Seems like I will be growing one this round. Veg for a lil longer, spread out the canopy, two trellis’ and prolly finish in 15 gallon pots.
Two derpy runts haven’t move much in 24hrs. Treated them all the same. Under one T5 LED for now.

One is a champ compared to the two other derpy looking ones, not much growth after the cotyledons. It is what it is. Grow one this round and train it til it covers the canopy…maybe try out that flux technique and finish in a 15 gallon pot.

Seed soaked 2 Mafia Candy overnight in some Zeus Juice (fulvic), paper towel for 48hrs and tap root finally popped but I’m impatient and thought they were duds so I soaked another two last night and waiting for them taproots now…looks like imma grow 4 this run (if they all make it).
Two seeds with taproot: into peat pellets sprinkled with VAM (mycos), into soil and now I just sit back and pray.
Maybe I’ll just let them grow. No topping, no training. Veg for a few weeks and flip. We’ll see how it goes.

Woohoo. Seeds finally arrived after like a month, usps is slow.
My man RightHemisphere.Genetics hooked me up with some breeder seeds and his own creation Mafia Candy (fem).
Soil has been cooking for 30+ days. OneShot, worm castings, biochar, oyster shell, bone meal blah blah blah. Just a few more times with this ‘style’ of growing and will switch to something easier and simpler cuz growing with Nectar is just too crazy.
Gonna pop 2 Mafia Candy soon, just gotta figure out timing as I’ll be away for a week in Dec and might not be able to find a plant sitter….
Will be updating the diary with more pics when they pop.

And the run begins. Seed soaked on Dec 1 ….3 out of 4 made it. One is a champ, the other two are runts. Might toss the weakest one. Will give another to a friend and grow one, veg for a little longer and train to fill out the 2x4 tent.
@Sparkles yes I purchase some thai landrace seeds and some Idukki seeds from them
about 2 years ago wasn't the best germination rate from those I tried to grow
Hi everyone. Welcome back to another fun filled week of my best grow ever (I hope).
Most pics are ~20 days since seed soak.
• Tossed the littlest runt.
• Swapped out the T5 LEDs to my spare 120w quantum board a few days ago.
• Foliar sprayed with seaweed, magnesium, silica and fulvic 36hrs before micro-topping the bigger plant today.
Will wait for the smaller plant to show some more vigor and prolly do the same….maybe I will just let it grow out naturally. I’m still undecided.
Might try fluxing the big one, looks like a fun way of growing. I’m still undecided….

Moved them into slightly bigger pots. Root ball is tight, should’ve moved them sooner but was busy with holidays. They will be a little happier now and ready for training.

Apologies for the late update and not replying to recent comments. Was away on vacation for a week and life has been hectic. Back in the swing of things now I think.
One seed soaked on Dec 1. Another seed soaked on Dec 2.
Finally got the tent up and equipment in. And got off my lazy ass and transplanted the plants today (Jan 13) into their 10 gallon forever homes, I put about a 1 gallon layer of supersized perlite on the bottom of the pot for better aeration. Soil is charged and ready to go with lots of OneShot and mycos in the potting hole, I’m thinking 4-5 weeks of just ph’d water with minimal additives and a few instant microbe teas then start the Nectar craziness before flip and into bloom.
First time fluxing! Got two stems trained out and gonna aim for at least 12-14 fat juicy colas per plant :)

Welcome back to another week. Both plants are doing great and showing lots of vigor. Was doing ph’d water with silicic acid the past week, decided to give some nectar today and will follow up with a tea.
Looks like I’m gonna grow one plant this run.
I think plant on the left is a male, I don’t see any pistils on it…fuuhk. I’ll give it a week and keep an eye on it and will pull it if it is. Will reuse the soil (I just transplanted them a week ago into 10 gallon amended peat, would be a shame to toss it) and prolly mix a bag of coco.
Plant on the right is a definite female (lots of calyx and pistils). Was micro-topped on each end a few days ago to finish the flux, before I noticed balls, for a total of 16 main stems and maybe 20-22 colas now. Gonna grow it out and give it 2x the love.
And shit I gotta update my other diary. I’ll get to it soon :)

2 weeks after transplant….lots of growth and I think a tiny calcium deficiency on two leaves. Past two waterings have been full strength nutes with extra Demeter’s (calcium) and MagAmped (mag). Seems to be alright now as I haven’t noticed the issue spreading.
Removed most of the side shoots from the branches and will defol in a few days.
Male plant is still going strong. Haven’t been giving it any love at all. Gonna toss it soon :(

Welcome back to another week of my first flux….looked like fun so I did it to see if I could actually do it. A few things I would do differently next time (if I only grow one plant) but for the most part it’s coming along alright.
Dec 1 - soaked 4 (fem) seeds. 2 didn’t make it.
Jan 13 - transplanted 2 plants to 10 gallon pots. Found out one was a male so I tossed it and now left with one plant. Felt kinda bad, could’ve grown some seeds and plant them around the local police station :)
Feb 1 - fuck you fungus gnat…I saw and killed one, placed some sticky traps cuz I’m paranoid. Feeding heavy now, grabbed 2 cuttings that I purposely grew out and now left with 16 sweet stems and future colas. Training is pretty much done, trimmed off all side shoots and defoliated. Will let it go vertical for a bit, pop in a trellis and flip Feb 14….
Feb 2 - Full strength insect frass tea (1/2 cup per gallon). Will prolly brew some Bti into my weekly teas and maybe into my feeds. Sticky traps caught a couple of fungus gnats.
Shiet, 2.5 months of veg…ah well, I’m learning a lot and it’s been fun so far, glad I got a 10 gallon pot. Can’t wait to see how she does in flower.

Forget manifolding :P fluxing is where it’s at. One plant isn’t so bad, two or more plants would be too much work cuz I’m just lazy. Would’ve vegged a lil longer but dunno if the 10gallon pot can take a 10+ week veg….I was supposed to have two plants but one was a male so I tossed it. I think I may just grow one monster plant in a 15 gallon pot for my next run.
Lights are running at 95% and 6” away…she’s drinking a lot, been watering 2 gallons every 48hrs the past 2-3 weeks and I’m feeding hard.

Welcome back to my weekly flex. She’s starting to smell! and she drinks a lot, I’m back at my old routine…one day 1.5 gallons and .5 gallons 24hrs later. She starts to wilt if I go more than 36hrs. Switched to bloom feed and still top dressing with bokashi, OneShot and worm castings (will stop top dressing end of this week and give her a trim). Buds are forming nicely, lights are at about 90% and 8” away from canopy….I hope 10 gallons is enough for her to finish.

Half way to the finish line and things are starting to smell real dank. Trichomes are oozing and sparkling and my pics aren’t doing it any justice. It takes a special skill to breed stuff like this. Even tho I got a male (which I tossed) and a few runts (which I also tossed) I’m proud I’m able to grow this so far.
A few more full feedings and will start ripening.
Lights are at like 75% and ~18” away. This is only my second run with these lights…I’m still learning and got a ways to go.

Damnit I got soil mites. I guess now the weather is getting warmer I’ll have to deal with pests. Was hesitant but decided to soil drench a couple of times with CannControl to try to keep their numbers down. Plant is looking fine so I’m not too worried.
Now time to ripen, lowering feeds, almost at the finish line.
My place smells so good when the tent is open. I love it.

My best run yet. She’s absolutely caked and was a pleasure to grow. I didn’t bother weighing cuz I’m lazy but I’m guessing maybe 1/2pound of top buds, 1/2pound small-med sized nugs and a lot of popcorn and trim for butter. Will be curing for at least a couple of weeks and will update with a smoke report
