Oct 30 - Milky and clear Trichomes on mature plant, I suspect she's very close to harvest. The other plant is a little behind, with mainly Clear and Cloudy Trichomes. Continued to defoliate dead leaves as they're found. Senescence is starting to resume with colder temps. Oct 30 - Watered Mature plant at 7.30PM. Checked Trichomes, they seem pretty close. However some calyx' aren't pumping in volume + Stigma/Pistil colour whilst others are full with brown / orange coverage 50%. Oct 31 - Defoliated and Watered younger plant at 9PM. Nov 1 - Watered mature plant at Noon, purple starting to present on more colas. Nov 2 - Watered younger plant at 10AM. Trichomes on younger plant are mainly clear with one or two amber on calyx. Nov 3 - 8AM Watered mature plant, checked trichomes - more amber appearing in calyx - although clear trichomes still very present. Day 83, I suspect Day 90 will be chop day. I'll put both plants in 50 hours darkness on Day 87. She's Oily, when defoliating, My knuckles were slimy. Nov 4 - Amber Trichomes definitely present on calyx' Lower budsites are slightly behind, I might be chopping earlier - In fact, I'll put them in 48 hours of darkness starting tonight. If the younger plant is not ready, which I suspect the case - I'll resume regular lighting for another week or two. Nov 5 - After getting feedback, I'm surprised to see I have another 2 weeks. The purple plant is definitely putting on size. I suspect the weight of buds will be too much to stand freely.

We are coming up on the last week of these girls based on time from flower and trich ripeness. I will not feed them again as there is more than enough in the soil for them to finish. I will dry them in the room then clean and reset it for a no till living soil in 10 gal pots. Also upgraded the saucers to heavy duty plastic ones. Something I can lift even full of liquid.

About this diary> So I've made it to the end! This baby didnt die on me! This diary was half a record for myself, to keep improving and contrasting against my future grows in and out of this wonderful platform (growdiaries), and half a tutorial for other noobs like me. That's why I wrote somewhat long explanations about some of the things I myself found confusing during this and last grow. I also repeated myself, but again mostly because I was trying to learn while doing. I got some help from other growers in the community, which was very nice, and different from trying to figuring out everything by oneself. This girl stretched a lot! from about 30 cm at the end of flower to about 90 cm before harvest, it survived nutrient burn, an accident were I dropped something heavy on her on flower, accidentally chopping a branch during LST and spider mites. However, still yielded nicely. I cant imagine what these genetics could become in the hands of a master grower!! About the growing conditions> The idea of the grow was, not only to learn how to grow a somewhat long flowering strain (6 week veg, 10 weeks flower) but also doing it very cheaply. I think the most expensive thing I bought was the seed from RQS. I built my own light fixture (from 4x 4.00CAD COBs from aliexpress), some cardboard, wire, sticks, tape and aluminum foil. I also used dollar store nutrients (like 15% of a 15-15-15 veg mix, and a 15-30-15 flowering mix). I timed this strain to finish a few weeks before the temperature really starts dropping outside, and was always able to keep it around 20-29C without any air conditioner/heater. About growing amnesia haze> I harvested this plant on the early side, but I found it a challenge not to harvest earlier! Since many weeks ago the delicious smell has been filling the room and some parts of the house... Plus, its a long wait... However, I think it was very well rewarded :) As I said, the high is creative, giggly, energetic and uplifting, at least from the premature samples we got. I will update this once the real deal is dry and cured :) About the harvest> Well in terms of numbers, I will update this when the weed is done drying, but I can do an estimate right now... each sample I took weighted about 1.45g wet, and dried to a 25% of that (0.35 g each)... It means that what I weighted from the harvest (412.86g + a bunch of trim) would probably weight about 100g when dry... Let's see how it goes in a week or two :)

Reviewing the plants i noted some small dots on the leaves which looked like typical bites from mites, so i sprayed some spidermite and we placed around 6 spical ulti-mite bags to prevent any further damage, lets hope it dont get worse but i think I've detected them just on time 😁 For the rest the plants are looking good, the buds are getting bigger and more thc is being produced 😁 we still have around 4 weeks to go 😅

●Day 49, end week 7. Added bembe, Boomerang, and blackstrap molasses to the diet. Noticed some brown freckles on a handful of leaves. Hopefully the cal and mag in the molasses will help get me through another week before the big flush🤞 recalibrated my p.h. meters. On to week 8 ●Day 44 just picked up a new microscope (Wireless Digital Microscope, ROTEK 50x and1000x Microscope Magnification with HD 1080P 2MP Camera, Mini Pocket Handheld Microscope Camera with Light Compatible for iPhone Android, iPad Windows Mac) via Amazon. So, sorry for the blurry trichome pics. I'll work on it. This diary will focus primarily on Big Bud by Seedstockers for the remainder. But the agent orange will finish her journey. 8/31 Week 7 and the damned tent is full .... such problems err? 25 sq ft of green, did not expect this really was hoping the extra space would allow more plants but this is full on 5 Plants doing well just trying to make em all fit Nuets remain as is These girls be a growin! Defoliation to try and get they to fit in the tent a bit easier, removed fan leaves. 9/1 Upped PK to 2ml/g the cotton balls have begun Both hit 30" tonight and are becoming exceptional plants 9/2 Still stretching but seems to be slowing now 31" both plants 9/4 Major defoliation cleaned bottoms middle tops get the buds in light and help them fit in the tent better. Still hitting about 1 inch-ish a day nut seem to be slowing

En cuanto a las plantas las veo verde claro, con carencias debido a viajes y dejadez mis, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también. Mulberry Day 35 All is well. In stretch and transition to flower. She is a proud 28 inches tall. I tied her four bottom branches down to open her up some and get better airflow and light penetration. As an experiment I have only been removing the newly formed branches at her nodes and leaving the fan leaves alone. Seems to have an effect on branches being healthier! *** watered her last night with 1 tbsp each of coco bloom A&B. ***Day 38*** All is good with Miss Mulberry. Stretch is in full swing, she is now over 34 inches tall and growing strong. Flower development has begun to pick up as well.

Buds are continuing to build and all is well. The plants is really thirsty and taking lots of water. All is well.

2 days on 12/12 . The plants aren’t stretching at all. I tried raising the light to 70 cm and reducing the power to 65%, just for the first week. I’m starting to add a bit of bloom fertilizer to the water, and in two weeks I’ll give the first dose of guano. I also used to grow peppers and tomatoes there, so I hope nothing carried over into the substrate. Talk to you again in a week (didn’t have time last week). Have a great weekend, everyone!✊

HARVEST WEEK 112 DAYS 50 VEGGING 62 FLOWERING + 2 Days Dark Rest. This week has been a week of bringing out a great smell. I have done all I can, myths, about dark resting, drying the plant whole, roots and all has been done. I can see the resin glistening, hard to see on camera but it's there, they are hard and very sticky. Only 1 out of the 3 loss their complete rock hardness and that was the Purple Og Punch, in fairness the leaf to calyx ratio is high, so is expected, the other 2 have got softer since the dark rest, but a lot lot sticker, so, this must be normal, if someone was just coming in, they'd just say they rock hard but I mean they were that hard if you threw 1 at a wall you'd wanna be ducking or you might get knocked out🤣🤣, ok, maybe not that hard. But they are super sticky, so super hard nugs I can forego for the price of sticky buds. I'm expecting on the dry+cure they'll harden up as the density is there, and go back to the way they were, no doubt. She has been struggling to hold herself up right, so, I hung her with roots and all, gave her a good shake. I usually just put up a harvest but because Idk what the smoke will be like, I'm not going to put ☆ up as you can't change them, hopefully GD will fix this, but they got a whole site to look after and the system they got now works, so hopefully on the next upgrade, who knows. But I'll leave the mark and smoke report/dry weight all in the 1 day now, I'll just be adding my own harvest week. As many ppl do who wanna rate after they sample. She has many colas, a lot of unevenness, but for my 1st mainline, really, it's just a shit load of LST and a T shape, as a real mainline has exact or thereabouts the energy should be even, (every cola) But in saying that, I'm happy. Not sure about wet weight I don't bother with that anymore, as I don't have a hang weight scales and I'm not chopping my plants up 2 get one neither, so guesses will do, I usually put up 5x the dry weight as wet. Will update harvest week with all results in one blow so when it goes live ppl can see it for what it is and not miss out on smoke report as that doesn't get posted, the most important part, well, I think so. Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.
