Woche 12 | Laughing Buddha | Der Umzug ins Hobbit-Megaprojekt Diese Woche stand ein Meilenstein an. Die Autos sind geerntet und gecurt, die Gorilla 720W hängt endlich an ihrem Platz und die Laughing Buddha durfte in ihr neues Zuhause umziehen. Und was soll ich sagen? Sie scheint den Umzug nicht nur gut verkraftet zu haben… …sie scheint darauf gewartet zu haben. 😅 Das neue Zuhause In den letzten Tagen wurde der große Growbereich aufgebaut. * 120 × 120 cm SCROG-Fläche * Zwei Netze (später zur Blüte sogar drei) * Gorilla 720W LED Gen II * Controller mit Sensorik * Klimaanlage * Luftbefeuchter * Mehrere Umluftventilatoren Auf den ersten Blick wirkt das Setup fast absurd groß für eine einzelne Pflanze. Als die Buddha frisch eingezogen war, wirkte das Netz riesig und die Pflanze fast verloren. Keine 24 Stunden später sah die Sache schon ganz anders aus. Test der “Billig-Lampe” Bevor die Laughing Buddha endgültig ihren Platz bekam, wurde noch eine günstige LED getestet. Das Ergebnis war überraschend positiv. Für eine preiswerte Lampe lieferte sie deutlich mehr Licht als erwartet und könnte für Anzucht, Stecklinge oder kleine Projekte durchaus interessant sein. Trotzdem wurde schnell klar: Für dieses Projekt spielt die Gorilla in einer ganz anderen Liga. Der Unterschied in der Lichtverteilung ist enorm. Erste Messungen mit der Gorilla 720W Natürlich musste die neue Lampe ausführlich getestet werden. Aktuell läuft die Gorilla auf: * 50 % Leistung * 50 cm Abstand Gemessen wurden dabei rund: 374 PPFD Das klingt zunächst wenig für eine 720W-Lampe. Man darf aber nicht vergessen: Die Fläche ist riesig und die Pflanze befindet sich noch mitten in der Vegetationsphase. Der Vorteil liegt aktuell nicht in maximaler Intensität, sondern in der unglaublich gleichmäßigen Ausleuchtung. Die Buddha bekommt jetzt Licht auf die komplette Krone statt nur auf die obersten Spitzen. Klima läuft erstaunlich stabil Die ersten 24 Stunden nach dem Umzug wurden genau beobachtet. Temperatur: * Nacht: etwa 21–22 °C * Tag: etwa 23–24 °C Luftfeuchtigkeit: * meist zwischen 60–65 % VPD: * überwiegend zwischen 0,8 und 1,2 kPa Genau der Bereich, den ich aktuell sehen möchte. Besonders interessant: Die stärksten Wachstumsschübe fielen genau in die Zeit, in der Temperatur, Luftfeuchtigkeit und VPD optimal zusammenarbeiteten. Die Buddha scheint sich unter diesen Bedingungen ausgesprochen wohlzufühlen. Die Reaktion der Pflanze Und jetzt wird es verrückt. Die Triebspitzen lagen nach dem Umzug vollständig unter dem Netz. Nur etwa 24 Stunden später drückten sie bereits wieder nach oben. Das Wachstum ist aktuell beeindruckend. Die Krone wird breiter, dichter und gleichmäßiger. Der Stamm hat mittlerweile eher die Dimension eines kleinen Baumes als die einer Zimmerpflanze. Besonders erfreulich: Die Mitte arbeitet genauso aktiv mit wie die äußeren Bereiche. Genau das möchte man bei einem großen SCROG sehen. Der Plan bis zum Urlaub In zehn Tagen geht es für zehn Tage in den Urlaub. Ursprünglich stand die Frage im Raum, ob die Buddha vorher noch in die Blüte geschickt werden soll. Nach reiflicher Überlegung fiel die Entscheidung dagegen. Der neue Plan: * Weiter wachsen lassen * Netz 1 füllen * Etwa 10 cm Höhe gewinnen lassen * Die Spitzen ins nächste Netz wachsen lassen * Bis zum Urlaub weiter verteilen Während des Urlaubs wird lediglich gegossen. Nach der Rückkehr folgt: * Große Bestandsaufnahme * Triebe neu verteilen * Alles auf eine Höhe bringen * Unterhalb der Netze gründlich aufräumen * Kurze Erholungsphase Erst danach erfolgt der Wechsel auf 12/12. Kontrolle statt Rekorde Ursprünglich stand die Idee im Raum, etwa 72 Tops unter den 720 Watt zu platzieren. Das bleibt weiterhin ein spannendes Ziel. Allerdings wird die Kontrolle über das Blätterdach wichtiger genommen als eine möglichst hohe Anzahl an Trieben. Lieber 50 bis 60 perfekt positionierte Speere als ein völlig überfülltes Netz. Alles, was später nicht sauber ins Konzept passt, wird konsequent entfernt. Am Ende zählt nicht die Anzahl der Triebe, sondern die Qualität des Canopys. Fazit der Woche Diese Woche hat gezeigt, welches Potenzial in dieser Pflanze steckt. Der Umzug verlief problemlos. Die Gorilla liefert exakt das, was ich mir erhofft hatte. Das Klima arbeitet stabil. Und die Laughing Buddha scheint gerade erst richtig in Fahrt zu kommen. Noch steht sie mitten in der Vegetationsphase. Noch laufen lediglich 50 % Lampenleistung. Noch ist nicht einmal das erste Netz vollständig gefüllt. Aber zum ersten Mal habe ich das Gefühl, dass dieses Projekt etwas ganz Besonderes werden könnte. Die nächsten Wochen werden zeigen, wie weit die Buddha dieses Netz tatsächlich erobern möchte. Eines steht fest: Langweilig wird es definitiv nicht. 😎

Nuestras power plant xL se han comportado fenómeno , recordamos que metimos 9 plantas de 3 variedades distintas y esta es la única variedad que perdimos espacio del indoor. Aun así sin palabras en cuanto al resultado. Planta con floración muy rápida, bastante vigorosa, lo malo es que al final tendrás que tutorar si o si, pero es por el peso de la flor. 56/59 días para cortar en floración, (y es Sativa).Se supone que tira 20%thc y su genética es South African sativa.

Noticed some leaf discoloration on one plant this week. Assumed a deficiency of some sort. Now doing 1/2 strength fox farm trio with a tsp of calmag. Also been watering with a higher pH as runoff was noticeably low previous watering. Night humidity is a lil higher than I’d like but the airflow is great. All in all, everything seems good at the moment. Photos/video are day 64 since breaking the soil (except leaf deficiency pictures).

I have to start this update with a confession. 😂📸 I didn't take individual photos of Blueberry Muffin Pheno A this week. There. I said it. My bad. 😂💚 I photographed her sister. I photographed the room. I have video showing the whole garden evolving. But somehow... this little lady escaped the camera this week. And I know. I know. She deserves better. 😂 So next week? She's getting her own proper photo session. Absolutely. But even without her individual gallery this week, I can still tell you exactly what I'm seeing. And what I'm seeing is... a beautiful little plant. Compact. Very compact. Actually... she could hardly be much smaller. 😂💚 She's continuing to do exactly what she has always done. Growing. Developing. Flowering. Staying compact. And quietly becoming more interesting every week. So although I don't have her personal photo gallery this time... I'm absolutely not going to let her disappear from the story. This girl deserves her spotlight. And we're going to give it to her. ──────────────────────── 🌱 The 8×8 Adventure — Same Room, Different Stories For anyone discovering this diary for the first time, welcome to the 8×8 Adventure. The concept behind this project is simple: Twelve different plants. Different genetics. Different phenotypes. One shared room. One general environmental strategy. One 12/12 lighting schedule. One irrigation philosophy. One nutritional program. One lighting ecosystem. One grower. And yet... twelve very different expressions. Some plants stretch. Some spread. Some become enormous. No major intervention. No big structural changes. No need for me to jump in and try to redesign her. She's simply continuing forward. And that's something I've come to appreciate more and more as this run progresses. Not every week needs to be dramatic. Not every update needs to contain a major event. Sometimes the plant simply grows. And that's enough. Blueberry Muffin Pheno A is doing exactly that. She's continuing to develop within her compact little structure. She's maintaining her place in the room. She's continuing her flowering journey. And she's doing it quietly. Just as we've come to expect from her. ──────────────────────── 🌿 Could She Be Any Smaller? Honestly... look at this girl in the context of the room. 😂💚 She's tiny. She's compact. She's one of those plants where you almost have to remind yourself that she's still a full flowering plant sitting in a 15 L pot. And that's what makes her so interesting. She could hardly be much smaller. She's not trying to occupy every available centimetre. She's not reaching for the ceiling. She's not building some enormous structure. She's simply using the little framework she has. And now I am genuinely curious about what that means for her final production. Because that's the great unknown. We know she's small. We know she's beautiful. We know she's flowering. But how much can this little plant ultimately produce? That's something we're going to have to discover. And honestly? I'm really curious. ──────────────────────── 🔬 Small Frame. Big Question. This is another reason I love phenotype hunting. Sometimes the interesting question isn't: "How big is she?" The two additional Black Series 600W fixtures remain part of the room's lighting ecosystem. After the initial increase in PPFD, we reduced the output to approximately 59% from the plug. We're working around: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy with the actual intensity naturally changing throughout the canopy depending on plant height and position. And Blueberry Muffin? She's still doing her thing under all those photons. She's not suddenly stretching. She's not suddenly changing her personality. She's simply continuing to develop within the compact architecture she's established. Same photons. Same room. Different plant. Different expression. That's the 8×8 Adventure. ──────────────────────── 🌸 The Room Is Changing — And She's Part of It Even though I didn't get individual photographs of her this week, I did get photographs and video of the room. And honestly... the room is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. 🌿💚🌸 When you step back and look at the entire 8×8, you can really appreciate how much everything has changed. These plants are no longer the little seedlings we started with. They're established flowering plants. They're developing their individual personalities. They're filling their spaces. They're becoming increasingly mature. And Blueberry Muffin Pheno A is right there among them. Small. Compact. Quiet. But definitely part of the picture. And sometimes seeing the whole room gives you a perspective that an individual photograph can't. You can see how different the plants are. You can see the different heights. The different structures. The different flower formations. And right there... our little Blueberry Muffin. Even though I missed her individual photo session, the room footage gives us another way to see her. You can watch the plants moving through this stage together. You can see the overall evolution. You can see how the canopy has developed. And you can see Blueberry Muffin Pheno A sitting there in her little compact world. Sometimes a moving image tells you something different from a still photograph. The whole room becomes part of the story. And that's particularly useful in a project like this. Because this isn't just twelve individual plants. It's twelve individual plants sharing one environment. Week 2 starting with gsc putting out begging of pistils with others shortly behind I'm sure as it is day 10 since 12/12. on day 11 flower pistis are visable on blueberry and girlscout cookies. On day 13 OG Kush has pre flowers just waiting on blueberry muffin which were planted more recently than the others.

Despite being grown in different containers (plastic pots vs Pro-Mix bags), there is no visible difference in growth rate, structure, or vigor. Rhythm, height, and development remain aligned — true twins in motion. Growth this week has been fast, confident, and clean. Growth & Structure • Stage: Vegetative • Flowering signs: None observed • Node count: ~6 nodes • Growth habit: Compact, fast, very controlled • Internodal spacing: Tight • Leaf development: Large fan leaves, dominant canopy At this stage, Skywalker OG is clearly prioritizing leaf mass and photosynthetic surface over branch elongation. Branches are present but still relatively short compared to leaf size — a classic sign of a plant building energy reserves before structural expansion. There are a few funky leaf expressions here and there — small personality traits rather than problems. Nothing concerning, nothing progressive, and nothing that requires correction. No training has been applied so far. ⸻ Container Comparison — Pot vs Pro-Mix Bag An important observation this week: There is no meaningful difference in growth between the plastic pot and the Pro-Mix bag. Esta semana engordaron bastante las flores, los últimos dos dias de esta semana deje de regar con nutrientes, pura agua 🚿 para empezar el flush

Everything else seems to be going great! Day 22 topped & trimmed them up a bit Day 23 started LST on a few Day 24 started mainline on one of the GZ Day 25 trimmed them a little more today

Semana 6 (7-13 de mayo)(días 36 - 42) Contentos con como va la cosa, retiramos alguna hoja tocada y poco mas. 😊😊 11/5/2020 El ultimo riego fue bastante heavy y podemos ver como las puntas muestran signos de sobrefertilicacion ,por tanto este riego va a ser más suave. Teniendo en cuenta que sufrimos el problema de quedarnos sin fertilizantes y que nuestro proovedor debido a la situación actual del covid tiene el asunto complicado tocaremos con lo que tenemos. Hoy toca riego en el que usamos 40l ñara 22 plantas. Los riegos se realizan en garrafas de 10l por lo que los valores varían en función de las plantas. (Valores • l) • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg PH: 5 94 EC: 1.21 T h2O: 18,5°C • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg + 0.2ml Final solution PH: 5 84 EC: 1.00 T h2O: 18°C • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg + 0.2 Final Solution PH: 5 81 EC: 1.18 T h2O: 17,3°C • 1gr de biogreen flower boost + 1ml calcio max + 1ml Mg PH: 6 EC: 1.44 T h2O: 17,2°C Para algunas variedades como la Bubba y la Barney Kid será su último riego con fertilizantes, a partir de ahora haremos riegos com flush hasta el momento de corte para que no queden restos en nuestras flores en el momento final. Al resto sin embargo les quedará alrededor de 3/4 semanas por lo menos. Esto sigue avanzando y se siguen formando nuevas flores pero esperemos que esto no tarde mucho en engordar, porque a pesar de que se que son de floración larga me da la sensación de que podrían estar mejor, no se si debido al cambio de nutrientes y de que no estoy cubriendo todas las necesidades que tienen. A pesar de todos tenemos unas Orange sherbert que pintan increíbles, una berry mint potente, dos chocolate mint OG que dan ganas de comérsela... Por comentar que ayer dejo de funcionarios uno de los focos 😔 tras echarle un ojo y hacer unas pruebas comprobamos que el fallo era del cable y ya esta solucionando 😁😁 Estoy disfrutando mucho con este cultivo y aprendiendo de los fallos, sólo viendo como van y con las cosas que he aprendido no veo el momento de comenzar con el siguiente cultivo, pero paso a paso 🤗 Por cierto estos últimos días la temperatura a bajado bastante por el mal tiempo lo que nos ha venido genial para estabilizar la temperatura en unos 25/26°C en ON y 22/23°C en OFF. Estos días atrás rondaba más los 28/29°C llegando en algún momento a 30. Un poco de frescura para el huerto. Y por último, pero no menos importante. Mi pareja, a la que tanto quiero, me va a dejar su móvil para sacar fotos. La diferencia es abismal por lo que intentaremos mejorar la cantidad de nuestro contenido para el bien de todos 😁😁

My girl is starting to get really thick all around just how I like em. My humidity is very high because of my region and I’ve applied the max level of circulation I can source. If I end up with bud rot I’ll have learned my lesson in making sure I have a dehumidifier… Sour Jealousy has made a nice recovery from my early blunder
