I've come to the conclusion that I'm dealing with an Iron issue with this one. Giving it more Calcium in the lime water probably wasn't the best idea, though I thought it would help stabilize the PH. Hard to tell if it's an excess or deficiency. I figured it would be an excess since we have a high amount of iron in our water. So, I think my best course of action is flushing with some sledgehammer first of all. That's what seems to be the recommended course of action. Then we can top dress with some Coast of Maine 5-2-4 for a good round amount of nutrition and hopefully that will help it out of it's funk so it can recover before it's too late😳.

The first in breaking the shield was the pheno number 2 on this pair of jack orange! Let's see how they keep developing!! Out of the 2 seeds that I started only one was good and I decided to discard the #1 because of a deformation or a genetic fail. So I just kept #2, hope you like this strain!

Hectic week, started to find little mites . Ordered some predator mites to kill them I don't want to use spray during flower Realized I was overwatering, was traumatized from last nute burn First plant is looking like it's starting to turn light green- not happy about it. The buds are also very tiny on the first plant which is strange , vegged it way longer. Also waiting for the buds to hopefully connect and fatten up. Upped the nutrients to 840 ppm - hoping this will help fatten the buds up It says week 5 flower , but I do not consider the 1st week as flower as it is still in transition. I' Ordered 2nd vent fan- Temps and RH are very steady with minimal deviation Last soil grow for me, I have a clone in a hydro bucket dwc 2x4 tent and it grows substantially faster vs soil with no issues.

6/16 Fed today. Left out the microbe and kangaroots due to time. I'm adding the kelp me kelp you as well but it was a rush this morning. Didn't get spinosid applied last night. I found a spittle bug in it's bubbles and killed the nymph. I noticed random little munch's so that makes me think the spinosid is a good idea. Plants seem very happy. 6/17 Transplanted the rooted cuttings of 9lb kush and NYC Skunk Ape into a gallon of happy frog. From there they'll go in either a five gallon bucket, 10 gallon bag or right in the bag. Considering how late it is I think the two ten gallon grow bags would be perfect. The two Black Widow/GSC seeds kinda dried out but got transplanted to two red solo cups of happy frog. It will be interesting to see which strains do well in this harsh climate. Didn't get the spinosid sprayed and I'm unsure of I will tonight. Looks like rain. I'd rather apply when sky is clear. I love being able to do this. Every morning I start my day off right. Great boost to mental health! Internet is fucking up so I'm having difficulty loading pictures. Rrrrr 6/20 Took a bunch of pictures but forgot to add them and my internet connection is to slow to upload right now. I haven't had to water this crop only a couple times this year. Temperature shot down to 45 last night. I noticed some more WPM on the interior of some of the GDPs. Also leaf hopper damage and random munches from other bugs. I did some interior defoliation and spot treated with k bicarb and dawn. I'll attempt to upload pictures again. Black widow/GSC has germinated. 6/21 Watered the girls with the hose. Was super pressed for time so I couldn't pH the water. The hose looks like it's about 6.5 but I know it's a little more alkaline. Oh well it's what I've always used. I should've fed but again...crisis. girls look wonderful. I took a bunch of great photos but I used the app to take them and the didn't upload. On the plus side I got some older ones up. I haven't spent nearly the amount of time I usually do on my garden. However I will say the k bicarb has been stellar. Even using it as spot treatment. 6/22 FED 3 gallons today. Kept the same schedule but added a 1/4 tsp microbe brew and a 1/4 tsp kangaroots. Didn't have the kelp with me so I left it out. PM seems to be controlled pretty well. A few interior leaves were defoliated but overall things look great. Especially considering the 35-40 degree temperature swing we've been seeing. I don't really see any insect damage. I'll wait until the temps settle before I do a foliar spray.

Another week down and it appears that the upward stretching has finally slowed down to a crawl at this point. I probably could have done a far better job managing these plants for maximum yields given I was doing some quick and dirty pheno hunting it really wasn't needed. I am glad to see the buds are beginning to swell nicely now. The time lapse really shows it off well, even if it is a bit over-exposed. I *really* need to get some better glass in there.... This old Brino 720p camera isn't cutting it when I want nice close shots. The buds are showing some nice trichome development as well. I'm more than a little curious to see how they after another month of filling out.

These girls are coming along despite the same hiccups as the strawberry gorilla. What it is I think is cal mag issues from re using old soil and over watering. I added ac infinity self watering bases to help me keep up with the 24 hour lighting. Check back next week to see just how fast they bud & remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!

End of week 3 Looking healthy and strong

Hello my comrades! It was time for the fifth week of plants in my student's tent. He's lazy, and I don't have time to deal with his plants, but even the little we do has a positive effect on the progress of plants. Autoflowering plants did not train LST, but regularly did defoliation. Photoperiodic Bubblelicious on the contrary trained on the technique of LST, but did not cut off the vegetative leaves, because of this it turned out low, but fluffy. Beginning of week 9(Flower): Plant still isn’t doing much, but she does look damn good. I love this plant. The entire apartment seems to smell when walking in. I realized I may have had my carbon filter setup wrong. I was pulling air from the grow tent without the filter inside, it would push the air out of the fan and through another duct and then finally into the carbon filter. I feel a lot of the smelly air was escaping this way. Hopefully this makes a difference. I took a clipping of a sugar leaf today and put it under my 60x microscope. This is my first time really checking on the trichomes, so I could be completely off, but it seems that 10% of the trichomes turned amber. I should be waiting for 30% amber before I harvest this? 2 more weeks I think? I’ll continue to check each week. Maybe I’ll try to get a check mid-week sometime. It has been 1 week now since I’ve given her nutrients, still looking really healthy.

The Mars Hydro SP 250 is definitely the best LED solution for its price, you can get a serious LED light which is bright enough to be able to grow some serious buds like a pro, and I can tell just by seeing the quality and the intensity of the spectrum from my experience. This LED light will make you say WOW when you plug it in and each time you will see it turning on, for sure 👍 Before receiving this baby, I’ve read the driver becomes hot, but in my definition something hot, is something that you can’t handle more than a few seconds... to be honest, for me this driver becomes a bit warm and you can handle it with no problem. And one last thing about this driver, it is removable, in case if you personally think it’s too hot for your growing area. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Arrancamos con la primera semana de floración de estás red hot cookie gelato, con lo que respecta a la variedad va muy bien, la veo bien, excepto una que ah salido media golpeada o por algún estrés que sufrió y se estanco ahi. Estás de altura van bien menos una q se quedo, pero bueno lo q dije antes, será un fallo de novato y tanbm me duele pero yo se q de a poco se va mejorando, ya voy teniendo en cuenta varios puntos de riego y demás cositas...
