Week 10 veg CRAZY MUTATIONS! the clones are doing awsome! We are having lots of crazy growth too. These monster cropped clones are growing spiratic bud sits and only 3 out of the 9 plants have five pint fan leaves, all the others are 3 points.. pretty cool! Cheers everyone! -G.I.JOSE

The girls are ready soon! Leaves of the Royal Gorilla are completely yellow, don't know why but I think it's because it's time to harvest. Take a look at the trichomes, I'm waiting for a few more amber ones. How many days should I let them live? These were all pretty Uniform in height and weight even with #3 being replanted 2 weeks in, lots of Haze smell diesel and pungent on the front end and some sweet at the tail, I should of let these go a few more weeks I think it would be better. I have read and have heard that the flowering time the breeders recommend is based on a 1000w set up. and light plays an important roll in yield as far as flowering goes Its all about time. and maybe next time I will grow these to a more perfect pant. but this round as a grower I give myself a 6 out of 10 got some buds to some and turned the trim and larf to hash, not a huge return and the Trichomes were mainly in the 25 micron range with a minimal amount in the 76 micron bag. so My thinking is that these were all small and under developed trichomes, this leans into my theory that they could have gone another 3 or for weeks, Failure has been my greatest teacher and I really enjoy this hobby. Next grow will be an Organic Dry Amendment Auto Flower with new lights no more Blurple import lights. I got my 1st vaccine shot. hope you all are staying safe and lifted. Sex has started to show on most phenos. I have yet to see male parts on any of the five plants. I do have one that has been behind the whole time that has yet to show. I do see 4 girls so far. I have changed from a transition nutrient mix to a stronger flower mix this week. I will wait another week or so before I do a serious leaf strip and trim. Once that is complete I will throw in a trellis net.Well it is the end of the week and I have not seen male flower at all on any one of the five. A perfect 5 for 5 on this batch. I will keep a close eye for random male parts as these are testers. I have one that is by far slower than all the rest, she is short and not very stinky. A couple of the phenos are starting to stretch before the others. Nothing unmanageable at the moment.

An interesting discovery was made with this plant’s pot, I observed how having a row lesser of drainage drastically effected how I water this lady. Her grow medium swamps up if I maintain a 1lt daily water schedule, which would result in drowning the roots, luckily my grow medium has sponges up when wet, allow the slow irrigation to take place to avoid root rot. Luckily it’s spring time and in Mzansi(South Africa) it is hot enough to push my greenhouse’ temperature higher than the outdoor temperature, to encourage some form of evaporation and humidity, next week I will add pictures of the thermometers, and you can see the drastic difference in temperature.

Hey everyone ☺️. After 60 hours, the lady's case was already open :-). Today the seed was placed in soil :-). I only use the soil for cultivation because I have it left and it has to go slowly :-). When repotting, it comes in Canna Coco 👍. I watered the soil with some Canna Rizotonic before the seeds got 1 cm under the soil :-). After that, the pot was placed under a hood in which I sprayed clay every day so that the humidity is between 80-90%. I do this for the first few days until the head looks out of the earth. From this point on, I open the hood at the upper opening bit by bit every few days so that you can slowly get used to 65% humidity before the hood comes down. It is also only poured when the roots are right, until then the earth is sprayed. Which training I will use I will decide spontaneously when the time comes :-). I decided to place in the tent after 6 weeks. I did LST as well. So it will be half outdoor half indoor. Basically I planted a Auto outside but I can see it ain't gonna be a good yielder. So I should wait till autumn and also that time there is much less sun so I would not have nothing on it. I dont wanna take a risk for nothing so better to boost artificially and have better yield. Day 46: I needed to.cut back she was wilt stressed in the new environment. I removed almost all the fan leaves.

Day 65, 14th of November 2020: This plant man.... I am shocked lol... I created a form of art i think look at the main stalk how it is twisted. That's nothing really compare hoe she streches and grows so crazy. Actually she can not hold her own side branches I needed to tie them together.... Beautiful lady guys... she is... Pre flowers out all good.... check out... Fertilization happens every 2nd day with the ratio and mix above. I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so she receives 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when she will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week....

Buenas cultivetas! Esta semana el clima tampoco ayudó mucho 😞 A pesar de que no llovio, se esperan lluvias los proximos dias y las temperaturas aun no son las adecuadas. Solo tuve 2 o 3 dias a pleno sol. De todas formas seguimos con los nutrientes de vegetacion el preventivo de plagas una vez por semana con jabon potasico, aceite de neem y canela en una solucion liquida. A pesar del preventivo sigo encontrando algunos bichos que muestro en un video. La tecnica deLST parece estar saliendo bien. Espero no estresarla mucho y que de buenos resultados. Buen cultivo para todos y gracias por leer mi diario! Actualización 5/10: Tengo algunos vecinos gatos que les encanta sacar el sustrato de mis macetas... Por suerte no han desprendido la planta pero casi... Las acomode de nuevo y parecen estar bien. No tuve mucha suerte con este cultivo sumado a mi falta de experiencia.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht.
