Quebec blast has been growing really well. I have trained her today. I also removed some solution to provide more air for roots. She has started to take off. She is growing under the Spider Farmer SE5000, I have her in a New Level hydro 5 gallon bucket. Links below. ‖ WEEK 5 UPDATE ‖ Hello fellow growers and cannabis enthusiasts, I hope ya’ll are having a good day. I put a bit more information this time. Below are a few things I’ll go over for this weeks update ◻️ Growth ◻️ Nutrients ◻️ Pests ◻️ Thoughts ‖ SHORT VERSION ‖ Some of the girls grew about ~12 inches or ~30 centimeters, this surprised me! Never saw that level of growth before. I gave them a bloom booster to help with their transition to week 2 - 3 of flower, this should kick in the bud development. I inspected the little ones and noticed signs of Thrips, annoying buggers. I treated them with neem oil and a time released pest fumigator strip (last 3 months). Overall I’m impressed with this week's progress so far. ‖ INDIVIDUAL GROWTH UPDATE ‖ Orange Sherbet #1 ◻️ height: 18in / 46cm ◻️ width: 15in / 40cm ◻️ node distance: 1.5in - 3in / 3.8cm - 7.6cm Orange Sherbet #2 ◻️ height: 17in / 43cm ◻️ width: 15in / 39cm ◻️ node distance: .8in - 3in / 2cm - 9.1cm Wedding Cheesecake #1 ◻️ height: 19in / 48cm ◻️ width: 16in / 41cm ◻️ node distance: 1in - 2.5in / 2.5cm - 6.3cm Wedding Cheesecake #2 ◻️ height: 31in / 79cm ◻️ width: 18in / 46cm ◻️ node distance: 1.5in - 4in / 3.8cm - 10cm Purple Lemonade #1 ◻️ height: 24in / 61cm ◻️ width: 12in / 31cm ◻️ node distance: 1.1in - 2.4in / 2.7cm - 6cm Purple Lemonade #2 ◻️ height: 26in / 66cm ◻️ width: 18in / 45cm ◻️ node distance: 1.5in - 3.1in / 3.8cm - 7.6cm ‖ NUTRIENT PLAN ‖ Next week I will amend the soil with a little nitrogen, and focus more on pk for buds. I gave all the girls Flower Fuel a granular bloom booster I got off of amazon last year. I never had issues with it though I haven’t used beastie blooms or other common bloom boosters on the market. The week after next (week 7) I’ll add powdered amendments to keep them going till harvest. I may even amend at week 6 so they get a head start on breaking down all the organic materials. Everything is ph’d to ~6.5, the girls are looking healthy and will be ready for feeding soon. ‖ PESTS ‖ Found a few thrips around, still managing the white flies okay but I’ll need to tackle the thrips immediately to prevent stunted growth and stress to the girls. I use neem oil, green cleaner (not the kitchen disinfectant) and a slow release fumigation strip that helps with most pest. ‖ FINAL THOUGHTS ‖ This week has gone well, again I was surprised with the growth rate during this week. The stretch period is still going for some of the girls so I’ll keep updating on their individual growth stats for the next couple of weeks. I’ll need to inspect my plants a bit more carefully so I don’t miss any signs of stress, pests , etc. I may be partially blind but I can still make a better effort in spotting these potential issues, I’m still learning :) Well, it’s been a great week, got some work ahead of me. Thanks for the love and hope ya’ll stay safe out there! Much love, Meus

9/17 - Day 30 Flowering! Both shooting pistils with Mace pulling ahead of GG's schedule even more. GG started showing what appears to be a P deficiency on largest fan leaves. Took it as a sign to feed for BAS nutrient tea and bottom feeding some Buddha Bloom. Mace shows some mag def, increased calmag. 9/18 Added slight LST to GG, mostly to guide the main cola/stalk away from growing straight into the light. Elevated blumat res to increase warer rate. 9/23 - Day 36 Humming along! Added pics.

9/19 tied up some of the drooping branches on the bottom that have fallen from their own mass/weight. Shes been smelling so so awesome this whole time. Each day more frost, resin and trichomes cover the buds 9/22 looked at trichomes through magnifier. They're magnificently long with big heads. Not very many amber heads though. Like maybe 30% clear, 60% cloudy and 10% amber. Thats just a rough guesstimate, I may change that ratio later

I saw @astroboy grow this strain and he did a wonderful job. I read about the hype surrounding the cultivar and its claim of upwards of 30% thc. Had to see for myself. Not sure who grew it better, but I do know that OSS Bruce Banner #3 is an amazing strain and I will grow it again

Weather here is still fantastic, hot days, partially cloudy, cooler nights. Long term forecast are excellent till the end of September, probably till mid October. No news to report, I'm just waiting for buds swelling, these are the slowest days of my life. Now she's flowering very fastly, hungry of nutes, some K deficiency signs all around but situation is under control. I've made a major defoliation in the middle and bottom canopy, she's very very leafy. Stigmas are fatter twice then sister's. The overall basic structure of the buds is really impressive, twice thicker than SK and 3 times than RG. But late.... Stay safe Bros

No news to report, I'm just waiting for buds swelling, these are the slowest days of my life. I've got pheno #1, tall plant with short and dense buds, fast blossoming, good leaf/buds ratio, great resin production. The plant is gorgeous, all concentrated on the top, big, rough and fat buds. It is evident from the physiognomy typically indica that she is a rustic, wild plant and not an indoor doll. Flushing started, last feed Thursday 17th. Very strangely rust fungus infection has attacked only to fan leaves and hasn't hurt flowering, till now. She will be a generous yelder... and maybe she will cropped together with her sister Royal Gorilla in 7/10 days. Stay safe Bros

Weather here is still fantastic, hot days, partially cloudy, cooler nights. Long term forecast are excellent till the end of September, probably till mid October. No news to report, I'm just waiting for buds swelling, these are the slowest days of my life. The halfway point has passed, now I am just waiting for the buds to gain weight, trichomes are turning milky with few amber. Lots of beautiful brown pistils are filling the buds, a ridiculous amount of resin is covering everything (I really won't know how to handle this super sticky stuff). Unfortunately, the flower size ratio is still disadvantageous compared to that of the sisters but the structure of this plant is sublime, practically apart from slender branches, sparse and thin leaves, it is composed only of beautiful dense buds, with a perfect ovoid shape, in need of little trim. Aesthetically a feast for the eyes. The mites infection is stable. From tomorrow the definitive defoliation begins, a little at a time. Flushing started, last feed Monday 14th. Harvest time September 26/27 or earlier.

This girl is getting close to being done now! I have had some cal-mag issues pop up. I should have gone with bigger pots this year. I started earlier then normal so the plants are bigger and hungrier then ones I’ve done in the past so I’ve had a few issues this run. This Fine lady has about another week left in her at this point I think She smells pretty awesome at this point!! 😎🍿

Thanks for checking out my diary. this week went well,I am still running LED lights on a 19/5 cycle, with my daytime temps 76-78 and lights off 70-72. I am keeping the humidity set at 60% with the help of my AC Infinity Cloudline T8. On day 8 I started fertigating the Jack 47 seedlings 3 times per day, and they really responded well to that extra fertigation event. I am feeding Maxi Gro and Cal Mag and have gradually increased the EC until I am currently at .8 EC. I am also keeping my PH in a range of 5.9 to 6.5 I also topped all three plants earlier today, and I am going to see if and or how they respond, and then go from there. For the topping I waited until they had grown a 4th node each, and then topped them at the 3rd node while leaving both grow tips. I know some people say topping autos is not the best way to go, but on my first grow I got my largest yield on a sour diesel auto that I topped. I am not sure if I will top the Jack 47's again, or just utilize LST, it really just depends on how they respond to this first one. So far I am super excited with these Jack 47's by Sweet Seeds, and can't wait to see what they produce! Thank you for checking out my diary, be safe, and blaze on!
