I hung all the branches upside down in the closet. Thanks to the help of an air conditioner I keep the temperature at 23C and the humidity at 50%. When after a bending the branches will break (prematurely bend) then the drying will be complete and the tanning phase will begin. Initially I had problems with Ca and Mg deficiency, in fact the plant has grown less than the other, but I am still satisfied with the result. I usually don't weight buds when they are wet because it's just a waste of time. When they are dry I will update the diary with the precise weight. PS the same day I harvested my country rejected the decriminalization of cultivation of weed (referendum of popular origin). This was a week. The drama at the beginning was one of the fans falling down onto my gorilla cookies. It snapped a branch off really bad but the girl hung onto it by threads. I duct taped her up and somehow took. 😎😢 I defoliated and did a little lst on a couple of the girls. Nothing major. Also increased the light to 80% now. I think I'll stay there until late flower when I switch to 12/12. I also added blocks to a couple of the girls to make the canopy level. That put the light at 15" as recommended by Medic Grow. Purple Lemonade is slowly making a comeback. I will say, even though the buds are small and the plant has struggled, the smell is already there. Which excites me. The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Passive intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - Thermo/Hygro meter

Planted 2 weeks after my other Plant and it already the Same size as all them growing like a champ. I know I need more soil.

This week, the Diamond Handz by Square One Genetics got........well sticky. She is frosting up nicely and smells like sweet candy. I am surprised by the stacking on these main branches 😃. There is not much to do for her as she has received her last feed already. All that is needed is wellness checks and watering.....I do not mind being in the Tent as the smells are soooooooooo Damn good 😏. I also tend to pluck out any yellowing or dying leaves until the end of flower!

Flowering is in full effect and things are starting to get sticky. The strawberry gorilla has not streched much so i raised her to keep up with the tropicana cookies. She has grown so high that my light is now all the way up in the tent and cant go higher. Unfortunately she is showing leave deficiency which, i think, is ph lock out or overfeeding. Decided to flush her with TA Flash clean and go on from here. Nevertheless she is growing awesome buds, and god the purple colours are amazing 🤩😍

Man oh man the gp x bkp is taking off like a champ and filling out very nicely now that she's starting to flower 🌼 🌸!!!!! Gp x shb is starting to come back finally and is about to start flowering smells like straight up sour d already!! The gp x bkp is smelling like skunk and fruit I'm super excited for these strains especially after seeing somebody went and tested a few of wicked genetics strains and all of them came out to be 23%thc-27%thc !!! Fricken pumped gary payton is supposed to be a heavy hitter so I cannot freakin wait until both of these are finished

Heeey all! Sorry for the huge amount of photos but this week was crazy. So many things happened and my lack of knowledge clearly showed up. I ended stressing one of my plants for no reason! 😱 At the start of the week everything was normal until I noticed that one of Roko's buds looked weird. It seemed to be too dry and orange for my tastes and I didn't know what it was. Obviously I started to ask around and I got so many mixed messages haha. Some people said it was nothing and I should not worry about it and others said they were 100% sure it was botrytis or budrot... aaaaaaaand I got paranoid lol. 😵😨 At first I tried to keep calm and ignore it for one day but the next one the bud looked even worse and that's when I feared the worst. What if it's really budrot? In general the values I write in here are approximates or an average of the week.. and usually my tent never goes over 60% of RH (in the dark it stays between 50% to 60% when I water them and on some rare occasions it reaches 65%). This time, after I checked the thermometer it said "75% of RH" but I did not know if it was during their sleep time or maybe some time after the lights went on) so once again I feared the worst! What if the plants stayed all the night with that amount of RH? Was that enough time for them to develop budrot? What if it's still nothing? Yikes. 😭 I had to do something and I did, I wasn't going to risk everything! I started removing the worst looking leaf to see if there was anything mushy or ugly between it and the pistils but I didn't see anything (maybe I was safe and that was something else? Or maybe the budrot was even deeper and I could not see it?) After reading I realized that the best idea was to cut the bud in half and then slice it to "see" if there was anything inside... so I did it and absolutely nothing showed up 😖! Those were good news! Sadly tho the poor plant had to go thru some stress after cutting that bud in half (at least from what I saw the insides were tightly packed and the photos showed some really cool stuff) The rest of the week was uneventful (compared to what I feared haha) and some leaves started to change even more in color (I love it). I think I'll start with the flush next week or the one after that one. There are some amber trichomes...! Thanks all for checking my diary! Hopefully you'll all find the pictures interesting! PD: None of the plants have seeds in them, even when one of the sliced buds seemed to be making them!

She is just on cruise control, receiving 1ml/l cal mag bi-weekly. She seems to be happy and she is growing beautiful frosty buds.

Week twenty-two is officially done on the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. This week is a turning point, marking the end of vegetative growth and the start of the flowering transition. I decided to switch the light cycle to twelve-twelve. Initially, the plan was to wait for a stronger recovery, but the reality is simple: it wasn’t happening. The plant was given roughly three full weeks to acclimate after stress, and the response stayed limited. Rather than staying stuck in an endless waiting phase, I chose to move forward. This means accepting that flowering may not be extremely vigorous or high-energy. That’s fine. This run is also about observation, learning, and adapting. Flowering was initiated gently, at around three hundred PPFD, to avoid adding more stress. At the same time, I switched the nutrient program to Athena bloom and adjusted the recipe accordingly. The plant has now been under flowering conditions for about twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Over the coming week, I expect to see the first signs of stretch. It’s a bit frustrating, because structurally the plant was doing really well. The LST work created a clean, balanced canopy, and the potential was clearly there. Now the focus is simple. No rushing. No over-correction. Just letting the plant transition naturally into flower and observing how she reacts. Next week will officially mark the first true week of flowering. From there, we’ll reassess posture, stretch, and overall vitality. For now, the plant is left alone to settle into its new rhythm. That’s it for week twenty-two. See you next week.
