Day 56 for Chem91 and day 54 for the HighLux. Really excited to see the chem finally come around A huge difference from a couple of weeks ago. She went through her stretch and now has some distance between nodes. At 16 inches she is structured much like an azalea bush She looks nothing like the traditional Christmas tree shape they you associate with cannabis plants I am hoping she is able to handle the stronger light but we will see. HighLux! Hello sweetie! Love this plant. So far no issues. She is coming out of stretch and is closing in on 32 inches tall. She has created a terrific canopy, all side branches ended up a couple of inches apart in height. Beautiful. Flowers are getting bigger every day and the early frost is just incredible, it covers fan leaves inches away from the flowers. Started feeding her with General Hydroponics CocoTek bloom A&B for the higher pl values of the Canna Coco A&B line. She seems to love it. She also received a 6 ml dose of King Kola and again she seems happy with the extra pk. I have been giving the a fresh ph’d water flush flush about once a week and again they seem happy with that regime. Will flush the chem91 tomorrow and begin the General Hydroponics CocoTek bloom A&B. Thick, smelly dense buds ... They are still drying, some off them allready wet trimmed, some of them still attached to the stem, hanging to dry slower ... So can't come up with any numbers. It's a very nice harvest though 🤠

Shes starting to pack on bud now very nicely with lots of frost on all buds

Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

This week was much more exciting due to much more knowledge gathered about what it is I have do. First big issue was that my ph levels were off (about 7) got my ph meter. Calibrated and now can di a proper 6.2. Plants responded right away. Started feeding once per day : - 2ml cal max - 2ml grow - 2ml micro - 1ml bloom These are from Terra Aquatica At the end of the week started to add liquid worm castings as well Found out that my coco is not properly buffered. Since it came in bricks and I added only water, so will add 4ml calmag. The runoff is steady for about 10-20%, except for one plant where its almost 50%. But as plant is the strongest it does not bother me right now. Made some major upgrades to my DIY grow tent and now it’s more comfortable and less stress to plants. And my second light came in so things look pretty good. Unfortently I accidently damaged one of my plants. But as it was the smallest one it didnt looked like it will make it anyway. So will have the opportunity to properly germinate and seed the new one.

This week is going well, steady bud growth and development. Thc looks great and plants one of the girls looks about a month from finishing. Lowered light intensity I have no more space to place the light further away! Plants stressed quite a bit got foxtailing on some of the buds and leaf "canoeing" let's see now how she reacts with less light.

I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Harvest day 73 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. It’s frosty time these bruccies are putting out trichomes like nobodies business!! This update is coming in at around halfway through week 9 as I’ve been very busy recently and haven’t been able to give the girls quite as much attention but boy oh boy are they doing well. Stopped pruning and trimming of any sort, just letting them run their course now. Switched big bud for overdrive, I read online that overdrive is more beneficial for calyx production so hoping they continue to bulk up a bit before I harvest. Was under the impression that autos would be finished by week 11, leaving for a trip around that time so I will be forced to harvest the girls then, regardless of how mature they are. Ideally they would go for another 4 weeks but it is what it is, my first grow and it’s been an enormous learning experience. Just bought some 3 bears OG from the Mephisto restock, super hyped on these. Also hoping to grab a few of their new illuminautos as well when they drop tomorrow. Gotta set my alarm for that!! Really hyped on this upcoming run, learned so much from these bruccies that I’m ready to put into the Mephistos.

11/20 I did quite a bit of feeding last week and her top is getting very heavy. I’m having trouble keeping them standing up. I was going to take down one branch but I think it would cause the other branches to fall so I’m just gonna try and keep balancing them maybe for another week then I’m gonna cut them down. I have three more and another tent. I’m flowering them at between 86 and 90 W with the Mars Hydro lighting seems to do the trick I’ve had the same plant growing I think for over a year now I keep taking clones and then I take another clone. This is the first time I’ve attempted to do that and now I can see. I’m glad that I did because I made up for seeds that I managed to kill along the way. I always blame the seed company and then I find out a year later that it was something I did so I try not to complain too much about that. 11/21 I took down one of the branches yesterday she was giving me trouble. I sent a message to the other ones. I think it helped they really starting to produce now. They’re really starting to fill in now. I could take them down but I want to keep them going maybe two weeks as long as you’re still bulking up I want to keep going and I have one branch that will probably dry down to, a little more than half an ounce. It’s not really big, but it’s pretty nice and considering these were just clones these are branches. If you look early in my other diary, they work great. They’re looking a little crispy from a little too much nutrient I’m gonna give them just some plain water tomorrow and start backing way off on all nutrients. I think they have about another two weeks to go maximum. They’re really filling in nicely if I don’t stress them out they fill-in really good. Should probably get at least a dry ounce off of each of these branches. 11/22/23 I dried one of the branches didn’t get a lot. It’s very nice densely packed. Smells good it’s enough for me. 11/25 Saturday morning. I took a branch this morning. I have two on one plant and three on the other still going. I’ll keep them going if I can if they’re still growing I turned the light down to 89 I don’t really benefit from light that’s too bright toward the end of the grow it just melts the resin it just is not good for them and they seem to go just fine. I have another blackjack clone in another tent that I am going to try and do the whole grow at 93 W with this light so far it’s going just great. I accidentally left it there and if I can do that and not stress it, I might get better plants at lower wattage. 11/26 these three blackjack clones are growing perfectly at 93 W. I can’t believe it. No sign of stress of any kind so I’m gonna keep it at this wattage. Also it keeps the temperature super low. I have the driver outside the tent so it doesn’t make that much difference and one of the pots I didn’t fill up with quite as much soil probably 2 gallons and they still are doing good so blackjacks are very fun to experiment with and it’s a great smoke I have one of the branches drying right now and she seems to get more resins as she’s drying it’s incredible. I have two that are flowering that are just about ready. I overdid the fertilizer so I’m going to do a clean today with the general hydroponics. I got a gallon of the flora clean. I’m going to leave them at 89 W for the rest of the grow that should be good enough. It’s great that I can do this at 89 W. I use the general hydroponics Flora, clean and watered both of them. I did 10 mL per gallon and I did about a gallon and a half. There was a lot of runoff. It was really gross. I have bugs in the soil. I sprayed the bag and the soil for bugs.

So. From the early beginning, this plant was my favourite. So she didn't dissapoint me. If we remember that fact that for last 3 weeks i was taking some every day, overall outcome was still very good. the high is amazing, and the smell is 'something'. I would recommend this strain to everyone if you are thinking to get one.
