TheGreenGroomer And we're off! The journey begins with a simple setup, I placed the seeds between damp (not soaked) cotton pads, gave them a light mist, and popped them into a ziplock food bag with a slight opening for air. After about 36 hours, they popped with healthy little taproots. Then, just 48 hours later, they broke through the soil and reached up into the light. Always wild seeing how fast nature works when you give it the right touch. Excited to see where this run takes me. Let’s grow! 🌿

TheGreenGroomer Week 2 Day 1 of Veg today and things are still movin’ along nicely 🌱 I spotted some early signs of magnesium deficiency a couple days ago, so I bumped up the CalMag — seems to be working. The issue hasn’t gotten worse, and growth hasn’t slowed at all 🙌 She's still stacking new leaves daily and now starting to pray to the light, which is a great sign she’s back in the groove and loving life ☀️ Hoping that tweak sorted her out and we're dialed back in. Gonna keep pushing for that even canopy — still on track to fill out the tent with some topping, LST, and eventually a full scrog 💪 Onward and upward!

TheGreenGroomer We’re kicking off week 3 of veg today, and things are looking up. She seems to be bouncing back nicely from that magnesium deficiency—leaves are perking up, color's evening out, and overall growth is picking up again. I topped her at the 5th node and gave her some light LST. After about 3–4 days of recovery, I removed a few lower leaves that were sitting in the dirt and getting in the way during watering. Feeding her 500 PPM at a pH of 5.8

TheGreenGroomer Week 4 Day 1 Update 🌱 Hey growmies, here we are in Week 4 and things are looking pretty solid overall. She's bouncing back amazingly well from the topping and defoliation – super happy with how the new growth is pushing through. Lots of healthy, vigorous shoots coming in now, and she's starting to really bush out. That said, the magnesium deficiency seems to be creeping back in a bit. Leaves are starting to show those familiar signs again, so I clearly need to dial this in before I flip her to flower, so i just gave her a calmag foliar spray 3hours before lights on to give it enough time to dry up hopefully will improve as i figure out what the issue is with my feeding we want to make sure she's firing on all cylinders when it comes to flipping to flower :) For reference: Runoff PPM: ~500 pH: 5.8 CalMag: 2ml per 2L (using Shogun CalMag) If anyone’s got experience with magnesium issues in coco or tips on getting it locked in, I’d really appreciate your input 🙏 Trying to stay ahead of it now rather than deal with it mid-flower. Let’s keep it green! 🌿

TheGreenGroomer what’s up guys, today’s day 1 of week 5 in veg and it’s looking like this will be the last day before i flip to flower. the plan is to switch to 12/12 right after today, but my ppms are sitting at 370 which isn’t ideal at all. definitely need to get that sorted quick before the flip. she’s still been growing super fast and handled defoliation and topping like a champ. that mag deficiency is still hanging around even with foliar sprays and feeding recommended nutes, so i’ll be dialing everything in asap. excited to move into flower though, it’s about to get good.

TheGreenGroomer We’re officially entering the flowering stage! It’s been 6 days since I flipped the lights to 12/12, and everything’s progressing nicely. My SCROG net is in the game now—set up and holding things down just right, keeping the canopy even and tops well-positioned. PPMs are right where they should be, pH is steady, and despite an ongoing magnesium deficiency that’s been tagging along this whole grow (still can’t quite pin down the cause, even though everything’s dialed in), she looks super happy. Leaves are standing tall and praying hard under the light. She’s growing fast and strong—getting about 550–650 PPFD at the moment. She’s starting to get pretty leafy now, so in two days, I’ll be doing some defoliation—clearing a few leaves from the top to open up the canopy and improve light penetration. I’ll also be stripping the lower growth to help redirect the plant’s energy to the top where the bud development will count most. I’ll do a final clean-up 7 days after that to keep everything focused and efficient as we move deeper into flower. Excited to watch her keep stretching and stacking!

Wow, 36 hours for the taproots and 48 more to break through the soil...this is off to an amazing start!

Magnesium issues can be tricky but it sounds like she’s responding well

@James_Davis05, it seems quite a lot of growers who do pineapple express come across this issue ive seen on allot of dairies but yeah buddy ive upped the calmag and she seems to be getting back on track now

It's always fascinating to witness how quickly seeds respond when provided with the right conditions
