Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. La semana comienza bien 👍 la planta se ve sana y esta creciendo con fuerza. La he aplicado sus primeros nutrientes añadiendo 5ml de terra Vega de Canna a 1L de agua ajustando el pH a 6 y con una temperatura de 25°C Veremos como responde a la poda apical que la hizimos la semana pasada, aunque parece por el momento que va muy bien 😉👌

Es geht in die Blüte 😃 Ich kenne den Strain noch nicht und rechne trotz topping mit einer starken Streckung in den erst ca. 4 Wochen. Ich liebe es ja jedes Mal zu sehen wie schnell sich die Pflanzen entwickeln und nach Umstellung des Lichts verändern. Ab jetzt werde ich bei jedem gießen den Mineralischen Dünger von Plagron verwenden. Trauermücken nerven hart sollten aber dank fressfeinden bald Geschichte sein. Ich bin gespannt 😉

Okay so the result of my LST surprised me like a lot. The plant looks great under the light, it’s still my second grow so I hope to learn a lot about the beautiful plants and how they respond. I want to experience everything to learn from them and know how to respond. I think this week went good but the dry wet cyclus is something I really needed to learn this week. I first tried watering every day but i noticed that the soil wasn’t dry at all, so I thought no that’s maybe just the soil. *Ive learned this cycle in the next week* spoiler alert: it wasn’t I still give around 1 tbsp of the molasses because the plant is really responding good to it. The small plant is also looking healthy so perfect, just keep giving her love. I did a big oops: So, the plant grew bigger and bigger and faster then I could keep up. So I decided to lst some more, Olga went perfect and I build a lot of confidence from that. So... busy with the other “big” plant and I started doing the head top, but the band was just to tight, but I noticed that to late *SNAP*. Did I just snapped the biggest branch of the middle plant? Yes, I hated myself for 4 days until I thought: there are no mistakes, just happy..... (fill in with your brainpower) well see what happens

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. To do this, I used LST at Dr Grinspoon and tied the lady with hooks to the Cocos / Terra substrate rubter. I will do this with her more often, just like I will topping her more often because she will grow too extreme in the bloom. It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. Hello. This is the end of the veg cycle and the first week in flowering. It's May 30/2023. The Breeders Description said 8 to 9 weeks of flowering. That should take us to August 1st. That would be the start of week 9 and Aug. 8th would be the end of week 9, so I plan to harvest around then. The greenhouse looks a little different than last time. My buddy Jerry brought me some bamboo (he went out of his way on his birthday to do that for me) What A nice guy he is. I used 18 of the longest pieces to make a Scrog type of net to hold up the big buds I hope to get. First year to try this bamboo thing. Hope it goes good. I might have to tie it up tighter. I did a good trim/prune, under the table mostly, but did remove some big fanleaves up top that blocked the lower branch ends/tips from seeing good light. I think it's also good to remove the big fanleaves that don't get much light any more. It promotes more growth up top. While trimming I left the branches that were growing straight down. I'll trim them off today for cuttings, for clones I'll make later. I mix 10ml of liquid seaweed with 1 gallon of water to put the cuttings in. I'll make 6 cups for 6 different plants numbered 1 to 6 so I don't mix them up. 😁 I'll pack up the lights later. I'll mix some transition to flowering, nutrient solution tomorrow. week intel: we reached the peak of flowering stage and need to cause a little more e.c stress from this week so e.c stress is twice a week i reduced the amount of Nitrogen and calcium and stopped feeding silicate in other hand i raised the amount of base nutrient and booster short story version: more K & P - less N stresses : a little E.C stress around 1.6 and 1.7 twice a week from this week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them high with base nutrients(calcium & micros (half dose) + Bloom) about 822 ppm - 1.6 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 525 ppm - 1 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them high dose of Feeding Booster around 850 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause e.c stress again guide of the week : from this week we can cause more E.C stresses. e.c stress if done correctly is one of the very few ways to increase quality in all aspects ( color , aroma , taste , bud structure , resin contents ) but if you over do it , listen carefully brother : it can reduce quality in every aspect so always look for signs and never reach the red line.

Well I'll say I didn't put as much time into it as I should have but it was quite or a pretty fair grow considering it's my first time growing anything.I've learnt alot and looking forward to my second grow

Lst went well. She is the smallest girl out of the bunch but excited to she how she holds up. Gave her a top feeding of ecothrive charge for the intense training in the next few weeks. She bounced back from lst the next day and I topped her for the first time on the 5th node. It was a bit daunting as this is my first time topping. Looking forward to the next few weeks with all the girls. Seeing them grow into thick lush women. I am considering scrogging all these girls. It will be my first time doing this so any advice would be really appreciated. Also I will be super cropping them as I have never done that either. You can’t really do many things with autos, apart from watch them and lst. Photos are way more forgiving and I think I will be doing this type of growing from now on. On another note, I will be taking cuttings a week before flipping to 12/12. If anyone has good advice in that department, then I would be very grateful if you can give me any advice. As said before, I'm incredibly happy that I got to harvest a little bit. Never expected her to make it, but she kind off did! The smell was pungent and sweet like an amnesia haze should be, hoping that will be even better after drying and curing!

All I can say at this point is these genetics are stellar. She is still putting on bulk and has formed some truly beautiful colas. She's showing mostly cloudy trichs at this point so I believe I may chop her next week. I am not wanting to go too far past peak THC production as I am not looking for sleep medicine with high CBN. The smell is floral and quite pleasant to behold. She's frosty and looks like she will press into decent rosin when all is said and done. She's just coasting now, drinking plain pHd water and enjoying the last of her time in the tent. Really looking forward to the cut on this one. Growing this strain was a delight! It was fun and easy and i didnt have any problems throughout the grow. Buds are thick and heavy. Smell is creamy and fruity and i cant wait to taste it. I would recommend this strain to everybody!

So the story continues... this grow is really an experiment for me to train one plant within my 4'x2' grow space to ScrOG vertically and use the SP250 light on its side. For the majority of the vegetative stage the light will be hung normally above the plant until a week prior to flipping the light schedule and initiating flowering. The plant passed its seedling stage and has been vigorously growing albeit showing strong signs of over-watering and calcium deficiencies. It's really a transpiration issue which I have not solved yet. Increased distance to light as the plant may be growing too fast for its root mass. From feedback at Coco for Cannabis (CFC), it is a Cal deficiency and a young plant getting used to the grow in coco - quite common and not a sign of over-watering. Measuring run-off EC at each fertigation event as I increase the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is now maintained at twice a day (at lights on and 4hrs prior to lights off period) to maintain the target EC. Some say OG Kush is a mix of ChemDawg with a Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush. Others say that it’s just a special cutting of ChemDawg from the early 90s. The most obvious trait of OG Kush is its strong, unique, very dank, slightly citrus aroma, almost like fuel or strong detergent. The flavour of OG Kush is equally as strong and dank, with a long-lasting aftertaste. Strong mental and physical high - OG Kush is an extremely strong cannabis strain, with most experienced smokers listing it as one of their favourites. The effect is as strong physically as it is mentally. Though its effect is like an Sativa, the strain's genetics are mostly Indica. The effect is as strong and complex as the flavour. OG Kush takes around 8 weeks to flower and on average the yield is 500 grams per plant. Big buds with lovely tones - OG Kush is known to stretch slightly during growth but soon starts to fill out during flowering. Generally, it will reach a height of 90 to 160 cm. First week flush with off gassed tap water at a ph of 6.5 to 6.9. I'm pushing them extra long and so far results are responsive and look very promising 🍾 . On the suvineer box the seeds came in was labeled with 7 to 8 weeks indoor an 9 to 11 weeks outdoors. Very happy with this from Victory Seeds ..... dripping with resin. 👌🤪👍
