Joa, die Gelato ist super stable. Gebrochener Hauptstamm. Egal. 2 mal, auch egal. Sie ignoriert es einfach. 😍 Sensi Seeds Good looking girl. Duftet hervorragend. Aus dem zelt kommt eun frischer Bananen angehauchter treibhausduft. Sehr angenehm.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Such a beautiful beast! Hybrid of beauty and the beast! What you know about rolling down in the deep 👽 this girl is superb! She popped up first flowered first and is now forming fat frosty flavour filled batons. The smell is a dream, getting some tropical scents flowing off her! Opening my tent is like opening the doors to Willy wonka factory! I’ll begin to lower the humidity in the final few weeks! Loving how all my anxiety in the past had me keep it at 50% but now I see I can be comfortable with a little more as I’ve seen some people at 83% near the end but I won’t be doing that! Grand Daddy Purple auto is doing good. She has acclimated, and started make some good growth. The spots on the tip of the leaves never spread. So that was good. Everything has been looking really good. Nothing more to report at the moment. 3rd week of 12/12, all is well. The flowers have already a lot of trichromes. I add the Athena KP on the 23rd day of 12/12, in two days. I made a defoliation, it breathes, it grows... With the pythium I had growing, it slowed my stretch, with so much growth, it should have been more important. See you on the 28th day of 12/12

Still no flowers, foliar calmag, silicate, proroots. Still problems with Calcium. Matterhorn is unstable genetics!

She has not picked up in the last few weeks and she’s not recovering with more signs of deficiency it’s evident that she never made it but I will bloom her and try again with her in the near future. She must have some kind of infection I’m not sure if there is root damage but hey I really tried 😏

Still going like a tank. Slowed down slightly as i broke 2 branches training her but the branches have almost healed and shes bouncing back! Well happy with how its going, going to give her 2 more weeks veg. Any tips on getting her out of the 15l pot into the 20l flower pot?? Ive never transplanted anything this big cheers folks

* ********* Week 3, April 25 to May 1, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination ********** * So we have been chugging along and doing well. Keeping the feeds in check and not given any waterings over 6.0pH before this week. By mid week when checking runoff numbers found they were flipping 7.2pH!!!!!! What is shooting up the numbers so high?? They were given some Epsom salt and not sure if they have been given too much magnesium. Wondering if it could be the pots? Watering patterns have not changed? Cut slits in the bottom of all the fabric pots to help with drainage and see if moisture is sitting in the bottom of the pot causing issues with pH??? They are doing well but not at the same time.....GSC girls seem a little show in veg growth at this stage. Little more detail....... April 25/20 - Day 15 - Mixed 1L of water with Vitathrive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 700ppm and 6.0pH. - each girl given 0.5L feed. - humidity a little low at 52% and bumping up to 65% - light heights at 30” roughly right now. - GSC outer edges of leaves getting a little light. - GSC2 is forming a nice structure and new leaves are wider. April 26/20 - Day 16 - no real growth and the girls don’t look happy.......not sure of the issue? - mixed 2L water with Sensi CalMag @ 1.5ml. Sensyzime @ 2ml, Epsom Salt @ 1/4 tsp/L - GSC fighting magnesium deficiency so adding Epsom Salt, - increased light intensity a bit today. April 27/20 - Day 17 - dry out day - think the root zone is holding too much moisture and causing pH issue. - cut long slits in the bottom of the pots to let moisture run out faster/easier. - GSC has liked the increased lighting. - all the girls got clockwise rotation today. April 28/20 - Day 18 - Girl Scout girls given 3L watering with Vitrathrive @ 1.5ml = 100ppm and 5.1pH - runoff numbers: - GSC - 600ppm and 7.2pH - GSC2 - 475ppm and 7.2pH - pH is still too high!!!! - leaf colours on all the girls look good😳 April 29/20 - Day 19 - more runoff numbers to look at - Mixed 8L for each girl with Dual Fual @ 1.75ml - 325ppm and 5.0pH........each girl given this amount!!!! - Run off numbers: - GSC - in tray before feed was 7.2pH, brought down the pH to 7.0 and 525ppm - GSC2 - in tray before feed was 7.2pH, brought down the pH to 7.0 and 500ppm - now we see if the flush will help in the next couple of days. April 30/20 - Day 20 - dry out day - stems are looking thicker today. All nodes are separating and they are growing.......slowly though. May 1/20 - Day 21 - dry out day again - need to let the pots dry out in order to adjust the pH further. - they are looking taller and happier today. Sorry for running behind gang. Always so much to stay on top of😀........
