Woche 5 03.08.24 - 10.08.24 Das Wachstum geht ungehindert weiter....! Diesmal konnte ich leider keine Fotos machen, da ich in der Woche wenig nach den Pflanzen schauen konnte. Dafür kleine Zeitraffervideos von der Zeltkamera. Die Pflanzen zeigen leichte Anzeichen einer Überdüngung. Daher wurde diese Woche nur bei jeder zweiten bis dritten Bewässerung gedüngt. Außerdem wurde die Beleuchtung umgestellt von der Lumii auf 2x Sanlight Evo 120er da sie endlich nach mehrmonatiger Verspätung angekommen sind. Die Werte Temperatur, Luftfeuchtigkeit und VPD füge ich nachträglich noch ein. Die Behandlung mit dem Neemöl bringt leichte Besserung. Ab Montag kommen noch Nematoden zusätzlich mit in die Box, da ich ab jetzt nicht mehr das Neemöl benutzen möchte aufgrund der langsam voranschreitenden Blüten.

At the start of the week these plants were trimmed. They are being prepared for the flowering stage. Then at the end of the week, they were fed one last time with Gonzo Farms - GROW, as a nutrient tea. Then, the lights were set to a 12/12 light schedule to set the plants into flowering. They were also treated with neem oil to combat fungus gnats.

So this was my First Grow ! I am happy with the results- yes it didn’t yield alot only 40grams (1 plant). The buds arent so dense maybe cause of the strain or maybe the light - the overall color of the flowers is very stunning. The purple hue is simply special and unique. During the grow the temperature was getting too high sometimes reaching 30 celcius :/ this could be the result that affected the yield - in this grow I didn’t gave the plant alot of nutrients since I didn’t want to over feed and ruin my first grow. Also during drying I decided to switch on my dehumidifier and caused the temperature in my room to increase around 27 celcius and humidity down to 45% ( yes its alot ). And so it caused the buds to dry quickly ( yes its bad ) another step i Did is Curing , there is a picture of the jar. I am keeping the humidity in the jar around 55% to 65% keeping it in a dark place. And so Yes - For sure there is room for improvement. Overall i enjoyed growing this strain and definitely i will be growing it again in the future. 💜💨

Hey now! So after 8 days of drying, and 6 days of curing, I just tried the Sour Diesel in a glass water pipe, and she is freaking amazing. She burns nice and slow, with thick clouds of smoke, and tastes exactly like she should, like a sour/citrus/fuel with a very nice aftertaste. I ended up with less than 20% of wet weight, but I am so ecstatic with the quality, I could freaking care less! I have a fantasy football draft on Saturday night, and I can't wait for the rest of my league to sample her! I had so much fun with this grow, from constructing the watering/draining system, to learning more about photography and video, to meeting everyone in this community, and finally to smoking Nugs that I actually grew! 8/6/21: Harvest Day!! We'll update the week to "harvest" once everything is dried..My camera scope broke somehow so we're back to using cheap jewelers loupes for now but trichs look completely milky, a few amber spots closer the bud's base, we didn't flush as long as we wanted but I felt it was good to get her chopped down before the heatwave and space is becoming a real issue again... we dry in cardboard boxes, in a room controlled to 65F...we don't usually get bud weights, as its all for personal use but ill try my hardest to get an accurate dry weight before my husband smokes it all lol...Thank you for reading and happy growing everyone! 😽❤️💡🌱

Well they have been on 12/12 for 2 days now, this evening they began their 3rd day of flowering. They need a good defoliation. I’m feeling very overwhelmed by the canopy density, because my screen has such small spacing, all the vegetation in the middle is very tightly packed. No major issues. Making sure to keep my ph in check and I dismounted my fan from it’s stand and zip tied it to one of the tent supports. Hopefully everything continues in the right direction! Oct 3 The stretch is on. These girls look great. I’m going to be feeding them tomorrow. They have filled in quite nicely from their last defoliation and I need to do another. I’ve tucked a number of leaves I should have clipped but I didn’t. I will have to do it soon. My dog, Slade, was being a suck tonight so I let him downstairs with me.

(UPDATE- Apple Strudel got the chop on Day 72) Week 10 starts on Thursday so I'm jumping the gun by a couple of days in terms of uploading as I'm going away. Things are coming along nicely with the Apple Strudel, I can just smell sweet creamy scent with a bit of apple and funnily enough it smells a bit like the old cheese strain from about 20 years ago, very unique, I like it .😁👌🏻 Some purple colours are starting to show too, trichomes are 80/20 cloudy/clear. I'm going to give her another week then she's getting the chop. Will update further once harvested and dried. Its week 7. I clicked germination on accident. Last week of veg. About to move them to a flowering room. I cut about the bottom 20% off. I am gonna scrog and the bottom wont recieve any light.

Ooohhhweee! This is a pretty plant! Perfect bud structure, great resin production, and the terps are sweet abnd earthy. One of my favs in the tent right now! ✌️🏻💚

The flood table is just rocking, all plants are healthy as can be and the lights are hitting thousands of growth sites. Will be a good harvest if all stays the same for 6 weeks. Temps and humidity were a struggle this week, but back in check now. Girls are stretched out, finished their vertical growth at F22 and have now maxed out the Scroggernaut headrooom. Upped the feed to include a bit of bud booster to use through week 7 or so. Started at quarter strength and will slowly increase. The crystals are starting to POP!! Beautiful strain, grow it!

Welcome to my second grow of the Do-si-dos strain. This girl was veg'd for 14 week in a small pot while my first grow of this strain is in the flowering room. She didn't gain much more in size, despite the extra veg time, probably due to lower levels of nutes and the smaller pot size. Still she's looking good after moving her to the big pot and giving her a trim. Thanks for checking out my grows!
