Day 22 - december 26 The hydro goes really fast now we can see the difference in growth vs the soil ppm 500 Ph 6.1 day 23 water change - 730ppm day 25 i cut off the 2 top fanleaves of the hydro and soil plant wich are blocking light on the stems underneath, now both plants have 6 main stems so both plants will have the same structure. nothing needs to be cut from here its just veg a bit longer and wait for flowers. also did LST on all 6 branches each has a string on them with a pencil attached to them to bend the young stems gently as you can see in the final video of this week. day 28: the hydro plant recovered from the too light nute mix new growth is healthy again theres just brown spots on the oldest water leaves. temps are also a bit low when lights turn of (15ceclius) in the res. i put the timer of the light now at 20/24 to keep it 2h warmer.

As the Ganja Farmer Seed's TKO is ripening and getting closer to harvest, I'm continuing to lower ppm levels while managing bucket water levels and ph. We're exactly at day 56 of flower (5/5/23) on Cinco de Mayo. The TKO reflects a flowering time of 60-65 days, so no more nutrients at this point. I'll continue to monitor Trichomes through next week (i.e., week 9 of flower). Once I see more amber (approximately 20-25%), I will begin a 2-3 day flush with straight RO water. At that point, she is ready to come down. The last bucket change end of week 7 strictly following GH's recommended dosage. That bucket change out brought an end to the ph swings she was beginning to experience. After the change out, the balance between water consumption, nutrient uptake, and ph is spot on. Specifically, while plant is up taking water, ph and ppm have maintained stability. She's looking and smelling incredible. There is a learning curve with DWC - no lie - but I've enjoyed the experience. She is an aggressive grower and challenging for maintenance. All in all, great genetics. 11 September 2018 - Day 78 Higher pH than wanted. Nutrients increased, so far so good, no negative results. Second stretch about to occur. Climate better Day 79 - Slightly lifted tips, will watch nutrients and heat. Day 80 - 600ml Water added 6.0 - 0mg Nutrients, to dilute heavy use of nutrients. A few leaves removed to open up light on newer bud sites. Day 82 - 500ml Water Added - 0mg Nutrients. LST Tightened alot to expose lower buds and increase overall bud. Day 83 - Nutrients added, lets watch her double. Day 84 - Happy with grow. Red viens in leaves and slight stem... beginning research.

Week 2: The adjustment Hello dear growers and groweresses, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the second week and have continued to grow. But they also faced some challenges that I will tell you about. The adjustment My plants have adapted to the new conditions in my room this week. I realized that I had my lamps too close to the plants and that they got too much light and heat. This resulted in them not developing as well as I had hoped. I therefore hung my lamps higher and reduced the intensity of the light. I lowered the PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) from 400 to 280, to give the plants a more comfortable environment. The PPFD is a measure of the amount of light that the plants receive per square meter and second. The higher the PPFD, the more light the plants get, but also the more nutrients and water they need. The plants accepted the change very well and recovered quickly. They started to grow stronger again and formed more leaves. They also got a nicer color and look healthier. One plant that suffered a lot was the Frosty Nightmare. She was overwatered and had trouble developing. She was smaller and weaker than the others and had yellow tips on the leaves. I therefore gave her less water and moved her away from the other plants, to give her more space and air. She recovered and grew again. She is still the smallest of all, but she has potential. I also increased the temperature in my room by 1 degree, to give the plants more heat. I set the temperature from 22 to 23 degrees Celsius, which is still in the optimal range for the plants. The plants liked that and showed me that by their growth. I let them vote democratically, by observing the plants and interpreting their reactions. :D The water filter I also want to introduce you to my water filter from Watertrim, which I use for my grow. It is a great product that saves me a lot of time and money and is also better for the environment. The water filter has only two connections: an inlet and an outlet. So it has no waste water, which would otherwise go into the drain. It has different options of the filter, depending on how much water you want to filter and how high the EC value of the tap water is. The EC value is a measure of the electrical conductivity of the water, which depends on the dissolved minerals. The higher the EC value, the more minerals are in the water, which are not always good for the plants. My filter filters at an inlet EC of 1.0 1000 liters, before it needs to be renewed. Since my tap water has an EC of 0.5, I can filter 2000 liters with it, until I have to renew it. That costs about 100 euros and works easily and quickly via the post. The flow is almost 1 to 1 in speed, so no more waiting. I can tap the water directly from the filter and use it for my grow. I use the filter as follows: I tap water at the filter. I pour normal tap water on it, until I have an EC of 0.3. I add fertilizers etc., depending on what the plants need. I check the EC again and adjust it if necessary. I also adjust the pH value, which should be between 6.2 and 6.5, to ensure optimal nutrient uptake. I give the water to my plants. The water filter is really a great product, even if it is not very cheap in the purchase with once of 240 - 390 euros. But it pays off in the long run, as it saves me a lot of work and costs and also improves the quality of my water. u can find it here : https://watertrim.de The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the second week. My plants have adapted well and recovered from the problems. They have grown further and formed more leaves. They have recovered well and showed a great growth. I am very excited about the next week, where it goes to the repotting and the ladies can try fertilizer for the first time. I will fertilize this run only a little late, even if I use osmosis water this time. The soil from BioBizz is really great and can carry the first weeks well alone. Woche 5 Die Money Maker bekommt seit dieser Woche nur noch 12 Stunden Licht, damit Sie in die Blüte geht. Die Wurzeln entwickeln sich auch weiterhin gut auch wenn sie nicht Weiß sind und im Eimer manchmal sehr wenig Wasser ist da die Pflanze sehr viel trinkt. In dieser Woche habe ich an der Money Maker wenig gemacht außer das Lit auf 12 Stunden gestellt und die Dünger Komponenten auf die Blüte Phase geändert. Nach den Topping letzte Woche finde ich hat die Money Maker eine richtig schöne Form bekommen. Bei Fragen einfach die Frage stellen, genauso bei Verbesserungen und Tipps für mich. Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. Let me just say I had to combine 2 grow cycles because this strain was a bit of a pain in the ass ..as you can see the first time all my plants hermied but on this last run I came out with some pretty great looking /tasting bud that gets you almost too high!

Week 4 was awesome 😮‍💨 🌱 Growth phase is great and on schedule for an upcoming nice and big plant. Started the LST on day 25, gave her a big and nice stretch and she is loving it, filling up the whole space in the 8 gallon fabric pot already =) Roots are almost coming out from the bottom, she is loving the feeding recipe. My guess is that this lady will become a monster, what do you guys think? Any comments will be highly appreciatted 😜

slow growth after last weeks defoliation treatment. plant seems to be taking new solution well. hoping that the density will come this week. they are sticky and smell good.

Some brown hairs are starting to come through now & the buds are starting to dense up, also the different smells in the room are getting strong now.

Cant wait to harvest them. Only water right now. Till the harvest. Dense headbud. Lets see what the results will be.

Empieza la sexta semana. Esta debía ser la última. Pero todavía quedan unos días más, así que me voy a extender a 7 semanas. Se pueden ver algunos cogollos grandes y voluminosos. Algunos otros no tanto, pero sin tanta diferencia. Hice una solución bien cargada para aprovechar la última semana de engorde. Espero llegar cómodo a la cosecha y sacar buenos resultados. Ya fumé algunas hojas con la pipa de agua, y el sabor y potencia se empiezan a notar. Seguiré actualizando cómo se termina esto. Día 38. Todo sigue muy bien. Las flores siguen engordando y las hojas llenas de tricomas. Creo que a pesar de algunos detalles, el resultado va a ser interesante. Ya es la cuenta regresiva y de no mediar problemas habrá una cosecha abundante. Por ahora se prende intermitentemente el ventilador a la noche, por lo que no se ven problemas de humedad. Pero ante la duda en cualquier momento coy a dejar prendidos los extractores toda la noche. Día 40. Estoy viendo que unos pocos tricomas recién se empiezan a poner blancos. Por lo cual puede ser que incluso se alargue una semana más de lo que pensaba, llegando a 8. Hoy llegó el overdrive de advanced, pero no se si usarlo en esta planta, ya que depende de la maduración de los tricomas si empiezo el lavado en tres días, o no. El engorde es muy notorio en estos días, así que ya estoy bastante conforme. Aún así voy a ver si es necesaria una semana más de nutrición o no.
