Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! 6 week of flowering

Just picked up my seeds off my buddy. He had them under a light for 6 weeks and their looking great. Moved them outside and they didn’t seem to be too shocked from the adjustment. Getting about 7 hours of direct sun then some indirect sun but mostly shade after that. Gonna top, prune, and move to bigger pots soon

Entering the final stage of this run.. in other words, late flowering. Just giving 1600ml of RO water enriched with Ca and Mg. Guess I will feed a last time with Enhancer and Green Power tomorrow.

Filter sock clogged up again, I just took the whole filter off, I'm not worried about the smell as it's outside in my shed anyway. Still warm and dry out this week, humidifier barely lasts 24 hours and that's just to keep the RH above 40. Trichs developing nicely, few more weeks to go for sure.

10/13 Day 15 and one week in the large pots. Still no need of watering not concerned as the pots are reasonably fertile, right now they are busy building roots which is just fine. Veg growth will increase just any time now. 10/15 First Watering/feed since transplant a week ago Fish Sh!T 5ml / Cal-Mag 5ml per gal @ 6.1 ph Each got 0.5 gal though I fear some over watering is unavoidable this time think only Maggie is showing the symptoms. 10/16 Explosive growth, more than an inch on Layla and the others are getting it together. May be getting a handle on this. 10/19 The uptick in Brandy and Maggie was not to continue and they worsened making an attempt to fix the issue with a 6.1 PH root drench of Cal-Mag 5ml and Kangaroots 10ml / gal about 2 gal for each plenty of runoff that tested at 6.1 PH. Layla looking great watering tomorrow 10/20 Update Made a spray of 6.5ph water with one tbs / gal Epson Salts and really soaked the leaves of both plants in attempt to help these poor guys, know a new week is due will get to it later 10/21 update When pots dry a bit using a solution of one cup hydrogen peroxide to one gal of 6.5 ph water (lowering ph has done nothing so going back to middle of the road) using as foliar spray as well, not sure if waiting on pots to dry first is called for here so yall chip in if you wish

Weeks 14 thru 16 I had to eliminate my other 2 plants(too strong of an oder). But after drying out had 1400grams from both plants. This one that’s left smells like diesel gas??, and the buds are turning rust colored? Is this normal for NL#5XHAZE My other 2 didn’t have these charactoristics. Not giving her any nutruents…just plain ole water. She’s at 16 1/2 weeks and growing fat fast now that the other 2 are gone, all of the sun for her. Hope I can wait until the end of the month before harvesting…but, I don’t know😅

This is my last day before chop. Flushed for 2 weeks then 48 hours of total darkness. Really sweet sour aroma coming from the GG and a almost cookies smell coming from the gelato. Will let you know the full yield once dried and cured. But not to bad for my first grow 🔥

Vamos familia, actualizamos la quinta semana de floración de estas Gelato 44 de RoyalQueenSeeds. La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos. En cuanto a las plantas las veo verde sano, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también. Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta cubre todas las necesidades de cada ejemplar, empecé añadir el mega pk y el Thor. Las flores empezaron a engordar, por el momento todo correcto, os dejé también alguna novedad y un cambio en la sala, agradecer al equipo de Mars hydro por el nuevo TSW2000. 9/8/2024 day 1 of veg. looking happy and healthy. im dealing with fungus gnats from other plants in the tent. i think the peat pellet wrapping is keeping them from damaging the young roots at the moment. im using diatomaceous earth in an attempt to keep them at bay. 9/11 day 4 theyre starting to show small differences. excited to see where these 9/12 so far im noticing one plant that stands out from the rest. she has longer petioles than the rest and seems taller and lankier. its still early on though so hard to say anything yet for

The girls are coming out of their second topping very well. I will increase their fertilizer going forward as they are taking their current level with flying colors. I was very careful with the identification of my seeds through planting, and yet I am concerned a couple may be mislabeled. I will continue the investigation. lol

Week 2 Needed to pop more seeds. I will make the count next week and see which phenotypes are the best to select to grow. Some batch of seeds didn’t sprout at all, i.e: AK. Super Skunk only 1/3. Spliff Strawberry sprouted after 1 week in cotton when I was about to give up counting on them.... this is why it’s always better to pop more seeds than expected to grow ! This isn’t the best start, but things shall go back to normal in a couple of weeks. The fan is on speed 1 and not blowing directly on the seedlings. The Mars-Hydro LED is definitely an excellent light for growing Cannabis when you keep it at the right distance. Cellmax BIO soil is perfect, no need to start in plugs you can directly put the germinated seeds in the soil without being worried about the nutrients and the EC/mS. Let’s see next week how it goes. (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control)
