The flowering phase is progressing beautifully, with the buds getting bigger and frostier day by day. 🌸✨ We've started to see the formation of orange hairs, which is a promising sign of the buds maturing. The plants are looking healthy and vibrant, and the SCROG net is helping to keep everything well-supported and evenly exposed to light. Humidity issues from last week are still being monitored, and we're considering adding a dehumidifier to ensure optimal conditions as we move closer to harvest. I have added a new light and am going to try a super soil grow for the first time. I have a Mephisto Genetics Double Grape between paper towels and waiting to sprout. The space is about 18 inches by 24 inches. The ceiling slopes down, so I don't have much room at the rear of the space. For medium I am using Fox Farms Happy Frog augmented with perlite. The bottom third contains 0.5 pounds autoflower blend of a "super soil" additive from Nature's Living Soil. (https://amzn.to/2PUHc6k) I am using three-gallon cloth pots. The light is a Horticulture Lighting Group 135W QB V2 R-Spec LED kit. NUTRIENTS Tap water pH’d to 6.5. pH lowered using 1.5 TBS unsulfured blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar. One-half TBS of vinegar lowered pH about 0.5 points. The medium was very dry. Slowly watered to allow the moisture to be equal throughout the soil ISSUES My while I have yet to put the seed in the dirt, I am concerned about temperatures. They are currently running at about 86F. I would like to get it down to about 80F. DAILY LOG DAY -2: STARTED SEED * Started seed in my traditional manner. Between paper towels soaked in 5% bleach solution, 0.25 tsp/0.5 Cup water. Temp 82F. DAY -1: ACTION *The smallest of tip has appeared. Will put in soil in a few hours. Day 0: SEED PLANTED. * Refrigerator filtered water. pH 6.5. 1 cup (250ml) added very carefully. * Covered with humidity dome. * Light from Soil: 32.5” * Temperature: 82F DAY 1: SPROUT The sprouted seed has shown itself above the soil. A nice Christmas morning surprise. Now I can start counting the days. * Watered with about 200ml of water at pH 6.5. Used apple cider vinegar to lower the tap water pH. * I was pleased to find that my tap water does not contain chloramine. I was reading bad things about chloramine and "living soil." It can kill beneficial microorganisms. All I did was ask my water company and they replied saying "we found no mention of chloramine use in the system:" Just what I wanted to hear. * After looking at other diaries using 250W LEDs, I moved my light down to 25 inches. DAY 2: NO WATER FOR YOU * No watering today. There is plenty of water in the soil and I want the roots to stretch and work. * Working on increasing the humidity and getting more control over the temperature. DAY 3: WATER PLANT, NOT POT. ADDED MYCORRHIZAE. * Following the GrowWeedEasy watering suggestions for Kind Soil * 500ml water at 6.5 pH, around the plant and not across the full 3-gallon bag. * The fan gently moves the seedling to keep it strong. * Had minor unexpected run-off. I hope to avoid that in the future. * Added 1/8 tsp Great White Mycorrhizae dissolved in 100 ml of 50 ml water/50 ml molasses mix. Did not pH as it is such a small amount of solution compares to the watering earlier today. DAY 4: NO WATER, NO PICTURE * Nothing really new. So no reason for a picture. * The soil is dry on top, but the bottom of the pot is still damp. So I will watch it, but I don't expect to water today. * Adding a small intake fan has dropped the temps to about 82F, I think they can live with that. * A humidifier arrives tomorrow and I think that will be my last step to improve the environment. DAY 5: 500ml WATER, LOOKING GOOD * The plant is looking good. The second set of true leaves has a bend, but nothing to worry about. DAY 6: 500ml WATER. NEW HUMIDIFIER * It wasn't really necessary to water today, but I did simply to stay on the schedule I am using. * Given the lightness of the soil and the moving air, I don't anticipate any problems. * Added a humidifier yesterday evening. It's bringing the humidity up, but I need to keep the space closed and I'm a bit concerned about having to provide it with distilled water frequently. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WEEK ONE IN REVIEW ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * Watered with 750 ml pH's tap water. Watered slowly to avoid any runoff. * The plant is looking very healthy. It looks as if the roots are really starting to work as the plant is darker green. * Balancing temperature and humidity is tricky, but I think I will be able to get it stabilized with a bit more work. * Target Relative Humidity: Seedlings - 65-70; Vegging - 40-70; Flowering - 40-50 ==> Beginning Next Week I Will Only Post Twice A Week, Mid-week And End Of The Week. <==

27.08. 21 Ladys laufen gut hat wieder mal 7 tage gedauert bis die Ladys in die blüte gegangen sind sugar royal is da echt ne hilfe zum Übergang in die blüte. Hab unter der Woche nochmal Fächer blätter aus der Mitte heraus entfernt alles an blättern was rund um die Ladys außerhalb saß hab ich dran gelassen. Bin bis jetzt echt beeindruckt von der Genetik was die Ladys bei mir alles mit machen mussten is ja schon nicht mehr schön (z. B. Die Stamm-Spaltung) und sie lassen sich nichts anmerken und wachsen unaufhaltsam weiter, der Geruch ist jetzt schon hammer so der typische Gras Duft den man kennt nur 100x intensiver wie ein stinktier nur höher konzentrierter Duft ist echt Mega mal schauen was die nächste woche so Mit sich bringt

2 of 3 plants are females, Others are still unknown, females r hst ed and topped. I will repaet training with fimming after stress. 1 of them is a male ruderalis, I took him from the pot he lost around %95 of his roots but still alive and moved in quarantin to harvest his pollens to cross new combinations for the future, I broke a flowered stem :( and I dont want to say good bye to that small piece so I will try to make a clone with it, the chance will be less because of her flowers also I have not root hormon so the only chance is aloa vera gel and honey to protect her from infection . 2 fresh cuts from topped girls and 1 broken stem are in a box now (which they borned in it, the destiny :)) . A really explosive week of growth. I pushed PPFD up to 310umols. Dimmers are at 60% which is drawing 224w plus 18w of DRRB. I have alos started Emerson effect ... Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). If you give a plant only Far-Red light, photosynthesis is very slow. If you give it only Deep Red, it's better but still limited. However, when you give it both at once, the total rate of photosynthesis is significantly higher than if you just added the two results together (1+1=3). What is Happening? (The "Assembly Line") Inside the plant's chloroplasts, there are two "workstations" called Photosystem II (PSII) and Photosystem I (PSI). They work in series, meaning the first one must pass "parts" to the second one. PSII (The First Station): This station is tuned to catch Deep Red light (660 nm). It harvests electrons from water. PSI (The Second Station): This station is tuned to catch Far-Red light (700 nm). It takes the electrons from the first station and uses them to create energy (ATP and NADPH). The Problem: If you only provide Deep Red light, the first station works fast, but the second station can't keep up because it isn't being "powered" efficiently by that specific frequency. This creates a traffic jam of electrons. The Solution: By adding Far-Red light, you power up the second station. It now "pulls" the electrons from the first station much faster, clearing the traffic jam and making the whole assembly line run at full speed. The Benefits for The Grow.. Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..

Noticed some yellowing on sour kush a on Monday I do check ph and ppm overall smells nice critical purple finally taking off sticky buds on b and c

Day 85 since seed touched soil. Trim jail !!! 2.40 cm of hanging buds !!! Happy Growing !!!

bit of light stress in the last weeks photos, everything has cleared up still watering with silica when pot is dry. might just do a plain watering we have started flowering at day 18 on one of the crinkles , the rest of the room has now followed

Ladys got stunned.. because of high potassium that locked calsium.. at least it wasn't at veg.. they dont handle well potassium silica.. Did one clean water watering and hope for the best.. still looking promising.

Welcome back 🙌🏼 Update - Week 4 - just through week 4 and things are looking great. The runtz is finally starting to pack on some size, and both plants are beginning to get some girth to them too! Moving into week 4 now - I’ve just got a new light that’s pretty much double the intensity, and the light coverage reaches the sides of the whole tent now from 12/14 inches away from the tops - so hopefully we shall see the buds start popping. Switched out voodoo juice for B52 now. Photos don’t show the best pics of the trichs forming, but they’re starting to pop off. The zkitttlez seems to still be slightly ahead of the runtz in development and it’s starting to produce a lovely scent on the nose. Other than that, business as usual! 😎 Thanks for reading! 🤟🏻

In case you wondering why do I have three different temperature readings, well, before getting a thermometer I used the general atmosphere weather reading from humidity to temperature, however from day one of getting a thermometer I noticed my greenhouse different temperature readings depending where you place it, from moderate to cold in the shaded areas and hot, warm, moderate in areas where sunny, I had to erect my greenhouse in a secluded(out of sight corner of the yard) spot. This being a reason I need some solar lights, and fans for internal air flow, as self cooling as this house is, I need a stronger flow of air to stress my ladies to strengthen vertical growth.I still document the outdoor temperature and I take pictures of the indoor(greenhouse’ internal temperature) temperatures, to show the how the greenhouse is amplifying the heat and depending on which part of the greenhouse(shaded or direct sunlight), believe it or not the thermometers differ in reading even at night. The red mercury thermometer reading indicate temperatures in which my ladies are tanning in. Super Skunk I have a feeling she will be my biggest plant amongst the sextet I was wrong when I said Monday’s Blue would be the biggest… however I might be wrong again, all I need to do is remain consistent with watering, and I need to bite the bullet and buy a fan by the end of this month, the sunlight iSight not be direct on the plants however conditions keep these ladies healthy, nothing a solar flood would not fix, I will just need to get an yellow, orange, and red gels to cloak the light during flowering, yet my other problem is they will not flower at the same time, which I will fix in my next cycle, I’ll just get those gels for future grows, and I should not forget a blue gel for veg stag.

She's really starting to fill out at each nug site, pistil hairs are still vibrant white and an intoxicating citrus/melon smell has taken over the grow tent! Still feeding at an EC of 2 and keeping the pH around 5.5-5.8. Leaf health is good for the most part and I did add a small under canopy fan to keep air moving through the plant. Plant shows no signs of senescence at this point so let's keep it going!
