! Day 77,78; Did nothing for the girls today. #1 is indoors soaking up the light. #2 has adjusted well to outdoors. I only flipped a little over a week ago but I feel like the stretch is finished? They arent getting much taller. Day 79: Watered #1 today using recharge. They love this stuff!! #1 did great in transition. She didnt yellow at all. The CMOG dont like water either. I've finally got that through my head lol. Day 80; I checked on number 2. I should have kept her indoors and put something else out. She smells fantastic!! Waaay stronger than #1 an earthy menthol scent with hints of coffee and chocolate. #1 is starting to really bloom and show what sites will be prime. I've defoliated constantly removing leaves that block more light than they absorb. Day 82; Caged #2 today. Just to help give some support from the high winds we have been having lately. Also to spread her out a bit. I also gave a top dress of roots organic uprising bloom. (3-6-4) Day 83; Terp tea time! Idk if I should be even feeding them. They seem happy and healthy and everyone says Less is more. But I had to give some of the other plants some tea, so I figured #1 could get some too. She loved it btw. Happy happy girls!! Hello everybody Harvest day here and just like last year I'm gonna make it a regular flowering week in the diary and in 3 weeks to a month I will come with the results. So the chop itself went pretty smooth. I removed al the FanLeaves, sugarleaves and already did a nice trim. Other years I tried different approaches but this seems the best. I cut away the main cola and some big buds below a few days sooner since they were absolutely done, the other buds I left on the plant to mature for a few days extra and then proceeded to completly trim her. Buds look great, Pretty dense and big and all the buds kinda have the same size. The main cola is also not that huge but very decent. Frosty as hell and with a huge smell in my opinion. U would think that this is the most fun part of a grow (it is actually 😂) but I hate harvest day because of the insane smell a plant produces. Anyway she's hung up to dry now with a ventilator and a much needed carbon filter. The Roots on the plant looks insane. Lots of root bound and she really used all the soil and the entire pot. The stem is pretty thick, more then other years. I'm happy so far but the real test comes in 3 weeks. I already Tried a few sample buds and the taste is nice, a bit spicy and herbal, exactly what a Jack Herer is described like. I can only hope that with a good dry and cure she becomes even better but these were just small sample buds, curious for the big ones 😁😅 Thanks a lot for following this journey. Hi All, This baby has become huge in the past 2 weeks. I still tried doing LST on it and as far as I can see it really worked. She became much wider and is even producing more side branches then before. The smell is great, it actually does smell like lemon. Still not using any nutrients (First time growing) to see how the plant is growing. Any tips or tricks are always welcome. Happy growing xo Nien

Here's some video of day 11 of flower. You can't even tell I defoliated at the flip. Top left is London mint cake. It's the shortest plant and I'm hoping I don't need to reach it in the later stages of flower. Bottom left is rainbow cake and the big girl on the right is pineapple express. She's much more leggy considering I started them at the same time. Same nutrition amount as last week. Just letting them stretch out. No issues so far.

Just picked up my seeds off my buddy. He had them under a light for 6 weeks and their looking great. Moved them outside and they didn’t seem to be too shocked from the adjustment. Getting about 7 hours of direct sun then some indirect sun but mostly shade after that. Gonna top, prune, and move to bigger pots soon

Coming to a close here with Tangie'matic. This grow has been so enriching! I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and head strong into the controversial world of topping autoflowers. Some people swear by it, others stand by their stance that topping an autoflower will destroy any chance at a decent yield by stunting the plant in its already limited life cycle. This plant has been a true partner throughout this grow process. I pushed with the top, she pushed back with buds. I pushed her again by changing her grow environment when I decided to prematurely move my grow tent into the basement. She stacked and fattened. When I traveled and let her house get too chilly, she tossed me a couple of foxtails to remind me that I need to do a better job. I responded with more environment correction and she rewarded me by finishing up beautifully.

Week 4 seemed a bit slow at first, but i also realised that I wasn't treating coco appropriately, I should feed nutrients every time I water and control the ph and ppm better. By the end of week 4 I got a water quality tester and am now able to properly take my ph down and monitor ppm so my plants don't get nutrient burned, but still gets enough nutrients in time. I also allowed good amount of the top layer of my coco to dry because I mixed up advice that received about soil and coco together. Apparently coco has no issues with overwatering unless your pots have no drainage so in the last 2 days I started treating coco the way it's supposed to be treated, I also finally got calmag and my plants are showing good signs of health past 3 days, they look revitalised and happy again 😊 Unfortunately, apple fritter was way too sick for me to continue with it so I restarted it in a proper coco and perlite mix that's non fertilised, that's a separate diary because its a whole month later. I decided not to train the first 2 plants just to see how the natural process is supposed to go.
