Week 3 – Day 22 (VT22) RedPure#4 was transplanted into a 15L fabric pot this week and received 💧 2.5L of water. She’s showing the first signs of preflower 🌸 and is staying nice and compact – just as expected. Looks like she’s going to turn a beautiful purple 💜 soon! She reacted well to the transplant and shows no signs of stress. The overall light intensity (DLI) was reduced to 27 to keep stress low, but RedPure handled it like a champ 💪. 📅 Looking ahead: 🔹 Watering volume will increase to 4–5L depending on demand. 🔹 Root growth looks promising – they’ve started exploring the new pot. 🔹 Light LST will continue, and I might remove a few bigger leaves 🍃 if needed.

Will need to teat them and kill em all off if possible. The thrips are also outdoors on some of my plants, I feel they came from the bagged promix I got or they overwintered and travelled indoors. Light was a bit to strong at 100% when i grew taller, turned it down to 80%ish now till it starts to blooms. currently at 45cm hang height, Tent is having some issues with cooling down, even running the extractor is not doing much, so I prop the door open at the top and it helps vent it out. Maybe because of the vents the air is not circulating though and just travelling up one side of the tent, IDK. its a waste to run it past setting 5 on a 2x2 so the door will stay propped indefinitely. Still no smells unless I'm rubbing them, no signs of flower just yet, temped to top or LST but I think I'm going to let them go as is and get a good gauge on how they grow and yield. She start flowering day 22 quick one I think Update day 24 I try again some lst training and I let her grow I'm so happy on her size for day 24 she definitely big girl Day 27 I can see purple bud 💜 so happy hope she produce dark purple flowers 💜 but this strain never get tall usually around 60 to 80 cm

Man this week has been taking forever, my theory is it will only get slower relative to harvest just because my excitement. I top dressed with about 2 inches of worm castings with an eyeballed mix of 2tbps of bone meal (3-14-0, bloom fert.), 1.5-2tbps of Gaia green all purp.(4-4-4, I don’t have an actual potassium fert. Like leingbenite So I use this), 3tbps of dr earth kelp meal (1-.05-2 has many different vitamins, amino acids, carbohydrates) and 2tbps of mykos (for microbiology inoculation and nutrient uptake/upkeep). So I every time I water I have this old 2gallon water tin that I usually fill up about a quarter to half way full. Using this amount of water and the 5 gallon bucket of my soil mix makes my watering schedule once every 3 days (on average). I do use bottle nutrients but it’s mainly for the supplementing. For feeding I use 2-3ml to half a gallon for all bottle nutrients, I have never gone over, and I have never had deficiency’s that can hinder plant development. Deficiency's: PSA: Now if anyone happens to read and actually look at my plants please do look closely and maybe let me know if you see something that I have missed since I’m still very new. I noticed my plant was having a cal mag issue so that’s why I top dressed with worm castings, I also top dressed with about 3tbps of azomite (I feel using azomite it may help with all those unnoticeable deficiency’s that a new grower might miss). I’ve been noticing on some of the leaves the very tips are showing discoloring, since the color is still so vibrant mostly I can rule out nitrogen, phosphorus, Iron, manganese, and sulphuric. It’s still very early stage so I did an extremely light foliage feeding (in the dark to prevent UV damage) of 2ml of big bud, big bloom, and tiger bloom, mixed into half a liter of water, I then emptied the spray bottle and sprayed with tap water just to make sure there’s no nute burning. Today I fed the plant through water amendments with 3ml of big bud, 3ml of bud candy, 3ml of big bloom, and 2ml of tiger bloom;(my theory is hopefully the nutrient deficiency’s will go away) My soil mix is pretty basic. 40% coco, 10% perlite, 10% well composted chicken manure, 20% black gold compost, 20% worm castings. I’m not going to put the fertilizer amendment percentage to be honest I eye ball it but there’s a rough general measurements that I do.

1 Strain, same breeder, same tent and conditions but 3 different agendas. Molly is just over 42”, Meredith is 30” and Marissa only 16”. I think Molly’s stretch is over and the other 2 have a ways to go. This week I defoliated all 3 again to open up the bases and thin the canopies a little. I’m no expert but I’m learning and the ladies are looking great. Added some more coco to make up for the sinking and while I’ve been trying to keep this as simple as possible just using Advanced Nutrients and CalMag, after doing lots of reading I ordered some Big Bud for Coco and will be starting that when it arrives. Haven’t run the humidifier this week at all or the dehumidifier. Just letting it stay 45-55 on its own. Figured out how to gain almost 6” in the tent without sacrificing ventilation so got Molly back under the light fully, then she grew another 6” out of spite…lol. Great week! I love opening the tent and having the humidity and smell hit me in the face.

Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur 26. und damit zu meiner letzten Woche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts! Was war das für eine Reise, liebe Growcommunity, von Höhen bis Tiefen war alles dabei …😁 Nachdem letzte Woche fast alle Pflanzen gefällt wurden, ist heute der Lemon Tree dran. Die Ernte-Reports lade ich im Laufe der nächsten Tage hoch, da ich immer noch eine Kleinigkeit zu den einzelnen Strains und ihrem Anbauverhalten schreiben möchte. In diesem Report möchte ich die Saison noch einmal kurz Revue passieren lassen und eine kleine Aussicht auf zukünftige Projekte geben. Zur Saison: Was anfangs mit einem Indoor-Disaster begann, hat sich über den doch an manchen Stellen (mal wieder) eher bescheidenen Sommer zu einem doch ganz passablen Ernteergebnis mit 7(9) doch sehr unterschiedlichen und auf ihre Art besonderen Genetiken entwickelt. Ich habe diese 26 Wochen viel ausprobiert und doch echt noch eine ganze Menge über diese vielseitige Pflanze gelernt (und das, obwohl ich den Spaß schon ein bisschen mache). Und trotz allem werde ich. Ich werde mich doch wahrscheinlich etwas aus dem Outdoor-Game zurückziehen und das hat folgende Gründe: Ein entscheidender Punkt ist einfach der Grund, dass man wenig bis gar keinen Einfluss auf die Witterung hat und nie wirklich das volle Potenzial der Genetiken ausschöpfen kann. Sei es unerwarteter Regen, zu kalte Nächte oder der gute alte Sturm. Die Kombination mit der langen Kultivierungszeit ist doch oft eher mit Glücksspiel verbunden. Des Weiteren werde ich für die kommende Saison umziehen und den Spot (der wirklich die möglichst optimalen Bedingungen schafft) erst mal nicht bespielen. Zudem ergeben sich für das kommende Jahr viele Veränderungen und ich werde wahrscheinlich nicht die Zeit für so ein Projekt haben. Aber wir werden sehen... Was ich auf jeden Fall beibehalten werde, sind diese kleinen Reports jede Woche und der Austausch mit den Leuten auf dieser Seite. Ich habe mich über jede Rückmeldung eurerseits gefreut sowie über das wirklich positive Feedback. An dieser Stelle möchte ich mich bei euch allen bedanken, dass ihr mich auf diesem Weg begleitet habt, und hoffe, ihr hattet dabei genauso viel Spaß wie ich. Wenn der ein oder andere noch etwas mitnehmen konnte, noch besser!😊 In der Zukunft wird es hier (Stand jetzt) eher in Richtung Indoor/Living gehen. Einfach weil man mehr Einfluss auf die Klimaparameter hat und schlichtweg mehr aus den Genetiken rausholen kann (zumindest bei solchen Sommern wie diesem und letztem). Was die Genetiken angeht, wird es spannend bleiben. Während dieser Bericht lief, habe ich im Hintergrund fleißig Seeds gehortet. Und so haben sich das ein oder andere Päckchen aus dem Hause Karma Genetics (dem Master of Sours) sowie sq1 genetics + deren Schwesterfirma Robin Hood Seeds zu der Sammlung gesellt. Ob es jetzt genau die werden (oder doch eine von den gefühlt 2000 anderen Packs), kann ich euch allerdings noch nicht versprechen.😁 Ich denke auch darüber nach, mir einen Instagram-Account für Bilder und Videos in einer besseren Auflösung zu erstellen (nichts für ungut, Grow Diaries, aber manchmal sehen die Bilder aus, als hätte man sie mit einer versteckten Kamera aufgenommen). Aber was man so hört, bringt Instagram da auch seine Tücken mit sich. Aber auch hier werden wir sehen … Da ich keinen richtigen Ernteslot für die Blueberry sowie die Theia S1 habe. Füge ich sie diesem Bericht bei. Ein bisschen traurig bin ich ja schon, dass es jetzt zu Ende geht, aber gedanklich bin ich ehrlich gesagt schon bei der Planung neuer Projekte (man muss ja in Bewegung bleiben). Ich will einige Sachen in meinem Bericht stilistisch verändern, sowie die Aufbereitung der Berichte. Für den Anfang bin ich aber ganz zufrieden. Das soll es ein letztes Mal gewesen sein ( das klingt so endgültig, ist es aber nicht). Noch einmal ein großes Dankeschön an jeden, der das hier begleitet hat. It's hard to believe that this girl is about 7 to 10 days behind the skittles and banner. She is now growing taller than the rest in the tent. This lady is gonna be huge. The training has paid off and I've managed to a nice even canopy out of her. Real happy with this girl, by far one of my favourite strains and I can't wait to taste.

They got the formation that I wanted them to have so now it’s time to flip into flower. I took some clones because you never know what u got until the end. I also top dressed for flower and I started a compost tea I’m gone give them tomorrow, but other than that we off to the races baby!!! She was always thirsty! She drank almost as much as my 10ft tall plant & she was under 2ft tall?! Handled LST very well. She had an abundance of leaves which looked like a beautiful canna-bush growing but come trim time ugh not so much. Her leaves started turning darker purple the last two weeks, making her even prettier! She was only 14 inches tall (LST) & wound up having 65 bud sites.

10/06/2018 Week 3 flowering and she is developing very nicely, a couple of tops poking through scrog. Drain and fill reservoir, roots are huge it will be interesting to see how many liters it will take to bring up to full. 10/08/2018 Peaked at the roots, and they are massive i fear that she will be limited in root space, 6 liters to top reservoir starting out I needed 9 liters, so I guess roots take up 3liters worth of space! Time to keep close eye on water level, as feeding frenzy is about to commence.😀, and definitely getting her stretch on!,so if i get the Captains Cake taste, I be happy,cause she definitely got some stretch i wanted. 10/11/2018 Stripped lower branches under the scrog, good growth bud sights getting denser, posting before and after pictures of week 3 defoiliating.
