So it has been a week of playing around with free-standing water, heating, and airflow and now it seems we have finally found the sweet spot with a humidifier up high. It seems like I don't even need the extraction fan at the moment as there is a reasonable amount of pull coming out of the hole at the top, so much so that the door is actually being sucked in. Just trying to find the right height for the light. After a bit of research, I have decided on 80cm which I will lower bit by bit each day heading towards 50cm. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. 🙏💪 Also in my search, I found that according to Jorge Cervantes 24 hour light is a waste of electricity for the extra growth you get so I have reduced the schedule to 18-6.

Well week 12 and week 2 of flower started yesterday 8/22. Other than the clones everything is looking good. But to be fair I haven't really done much with them. They're like a bastard step child, I only kept em around out of moral obligation. Lol. J/k...sort of. Nah, just some weird bumps on a couple leaves and from what I can tell it's a copper and or zinc thing so I'm gonna get some Proactive, lol. So the mothers have definitely stretched, lol. 06.05. Day 100 60 Days of flowering Harvestday May 6th — what a day. Back from vacation in the afternoon and wrapped up the Grow Cup in the evening. It was a long, exhausting day, but one I’ll never forget. Those five legendary ladies made it truly unforgettable!

Sorry for the huge delay, I wanted to update this earlier but COVID-19 happened everywhere and many things happened where I live. Nonetheless, I have all the photos and I'll be finishing this diary soon. The smell of both of my babies was quite, quite strong. It even made me feel very dizzy every time I checked them. During the week the leaves from Pistachio started to turn yellow while the ones from Matcha finally started to show signs of the excesses and burn, the mistakes I made earlier started to become more and more apparent so it was only a matter of time. Also, everytime a leaf started to die I removed it as soon as possible... but that might become more evident at the time lapse I uploaded! This was the last week of flower for Pistachio, and I'll leave Matcha a couple more days with some direct light on her (I want her pistils to mature a bit more), but next week is finally the week when I cut them. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Day 22, 01.05.2024 - Not much to do but to further guide Erika II by imposing LST for better light usage of lower leaves Day 23, 02.05.2024 - Again a slow day. Just put in some wooden pins to provide some more light to the lower leaves - soil is again getting bone dry. Since I only water with about 10% of the pot volume I think it might be time already tomorrow, maybe in the afternoon / evening - also raised the lights to ~30cm above canopies again - Erika II is catching up in height - maybe I can remove the lifting box in a couple of days Day 24, 03.05.2024 - decided to give the ladies some water inkl. a fertilizer cocktail (~500ml each) - bought a couple of longer wooden sticks to guide the leaves & branches. May install a scrog net just for better organization/ handling - removed 2 leaves in total - also I am now positive: Erika I is definitely going into flowering Day 25, 04.05.2024 - Erika II catched up to Erika I in height so I removed the lifting piece. Now both plants are leveled on top and bottom (more or less) - Decided to remove some leaves. I removed every leaf that a) pointed inwards plus b) covered other parts of the plant - soil is again getting dry. Thinking about watering them in the morning Day 26, 05.05.2024 - Gave a round of water & nutrition: 500ml each Day 27, 06.05.2024 - Judging from the timelapse of the past days (see video!) I recognized: 500ml each second day might not be enough (mind you: it is only ~10% of the pot volume). Also after feeding the growing seems to explode :D (I fed for example on 05.05., ~17:00 hours). So I decided to give another round of drinks this evening (400ml each inkl. Fertilizer) at 20:45 which is around 24h after the last feeding. - Just realized: I did not measure their heights in quite some time. At end of week 4 both are clocking in at 27cm from top of soil. - Both showing now that they are ladies clearly - so I declare "End of Veggie" Day. - Removed 1 small bud on the lower part of Erika II. Also removed 1 leaf at Erika I that pointed inwards & blocked light. - Raised the lights to match 30cm above canopies again Day 28, 07.05.2024 - not much to do but to watch the ladies explode in height: they gained about 4cm in 2 days :) - watering is going to happen tomorrow This day also concludes week 4.

Fed the plants with Fox Farm veg nutes once this week. Still a bit early to sex them but only really concerned about the two that are growing the fastest. Hopefully be able to tell in a couple weeks. The plants that were topped for the second time are recovering well and echo new site has grown sets of leaves One of the autos started flowering and the second should start in the next 2-3 days. Did slight LST to the flowering auto to get more sun to the bud sites on the bottom.

EC 1.2 PH 5.8 I am very impressed by the rapid growth. The roots seem to be very healthy. I have raised the light to encourage more vertical growth.

Day 51 - Starting a new week and she needed some water and nutes for sure. I also added some molasses to the mixture on advice from a friend so we’ll see what that does for her. She’s still stretching quite a bit and looking forward to the buds really starting to develop. Day 52 - Everything is looking good with this girl. She’s definitely a lengthy girl and somewhat “petite” but looking nice and healthy and starting to bud up nicely. Day 53 - All is looking good and nothing much new to report today. She’s stretching like crazy right now, almost 2 inches the last 24 hours. It’s probably going to be another day or two before she needs some water. She’s not drinking as much as my other two. Day 54 - Everything’s still looking good with the girl. She’s definitely lengthy but I’m sure she’ll fill out in due time. She’s not very “full” of fan leaves and such so that should help out cause bud sites aren’t blocked. I gave her a gallon of water and nutes and it’s really helping her grow. Day 55 - Almost the end of week 8 and she’s chugging along nicely. Didn’t really do much with her, just wanted to readjust her in the tent. Day 56 - The end of another week and she’s coming along nicely. Still really lengthy but I’m hoping and expecting her to do really well. I clipped off a couple low branches to keep energy focused on the main branches. She’s behind the other girls on water but should still need some by the end of the weekend.

Buds getting bigger. This strain is very greasy, a lot of resin. It smells very sweet, amazing.

The Ztrawberriez Auto is very resistant has a great sweet strawberry smell throughout the garden. As you can easily see from my grow question, I was initially afraid for the plants due to the high temperature in the greenhouse (as soon as the sun shone ~40 degrees). It turned out that the plant seemed to like it and rewarded me with beautiful buds with purple tips. Growdiaries won't let me delete the question otherwise this would have happened long ago... She finished very quickly and took just 70 days from seed to harvest. All this confirms that fastbuds is the right address for autoflowers. I'm already looking forward to the next run. This strain was a hell of a time. From the beginning when I had no idea if this genetic was even going to make it... Now we have 4.5 ounces in our hands from a bad ass grow. I would call this a success story hahah. Can't wait to start my next grow!!!

a new grow is on the cards. it will be a race between two fast-flowering varieties. On one side we have fast buds with gorilla cookies and on the other side zamnesia with green crack F1. i'm trying to create the same conditions for both as much as possible. it will be an outdoor grow in an autopot flexipot system. both will get the same fertilisation and have the same substrate to grow in. the substrate is a mix of expanded clay from Plagron and coconut fibres from Canna. The fertiliser comes from Hesi. germination went very well. i first put the seed in water for 24 hours and then placed it in a wet paper towel for another 24 hours. the seed germinated after a total of 48 hours. then i planted it in the coco substrate and after another 48 hours the seedling broke through the soil and got its first rays of sunshine. it will be my last outdoor grow for this year and i'm looking forward to seeing how the plants grow in late summer.😋

Oh yeah!!!! Apple Strudel is finishing strong 💪. Her buds have swollen up nicely, are a beautiful lime green & super frosty. She smells really potent! Started to flush her a couple days ago so she'll be getting the chop here in a few days. Excited to see how she taste after a dry & cure.
