The bud development is going great, did some light defoliation to reduce the humidity and increase the airflow. The tips are turning a bit yellow, the light was a bit close due to the recent grow. Moved the light up a bit. Too make sure it’s not a nute burn I also decreased the Nutrients solution compared to last week.

Hello. This is the end of the veg cycle and the first week in flowering. It's May 30/2023. The Breeders Description said 8 to 9 weeks of flowering. That should take us to August 1st. That would be the start of week 9 and Aug. 8th would be the end of week 9, so I plan to harvest around then. The greenhouse looks a little different than last time. My buddy Jerry brought me some bamboo (he went out of his way on his birthday to do that for me) What A nice guy he is. I used 18 of the longest pieces to make a Scrog type of net to hold up the big buds I hope to get. First year to try this bamboo thing. Hope it goes good. I might have to tie it up tighter. I did a good trim/prune, under the table mostly, but did remove some big fanleaves up top that blocked the lower branch ends/tips from seeing good light. I think it's also good to remove the big fanleaves that don't get much light any more. It promotes more growth up top. While trimming I left the branches that were growing straight down. I'll trim them off today for cuttings, for clones I'll make later. I mix 10ml of liquid seaweed with 1 gallon of water to put the cuttings in. I'll make 6 cups for 6 different plants numbered 1 to 6 so I don't mix them up. 😁 I'll pack up the lights later. I'll mix some transition to flowering, nutrient solution tomorrow. Another smooth week for everyone but the twisted helix. This plant gets the award for the most unhappy plant I have ever grown. The leaves are dying off fast and she isn't looking good. Just trying to keep her alive long enough to make hash out of her. Sugar Cane buds are pretty small compared to the others but she's full of trichomes and still has some time to put on weight. Jack Herer has a super strong lemony aroma. Everyone is still stacking up. Not seeing any swelling yet so we still have some time before they think about finishing up. I put the dehumidifier in the room this week. Hoping to start getting these girls chopped and trimmed in the next few weeks, but have to let them do what they do.

The flowering started! I'm very excited to see those first little white "hairs" in my plants. Everything is going well, the stems are getting thicker and flowers are groing very fast. I'll keep you all updated with this, send me good vibes!

Week 6 Notes & Observations: P1 is showing signs of issues. Not sure if it’s from the drying out (boron deficit) or from the mites. Wither way hopefully I am covering the situation by both feeding and treating against the mites with spinosad. P2 however is showing a better recovery from the break and seems to be on tack with new growth and training. With all 8 colas now set I just train to finish veg around new year’s day. The next two weeks will just be set up for that ***Update*** P2 lost a cola in training apparently. Upon check up today I noticed that all of the colas were aiming up except for one on the 'good' side, then I noticed that was because it had snapped in training or in the next day turn towards the light... learning a lot with this plant... VPD and PPFD: This week I will hold the humidity in the tent to about 70-75% and temps will be monitored for 70- 75F daytime and 66-71F overnight. Im adjusting my lights and look to control them at ~500ppfd max. Meaning slight increase over last week but mostly just growth increase but will also place on higher supports to increase PPFD to desired levels. Feed & Monitor: ***All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix" concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios of each feed will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 2. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5.*** Day 49 (last feed was day 44) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, this time P1 weighed 12lbs 7oz. and P2 weighed 13lbs 3oz before feed (both plants weighed 11lbs 2oz before last feed). Each plant got 1.33 gallons of purified water with 9:1 ratio of Veg/Bloom Mix concentrates - 356ppm Veg Mix (recipe on week 2) and 44ppm Bloom Mix (recipe on week 5) with 1.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) . The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.3ph. After feed this time, P1 weighed 20lbs 5oz and P2 also weighed 20lbs 5oz (both weighed 19lbs 2oz after last feed). I got about 6 cups of runoff on P1 and 8 cups on P2 this time (both plants gave up 8 cups of runoff last feed). Runoff for P1 ph was 6.4 with 758ppm (6.3 with 906ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.45 with 729ppm (6.4 with 814ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.34,6.31,6.35,6.33 for an avg of 6.33 (6.24 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.34,6.32,6.35,6.30 avg 6.33 (6.37avg after last feed) - next feed will be 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated water and 6.3ph as Im liking where the ph is now and I dont see any issues from feed or training. The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.25ph. After feed this time, P1 weighed 20lbs 9oz and P2 also weighed 20lbs 9oz (both weighed 20lbs 5oz after last feed). I got ~8 cups of runoff on P1 and 8 cups on P2 this time (6 cups of runoff on P1 and 8 cups on P2 after last feed). Runoff for P1 ph was 6.36 with 1110ppm (6.4 with 758ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.35 with 1170ppm (6.45 with 729ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.22,6.17,6.21,6.26 for an avg of 6.215 (6.33 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.19,6.17,6.16,6.12 avg 6.16 (6.33avg after last feed) - next feed will be 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated water and 6.5ph as I rather see top soil higher after a feed and almost match the runoff - I dont see any issues from feed or training.

Seeds popped today:-)transferred 3 Purple Kush seeds in to small pots 10/09/23 3 Purple Kush seeds, 1 seed in each small pot. Each Pot is Half filled with lite mix compost and Half filled with Vermiculite , watered planting medium before sowing seeds 2cm deep in planting medium. The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect increasing higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. Placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. This may seem like a lot of effort? and it is, but it will be highly beneficial by increasing a higher germination rate and higher amount of seeds will germinate from using this method :-) especially if your seeds were expensive. 11/09/23 no sprouts above the vermiculite yet, i will check it again tomorrow. Today 2 Purple Kush Germinate and rise above the vermiculite 3 days after sowing. Purple Kush is going ok, it could be growing faster, unfortunately i can't upload new photos because there is a problem in the GD system, they are doing there best to fix this problem as soon as possible. GMO Cookies where started 16/09/23 filtered water in glass, also add 3/5 drops of hydrogen peroxide, stir water well before adding the seeds, and stir again after adding seeds to water. 3 seeds sprouted, but only 2 survived, it become to hot and one GMO Cookie sprout died. I will leave it for 24 hours, 5 seeds of Party Monster have sprouted and are under the same 100W LED grow light. This is my second attempt to grow GMO Cookies from 3 feminised seeds, i messed up on the first 3 seeds, i put them under a 250 Watt LED and it fried them, my folt. Growing from germinating seeds is a very delicate situation, your environment temperature needs good control. 2 Party Monster seedlings are looking good, coming along well under the 100W LED light. 3 GMO Cookies are looking good also under the 100W LED light. Slt, fin de la 3eme semaine, les plantes continuent de se développer, pour les 2 pieds de gorilla cbd, un des deux semble être un peu difforme en comparaison du 1er, on verra comment il évolue. Pour la critical+2.0, les pieds semblent vigoureux et se développe plutôt bien. J’ai tester pour la 1ère fois il y’a 24h le topping, j’espère ne pas l’avoir fait trop tôt. Je souhaite que les plantes se développent en largeur et pas trop en hauteur. Pour réaliser une belle canopes bien dense. Je vais commencer aussi une très légère défoliation pour que la plante concentre son énergie uniquement sur les parties hautes. J’ai réduit l’humidité à 60%. J’ai réduit aussi l’engrais pour racines.
