Was a real experience to grow the Darkdevilauto, with these Strain we could see a lot of what a ganja plant can resist, the two ladys are amazing but the vipaspectra has a bigger, strong and clear smelling, the second Lady look also greatly under the Mars hydro pannels but in thc production we see a gigantic difference. These clones were mixed up & are either Orange sherbet or Tropicana cookies or they could be both! Unfortunately from experience growing them before they are very hard to tell apart untill late flowering. Originally grown in DWC ,all 3 got root rot at one stage Due to extremely high temps around 35°c. Had them in a 4x8 tent, running a 6 Inch adjustable speed exhaust fan which couldn't get temps lower than 33°c in our summer heat of 40°c days & nights! Moved back into 4x4, fan works good in this size tent reduces temps 28° to 31° max. Had to cut out rotten roots on back 2 plants & put them back into veg for 2 weeks until they came good, I also took them out of DWC & put them into recirculating hydro & put back into flower. Since then they have really taken off & are very healthy & lush. The 3rd plant at the front is 4 weeks into flower this one also got root rot at a different time, but I left this one in flower. I trimmed the root rot out & have had some issues with her, I also changed her from DWC to recirculating hydro as it's more forgiving in the heat & it's how I've always grown until recently doing DWC without problems in the past. All the bigger shade leaves have turned yellow, not sure if it's still something to do with root rot or a deficiency of some sort. Just trying to get this one over the line at this point 🤞🙏 increased light wattage from 480 to 730watts running 2 viper spectra lights (250watt) inside my Mars Hydro FC-E 4800.

Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Running deep red, far red, and UV at 100%, combined with whites at 50%, is delivering incredible results. The ability to fine-tune the spectrum is a game-changer for resin production and terpene enhancement. Nutrient & Soil Rundown On the nutrient side, the solution measures: • pH: 6.67 • TDS (Reservoir): 65 ppm • Solution Temp: 18.3°C Soil stats show a TDS of 695 ppm, indicating there’s still some nutrient reserve left in the medium—a perfect transition into the flush phase. It’s all about ensuring the plants have enough to finish strong without compromising flavor or smoothness. A Garden of Many Colors The fades across the room are a sight to behold. So this week is week 1 of transition, I have cleared about 40% of the girls fan leaves trying to make sure I get as much light penetration as possible I have about 16 main colas on a couple and between 8-12 on the rest looking for some solid results, going to add all the good stuff next week and lets get ready to watch the magic happen!!!

the plants aren’t using the calcium and magnesium because of ph problems so the leaves are showing deficiency.

Day 28 update: I think the light was too close to the plant, so I increased the distance to 50cm. It should help with the stretch of lower branches. Then I switched to Advanced Nutrients feed chart, adding 4ml/L of A+B formula and 2ml/L of other additives (for every liter in the reservoir). This made the ppm go crazy. Let’s see what happens, but I don’t like these unclear instructions. Ph Perfect keeps the ph stable for just a few hours, and they don’t say anything about ppm. Bad! Day 30 update: LST session + defoliation on fan leaves that were hiding lower branches. Day 32 update: transplanted to her final 20L AirPot (from a 5L one)! Added some michorrizhae as well where I placed the plant. Since I got a bigger pot, now it’s 250ml of solution every hour, instead of the previous 125ml. Day 34 update: immediately stopped using Advanced Nutrients feed chart (from their calculator) because I had that crazy 3100 ppm in the reservoir and noticed a small sign of overfeeding on a leaf in the top. I removed part of the solution and added tap water back until I got about 800 ppm. NOT HAPPY! Day 35: LST! Again

We had problems with nutrients but that was controlled with the adjustment of ph the growth is going well we are in the sixth week.

The plant started stretching out a lot more as opposed to last week. A lot more bud sights growing. Has got a thick stem to it. Overall really happy with it, considering the starting conditions.

Hello. There are 2 rental houses behind our property and I've been concerned in past years about being ripped off. So I thought a baby monitor would give me more of a secure feeling being able to monitor the greenhouse while eating meals and to have it on while I sleep. It has infrared red light for night vision but I don't know how that will affect the plants in the dark if I put right in the grow tent. The plant are growing great and getting heavy already and we still have 5 weeks to go. I found a large bud vertical yesterday when I walked in. So I had to spent a couple of hours tying up the bigger buds. I got 1/2 the table and I will do the other 1/2 today or tomorrow. I sprayed the soil with Spinosad again to get the spores into the soil so they can come in contact any insect larva and latch on and grow. I'm still waiting for the nematodes to arrive. I imagine the Bug Lady is very busy this time of year so it might be a few more weeks before I see them. I haven't seen any powdery mildew in the garden this year so far. These plants are supposed to be mold resistant anyway. We had a hot spell a few weeks ago and a temperature of over 40* C will kill the spores. But it's always good to keep these type of things in the back of your mind so you can be prepared when it happens. Till next week. Chuck.
