Everything’s looking great with these two really happy with these perfect height for me, I’m defiantly going to be doing a lot of Mephisto strains in the near future. ✌️🏻 Still looking good, starting to frost up now also added an 4” air intake and hung it up to blow air across the canopy.

Day 20th from germination. 16/09/25

Everything is going well ( day 22 ) , I figured out my lighting issue. I raised my lights all the way up to the top and turned them to 75% power and the plants are doing well now now wilting or anything

This was a wild ride. Gave way to many nutrients and I realised this way too late, when lock-ups already started to happen. The buds still look very potent, I just think they had way more in em size/potency wise if the nutrients would've been on point. Not growing auto flowers indoor anymore, but I'll deffo be growing this one outdoors this year! The smell is out of this world, #1 smells like tropical fruit juice, #2 more of a candy-sweetness but definitely tropical. Can't wait for ya'll to grow this one!

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Growing's been good this week she transitioned to the outside very nicely very easily with little to no stress! She been super easy to this point

Beginning of week.. This is the last and final week for sure for sure lol.. That makes 10 weeks from 12/12.. And by the trichomes they should both be prefect!.. With the Mandarin Cookiea having just a tad bit more amber than the ETHOS Cookies.. They both should have plenty.. This week may be cut a day short.. Because the only day I can find time to harvest will be the day before the next week starts.. The last day of the week (end of week).. And I want to go ahead and try the 48 hours of darkness thing once more.. To see if it may have any effect.. I guess if alot of people already do it.. What can it hurt??.. Anyways.. Still just giving rainwater.. Lately it has gone down on the PPM side.. Niceeee.. I was going to get some distilled and run it through (0 - 10 PPM) but the rainwater is at 15 - 17 PPM.. That's close enough for me.. Maybe still run a gallon of distilled the day before I begin the 48 hours of darkness thing-a-ma-doodle lol.. Today.. This is what happened... Going in: 17 PPM at 6.9 pH for both.. Run off: Mandarin Cookies was 100 PPM at 5.9 pH and the ETHOS Cookies was 54 PPM at 6.0 pH.. I think the Mandarin Cookies needs to be flushed a bit more before I feel comfortable with the flushing.. I believe its fine to not flush for a whole 2 weeks at 0 PPM or whatever.. But I do like to get it down pretty low by harvest time.. But I think everything will be fine.. Just gotta make sure I dont fuck up the drying 😬😬😬 Mid week.. Almost there!!! So excited! Can't wait! Got both runoffs at 50 PPM.. Just been watering as usual.. Both of these strains are going to be epic af! I think tomorrow will be the last day of lights on.. Going to begin the pre-harvest dark period to hopefully increase trichome/thc production or whatever it does 😂😂😂 if this bud ends up better than anything I've ever grown then I will do it every grow!.. But we shall see!!! End of week.. No pics this update.. They are both bathing in complete darkness for a couple days then CHOP!... Haven't even peaked at them.. They both should be on point! So happy for this to be just days away from going into jars!!! I've already cut a small branch from the Mandarin Cookies and dried it for 5 days.. A little faster then I wanted.. But wow.. It tasted immaculate.. I removed every leaf I could.. Leaving just the calyxes.. No chlorophyll.. Not really enough to get a buzz from.. Plus that was like 2 weeks ago.. So it was still too early for any decent amounts of THC.. But the taste is delicious af!.. I will take some pics before the chop and post them for the "end of this week" since it is going to be a day early anyway.. End of week.. Nvm lol.. Took some pics before harvesting and here they are! Even a sneak peak at the drying in the tent.. May be awhile till I post the harvest.. Want to make sure I give the best review on these ladies as I can! Hells yeah!!! So dank!

It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Just a few weeks ago we were bundled up in our warmest coats, and now it's finally starting to feel like springtime. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My pound cake plant is finally getting somewhere. It's totally weird, because the stems turned this super cool purple color. Soon it's going to be covered in pound cake buds that'll be ready to eat. I'm thinking fancy frosting might be the way to go, but I'm also considering something fruity on top.

Day 80, 22nd of October 2020: 3rd week of flowering! Happiness she needs a lot of boost hard to keep up. She loves fertilization too much..... I mean before always craving for nitrogen now qould need more potassium and phosphorus hard to keep up. I also detect deficiency based on the leaves getting lighter and brown spots but I do feed her as much as I can really. This week i have relised the first nice trichomes started "sitting" on the leaves as well and the pistils coming out nicely pre flowers forming. Let's go.

Blue Dream Xtreme is growing. I think she wants more nutrition then the others. Is a little lighter in shade of green. I just switched to 12 12 light schedule. So first day of flowering. Day 72, 21st of November 2020: Hi! Wao this is what I can say and luckily stoppe streching.... All LST has been removed as the plants remain the same so no need to keep them in "chains". Those Original Sensible girls 3 of them (Gelato, Runtz Gum, Do-Si-Dos OG)went crazy, except Black Ghost OG she did not strech much typical little indica lady. And the THC crystals alrady on the leaves on the Runtz Gum and Do-Si-Dos OG just simply beautiful. Buds are coming getting thick they are gorgeous only I can see some some sort of deficiency on Do-Si-Dos OG a bit on some leaves. The fertilization schedula isnthe same every 2nd day and happens with the mix and ratio above. Wedding Gelato is beautiful also I hope the nice purple colour will come out as well in late flowering stage. :) The lamp is on 11.30 min and off 12.30 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -30 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.30 pm.

This wonderful plant is amazing man, I have fallen in love with this strain and the hard rocks nuggets she has produced, beutiful orange pistils, it's just pure fire. Very dense and compact nuggets guys, she's been 100% organic grown, she has been watered with pure water and beneficial bacteria all the way and also with guano liquid by guanokalong, the aromas are very complex is very gassy stinks like a skunk however it's got some piney in and kush aroma,definitely awesome man need to keep growing this strain many more times no doubt.

Sep 24: will call her done any day now. Weather is still nice so keep going for now. See Part 2 diary for finish.

As you can tell getting more top heavy buds definitely filling in the smell definitely picked up trying to push to day 70 I don't have a microscope yet but if somebody can tell through the pictures if the time may be sooner than 70 day please speak your mind

What up Growmies, this one grew hella fast maturing in 9 weeks from seed to harvest fast. Buds is true to their name. This one has some serious resin on the flowers reminding me of some sort of a gelato Gorilla glue cross, but we shall see when it's released! I could be far off lol. I had no problems growing her. She was really easy and happy her whole life. She's a great one for extractions! Thank you grow diaries and thank you fastbuds for the opportunity to show the world my organic gardening skills!
