Hi Growmies, thanks for stopping by this week for another HighCloudz update ✌️ The plant has been busy growing buds and now they are not only growing in number but in size as well! The top buds are growing bigger by the day, and underneath the canopy the smaller side branches are also forming many buds. The smell is amazing. It's a bit less pepper and more sweet tones at the moment, but boy I'm excited about this terpene profile 👌 Some of the top leafs are looking tarnished because of the nitrogen burn, but luckily there are still many healthy leafs left to prevent any stagnation in growth. All 3 of these look good, some variations in structure 2 of them had much more stretch than the other one. Pumped for these ones. Everything is healthy as it could be right now. The heater made such a big difference I couldn't be happier with how these are growing at this point hopefully it keeps up. Been removing fan leaves here and there but I'm trying to hold off until day 21 and I might give them all a pretty heavy leaf strip. I read something saying defoliate heavy on day 21 and 42 to increase yields so I might give that a shot. These lights are the real deal I got a meter and even tho I barely know how to read it I'm getting much better canopy penetration and the flexibility of having 4 separate units instead of 2 is going to come in handy. Soon I will put all the shorter plants on one side and tall on the other and adjust the lights accordingly. Most important to note from this week: Even a small dose of cal mag to plants 3 and 6 slightly stunted growth. There seems to be a lot of nutrients in this soil which might be why the added cal mag slowed growth and showed very dark leaves (too much nitrogen from the cal mag). I am using RO water so thought that cal mag would help but didn't. PH in correct range along with recharge and silica really calls for no nuts in this soil! Transplanted to 1 gallon pot with Ocean Forest soil on days 16 and 17. Still only using recharge and silica w/ no extra nutrients. I did add 2ml of cal mag to the plant with light spotting which seemed to help slightly by day 20. All ph ranges are right at about 6.5. I found that watering at 6.7 with a low ppm water brings me to a good ph range for this soil. No signs of deficiency so no extra nutrients for now. Average relative humidity slightly lowered to 60%. I'm paying attention to light distance and power closely to keep ppfm in 300-400 range. 2 plants did not make it. I believe due to overwatering. 5 white widows left I performed LST on Day 21. Plants are short and bushy so I felt no need to top. LST combined with scrog is the plan.

Week has been good. I'm not sure about the ppm and salt around roots, they are a little brown. Wounder if I should flush them and start again with nutrient? And see some of the last picture, it's pretty thigth between the leaf and buds, should I but some of the leaf? Ppm 1400-1600 Temp 22 to 31 Temp in water 20-26 Humidity 50-60%

20.4. - Happy 420 everyone! ☘️ I'm starting the second week of full bloom and plants are looking almost perfect. I've removed Bio Grow from the mix and added more Bud Candy and Cal-Mag, I hope that plants will like it. ✌️ 21.4. - Watered 💧 23.4. - Seems that plants are okay with the new mix and upped amount of water per plant 😎 Watered 💧 26.4. - Week wrap-up: Plants are thriving, however Jack and Lemon are getting a bit yellow. Week 8

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and looking like this will be the last week for this girl. Gonna let her dry up and may do a partial harvest in the middle of the week and let some of the smaller buds build up before chopping the rest over the weekend. Not sure yet though. Day 65 Harvest Day - This girl turned 50/50, cloudy to amber overnight and most leaves are consumed with cal-mag deficiency so decided to do a chop and save what I can. Looks like it’s still gonna be a decent harvest. Chopped her down tonight and started trimming but will finish tomorrow and get a total wet weight. Even most of the tiny nugs at the bottom are pretty dense.

Flowers beautiful flowers! 🌺 to start of dynomyco has really done it’s job with the purple urkle and she already in bloom and is nearly to the second scrog, the grape ape has ONLY just started her stretch as she’s right at the first scrog about to push through as she only just pushed pistols today and I’m putting that down to her healing through transitioning as I had to trim her leaves and lower stems during transition as they’d be a problem later on! But all in all a great week and on my way to a great flowering!

D57/FD29 - Thing going grand with the Cookies so far (enjoying growing these Cookie Based Strains). Smell from it is divine! Touch a stem and its a lovely citrus smell left on you for ages! Noted in a previous comment, like a perfect sweetness, fresh lemonade. You'd wear it as an aftershave alright even!!! :P They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at what would be recommended strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea this late in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geeklight also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant too and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator (and hopefully UVB Tube) and great to see them honouring the Warranty. RHC Seems to be flowering nicely as can been seen from the pics. Stacking well, buds coming along. Slight pinkish tip to the pistils on some buds but not the shocking pink as you'd see in the sales pics...hopefully it goes there though! Also noticing a bit of an early frost on a few flowers...like real good frost! And this is only day 1 of week 5 (I know, I do this diary arse about face)!!! Hoping Geeklight get this driver control board and longer cables to me quick so as I can get the driver out of the tent as I'd really like to get the UVB in there to frost them up in a week or 2!!! May only be getting about 9" clearance though so dunno, could be dangerous!!! 12" is the lowest recommended...but then, I could do the 15 min burst lighting (On 15, off 45 min every hour) so lower the risk of burn but get them more exposure (but lowers the lifetime of the tube). They get UVA from the LED's on the light at the moment for a 1/3 of the day and have been since early veg so should be hardened to it by now!!! Anyway, think that's enough s**te chatted by me!!! So fat banana finally got the chop. Started off well then had an influx of heat around mid flower, not a major problem as I dealt with it, just could have gone smoother. She flew through veg with no problems or complaints whatsoever. She was resilient and would grow her again. She smells so loud, covered in frost.. I have a few more pictures of the chop to upload but will do it in a little while. Such a unique scent from her, definitely tropical and banana peel type of aroma and taste(from test smoke). Been a pleasure to grow and can honestly say its some tasty smoke. Will do a proper smoke report after this batch has dried and then cured. Thanks for tuning in! Will be back -FlavoursUk
