Finally got amber trichomes on day 18 of flush!!! Starved for the girl for 24 hours simply on light. Day 114 - Harvest!. Summary of Grow: Normal with one exception. Trichomes refusing to amber til the last minute. Not something I've encountered before. A good lesson in patience. 4oz!! I'm extremely happy! So today is the day i switch my plants to flowering lights schedule and flowering nutes, started with 1/4 the recommended dosage and will gradually up them, only boosters i left at recommended values. Ppm is 800. Next will be 1000, then 1200 and maybe 1400. I plan to flush on days 16, 28, 35 and 42 of flowering, leave them to dry for 4-5 days so roots will oxygenize and help to stack more dense buds, and then add nutes. I plan to do the final flush for last 2 weeks with flawless finish. You can see some before and after training photos and videos from today, defoliated some leaves and LST-ing branches, spreading them out last time so light can reach smaller branches, after all she got some more stretching to do and its why i left sensi grow with more Nitrogen. Tiene alguna decoloración en las hojas superiores debido a la proximidad de la lámpara, se ha solucionado incrementando la distancia entre el foco y la planta. Creo que le quedan unas dos semanas por estirar, parece que va a ser una buena cosecha. Se mantiene un buen control del cuarto de cultivo gracias a @marshydro y @trolmaster. End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Amazing progress across the board in the tent the last week. Development has been positive for The New and Black Dog, Bubba has swollen up bud wise, and it’s still another week away or so (flowering is supposed to be 50-55 and we’re at 50 today). Chemdawg smell is getting stronger but not too aggressive, and it’s fate king nicely on most colas. Even at the bottom of the plant the buds look nice. It’s an amazing strain, can’t wait to smoke it.

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

Nothing much to report. The smell is growing more distinctive. Lots of pistils are coming out. It's an exciting time but much less work than veg was. I changed the nutrients on Thursday and just topped up with more water and pH down this morning (Monday).

Week 9, day 57.... started this week with a feeding of pH 6.0 plain water. Hope she start to fatten up really soon. I'm going to take it a little light with the feeding this week because I gave her some nutrient burn.i also noticed some of her older leaves are getting a little yellow, is that something I should worry about? Day 58..... she's ok, took a few pictures of her leaves that has those dull spots. Hopefully someone can lead me in the right direction. I see very little progress with her buds swelling. I do have a heater in my tent which is right next to this plant(not facing or touching) and I was reading about heat stress, could it be that she's this tall because of it? I did switch around my 2 plants in the tent. I'll monitor and let you guys know in a few days. Day 59.....this plant is really big, she's taking up more than half of my tent. About the deficiency, I don't know exactly what it is but I tested the ppm runoff and it's about 3500 which is really high. I honestly never tested the ppm of my feedings. She's going to get a nice flush and I'll be monitoring my ppm from now on. He buds do seem to be fattening up slowly but it's noticable every day. Day 60.....well her leaves are looking better but you can see the nutrient burn on the tips. This plant looks very different from the rest of @fast_buds girl scout cookies. I just hope she swell up before she's ready to harvest. Day 61......took a look at her trichomes and to me they look milky. I don't know if her buds will get any bigger. 😥. Day 63......last day of week 9, gave her pH 6.0 plain water today. Took a macro shot of her trichomes, let me know what you guys think.

The plants have already been topped. Today, on 25-05-2024, two large leaves were removed, covering the sprouts. The LST was done at the same time.

He who stops is lost, as an old saying goes I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season. We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Purple Urke have started, really smooth as silk, no problems with the placenta, it's there nice and straight going towards the light, we trust you a lot baby! It's like most purples, an Indica predominance. WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or the placenta prevent the opening of the cotyledon leaves the plant dies after a while. Remove it delicately as if it were a condom or almost. I apologize for the example but it gives the idea, remove slowly and delicately please. WARNING: If you choose biodegradable pots, choose the largest possible ones and not paper/cardboard ones, there is peat which is the main component of most of the soils we use. If you want to avoid transmitting vibrations to the neighbors I recommend you install one of these gym floors under your growboxes, I did it and I also feel safer not to disturb. They are easily found on Amazon in different thicknesses, I took a gym model that is assembled like a puzzle, they are also found in children's shops, they are those floors that are assembled to make children play safely, or to train and to avoid vibrations of the equipment or of any kind. Vamos familia, actualizamos la sexta semana de floración de estas Black Rainbow de Seedstockers, salieron las 3 de 3, 100% ratio éxito. Aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de floración. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 3 ejemplares seleccioné los 2 mejores para completar el indoor y trasplanté directamente a macetas de 7 litros, cambien el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y aplique una buena poda de ramas bajas, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, están cogiendo ya una tricomada seria.
