Sat 7/8: - Transplanted a runted Purple Lemonade auto into a small plastic pot (1/2 litre), from 3 gal fabric pot. Put it back in the veg tent where there is more room. It is wasting space in the flowering tent. Suspect over watering early on as issue. - Shifted a Grapefruit auto from the veg tent to the flowering tent to replace the Purple Lemonade. A little early, so it is on a pedestal to reach the canopy. - Planted a Fastberry and a Gorilla Cookie auto. - Harvested 20g wet from the CBD20:1 (8w). Sun 8/8: - Changed light cycle from 18/6 to 20/4. - Fed plants, varying mixture by plant age. CBD20:1 is now only on water at every feed. - Tied main stem down on Grapefruit auto (3w). - Set up endoscope camera to capture the Grapefruit response to LST. - Continued lollipopping Strawberry Pie (5w) and Kosher Cake(4w). Tues 10/8: - both the Gorilla Cookie and the Fastberry seeds popped. I’ve put them under icecream containers in the veg tent so they don’t dry out too quickly. Wed 11/8: - Small targeted watering with no feed. Thurs 12/8: - feed plants that needed to be watered. Sat 14/8: - Harvested the remaining CBD20:1 at 9 weeks, 73g wet - Harvested undersized Lemon Pie at 8 weeks, 26g wet. - Planted a Gelato auto and a Wedding Cheesecake auto from Fast Buds. Got some sealant to properly seal my DIY CO2 generator and lil maggie seems to like it. Her buds are starting to swell up. For the CO2 generator I did the following: 2 Liter Bottle -> 1 Liter Bottle -> Fan (Fermenting) -> (Water Filter) -> (Distribute) Ingredients: Sugar - 3/4 Cup Yeast - 1 Teaspoon Water - 6 Cups Step 1: Add 6 cups of room temperature water to the 2 liter bottle. Step 2: Add 3/4 cup of sugar to the water and mix until sugar is fully dissolved. Step 3: Add 1 teaspoon of yeast and let sit until bubbles appear in water filter bottle.
Step 4: Direct the end hose to the plant canopy. CO2 is heavy so it falls, use fan to blow it to the plant canopy.

All the BigBud plants need to be re-potted this week into their final homes..we're running a little low on promix so 50% will be reused..thanks for reading, drop a like if you made it this far lol..we'll update midweek ❤️🐱💡🌱 ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_ 8/14/21 😽Everyone was up-potted to 5- 6 gallon containers toady..I also cleaned out a tent and moved a light, creating a space just for the ILGM Big Bud 😺👌 ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_ 8/16/21: 😺I think my transplant solution was a little too spicy for them, we're starting to get glossy and claw (pics) but no dead tips yet..definitely water only for a little while... ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_ 8/18/21 😻Crazy fast new growth after last topping despite looking over fed.. this seems to be a very forgiving strain.. I can tell she’s going to take at least 70 days until harvest, maybe more. She’s growing strong and has moved past the brief pH issue she had a few weeks back. She’s starting to fatten up which I’m thankful for because I was just about out of vertical space to offer her. I still haven’t been able to really pinpoint her exact smell although it smells similar to other Mephisto strains. Drinking 2L of water every 2 days, I might increase to 2.5-3 L to get a little more runoff.

Alright folks, I hate to admit it but I messed up. I deleted the photos for this week and I was so disappointed when I realized I did. My phone was glitching after an update so I did some maintenance and made some space, thinking I'd already uploaded my photos for the week to my drive because I'd done so for the Autos, but hadn't done the photoperiod pictures😣 But at least there's a video. On 8/1 I went to the local mushroom farmer just a couple miles down the road and got some spent hardwood substrate blocks. While there's not enough food left in them to make mushrooms, there's still live mycelium. The mycelium creates a symbiotic relationship with the cannabis plant by entering the soil and taking up residence in the root system. The roots can only take up so much surface area, but the mycelium can take up much more. So in exchange for sugars from the plant, the mycelium gives back nutrients. So in order for the mycelium to enter the soil I crumbled a couple blocks around the base of each plant and then watered it in. I hate playing this game of catch-up but it's just been wayyyy too busy and I've had hardly any time in the garden.

This plant is getting close to the finish line. She doesn’t have the tightest buds I’ve seen but what she lacks in tightness she makes up with loads of trichomes and a nice sweet skunky smell. I will likely take her down in the next couple days. She has been a pleasure to grow. Zero issues with mould/mildew or bugs! A true winner when it comes to resistance! Cant wait to chop!! Thanks for supplying the genetics sweet seeds!! 😎🍿🍻🌱

I can’t believe how big this plant is!! She is really bursting into flowering. There are already trichomes showing at the little bud sites which is incredible. Sweet seeds genetics always seem to bring the frost!! I can’t recommend these genetics enough! She’s the biggest Fast Photoperiod I’ve ever grown!! I bet she will push over the 1lb mark! She’s super resistant to mould/mildew and bugs. She can take the heat like a champ and down pours don’t affect her at all!! I have been spraying her with OMRI fungicide which I’m sure has helped. Like I always say, a little prevention goes a long way! Although I also believe strong stable genetics help!! I can’t wait to see what another week brings!! Bravo sweet seeds you nailed it with these genetics!! 🔥🔥🔥 😎🍿🍻🌱

All received their final feeding early this week and they are on ph water here on out. Had to add the humidifier in this week for the first time with these girls as the humidity dropped to 47%. They should be on cruise control from here with just water. They have a really nice fade happening to their leaves and developing nice purple hues. Hopefully they will be ready to harvest in a week or so time. Daiquiri Lime is the frostiness by far!!!

Alright all, it's been awhile since I've been able to update so I have a couple weeks to catch up on. Unfortunately my cheap phone was having issues last week and I had to do a deep clean and got rid of some photos, photos I though I'd uploaded to my drive that I actually hadn't. I seriously could have kicked myself. But thankfully I at least have a video instead of nothing. So on August 1st I got some spent hardwood substrate blocks from a mushroom farmer down the road. I crumbled the blocks around the base of each plant and watered them in. The purpose of putting the blocks down is that they still have live mycelium in them, and the mycelium creates a symbiotic relationship with the cannabis plant and it's root structure. The cannabis roots can only take up so much surface area, but the mycelium can take up the space the roots do not and form a network where in exchange for sugars the mycelium will provide nutrients for the cannabis plants. Also, watering with the molasses gives the mycelium the sugars it wants. I'm sorry I don't have more pictures, I wasn't even thinking when I was cleaning up my phone because I was so frustrated with it (there's a reason LG stopped making phones recently). It's just been wayyyyyyyy more busy than I expected or wanted it to and I've had hardly any time in the garden. It's all this rain! Last year I was complaining about how there wasn't enough rain, now this year there's plenty of it. When I'm not doing Garden stuff I'm working part time with my husband doing landscaping and tree work, which includes mowing lawns. Last year with the drought we were mowing lawns maybe every 2 weeks. This year it's every 4-5 days. It's crazy.

What else can I say, this plant is a beast!! She is bursting into flowering quite nicely. Pistils are popping out everywhere. I have found a little bit of powdery mildew on a few fan leaves so I will have to up my mildew spraying with OMRI fungicide to once every 3 days. I will rotate between two types to stave off resistance to them. I did a little top dress with my flowering mix of dry amendments. She seems to have liked it. This plant is healthy and happy with the exception of a little PM!! I’ve battled PM before so I know this foe well. I have conquered it before and will do so again 😎 😎🍿🍻🌱

I screwed up guys. First of all, I'm very late updating and have a couple weeks to catch up on. Second, my cheap LG phone was screwing up last week so I did some maintenance clean up on it and totally forgot to make sure I'd uploaded photos to my drive first. I'd uploaded the pictures of the Autos because I updated those diaries, but I didn't upload the pictures of the photoperiods before I deleted a bunch of photos to make more room so those are gone. I could have kicked myself, gahhhh! Thankfully I at least have a video to share with you. On 8/1 I got some spent hardwood substrate blocks from a local mushroom farmer just a couple miles down the road. The blocks are still full of live mycelium that create a symbiotic relationship with the cannabis plant by creating a network in the plants root system where it trades nutrients it takes up from the soil for the sugars it needs. The main reason I got them was for "Problem Child" to see if the mycelium can sort out her nutrient issues and get her in a good groove for flowering, but all the plants should benefit from it. I'll have more for next week!
