~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2205 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #2 is just enormous with tons of bud sites and flowers that are starting to get a coating of white trichomes giving her that frosty appearance! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. Both testers are extremely healthy and in max flower mode. Both testers are looking amazing and always in a constant state of 'praying'! Another solid week! I've been watering every other day and feeding once per week. I added Cal-Mag this week as I noticed some deficiencies on some fan leaves (little brown spots in middle of the leaf). I defoliated Alana really heavy today! She needed to be opened up for sure! I hope she responds well!! I also defoliated Anna a little as well. Anna grew 6 inches this week and is 26 inches tall!! Alana grew 5 inches and is 21 inches tall!! Otherwise, things are going well... they stink something fierce!! WOW!! I turned the T6 up a level.... Currently running at 6 out of 10! Cheers!!

everything is fine, the rains have stopped and it seems that the plants are quite mature, I think I will harvest them next week. It has been 2 weeks without watering with fertilizer, making the washing of roots as natural as possible. They have developed a very beautiful purple color in just 2 weeks, because of the stress caused by the cold. I have also found some worm and some rotten bud but usually it is holding very well. I found a leaf of a very powerful pink color, much more than I had ever seen, and that color is not repeated throughout the plant, I leave some photos. chekit

This week, the buds will grow a lot and you can feel it🌱😍 In this week, the booster must be fed to the children from this week onwards🌱 I always use booster green house feeding😍😍

Interesting to see how different the phenotypes of the same strain can look. Pretty much doing the same as always. Quite a lot of light. Some height issues. but whatever. Will likely take 2-3 more weeks due to the slow flower development early.

I think this is the sort of strain you need to pheno hunt and keep a mother. It was crazy just how different they were.

Preflower! Yesterday i did some lollypopping and final LST on the HerzOG's, i will let them do the stretch now and stop all LST so they can regain some height and strength before flower really sets in. It has been two weeks since i last added BioEnhancer so i added that for todays watering. I water them more or less every three days now with 1.1 - 1.2L pH'd water, i started with 900ml after i transplanted them to their final 11L pots. I'm feeling pretty good about this grow, cant wait for them to grow some fat nugs 😏😁 🙌

Finally finished building my DWC tank this week. So far everything is working great. Per the week 1 grow question suggestion I have added a water transfer pump to top off the 27-gallon reservoir. 2 seeds died during germination, will add another 2.

Girls are thriving to the max looking like an awsome harvest coming in around 6 more weeks From the rate they are growing its going to be at least 8 ounces hopeing for close to an elbow(pound) My ppm went up to 1420 from 1160 cant get to some fresh water till tomarrow . having no sighns of stress hope it will be ok till i can bring the ppm back to the 11 hundreds .Im the one stressed atm crossing my fingers the girls dont get burnt before tomarrow

The smell of these 2 girls are amazing , smells like berries / fruit , and really fresh , I have trained them quite a lot so the flowering has delayed but the amount of bud sights are unbelievable and are all really starting to fatten , said it once and I’ll say it again , blackberry 420 fast buds best strain/seeds I have ran to date I have loved watching this plant grow and bloom into what she is now carnt wait for some more colour to come through

Day 13 from seed and she growing up so fast No feeds this week. Little water now n then, had to top up the soil as she was getting a little bit leggy. Lights running 50% at 45cm from to of plant 18 hour days. Extractor fan turned on today on low fire day light hours for now. Got a few fungus gnats, they are annoying but when don’t you get them. Let’s get it 💪🏽

I cant beilve how big hybrids and xxl auto grow these are the best results I've ever had i won't be going back to autos again sweet seeds have a really good range of f1 hybrids and autos I haven't had a problem with any of there seeds so easy to grow and loads of fun can't wait to start more

I had to go out of town twice for 5 days for a business trip. Minor errors occurred at that time. It's an easy genre overall. You should not be afraid of fertilizing too much. I'll be back with comments on taste, dry weight and feel. By the way, I'm waiting for your dry weight estimates, I think it will be between 145-165 grams.

A great week for the girls, started with some defoliating after figuring out where our net would be. Mostly the lower leaves and lowest sets of bud sites that would be popcorns or larf later. Also took a couple larger fan leaves to open them up for the light, and tied down the freshly healed topped main stems to even out the canopy. The diary was extended 2 days (and our diaries are late lol, birthdays) as we are flipping on the first of July, the net is around 70% full or more as of dropping it and tucking some branches. I'll probably shift them slightly, they'll be in the same spots but moved to give Blue Dream some extra tucking space. She's Sativa dominant and likely to stretch the most along side Apex and possible Citradellic Sunset but the journal's i've seen her stretch wasn't as severe lol. With extra tucking space, and being next to the taller hybrids it should help keep the right side canopy balanced. Both sides have their own 4x4 light. Bud Ignitor has been added on the last day. We will continue defoliation for the first two weeks of flower focusing on the under side of the canopy where it's shaded, and removing any suckers we find. There were signs of a Ph imbalance on Citradellic Sunset which is my own error, tap water Ph vs Nutrient Ph, not in soil anymore! lol But she has recovered happily and is growing vigorously. Still no new TDS meter so we stick close to the feeding schedule from Advanced Nutrients with some tweaks. We feed twice a week, Feed/Feed/Water. So instead of the full 4ml of base nutes we use 3ml each watering and they seem happier. 2ml of the additives but most are only added once a week except for Sensi Cal-Mag, Bud Candy and now Bud Ignitor (we also will use Big Bud, Nirvana and Overdrive twice a week). The final watering is PHd to be the same as the feed watering. Max strength base nutes have always burned the tips of my plants, I almost backed off to 2ml of base nutes twice a week as 3ml gave slight tip burn to the smaller Say Less and White Wedding but they have adjusted to it and new growth is healthy. I will most likely edge up to 3ml more gradually next grow. We are still new to scrog but I feel we are off to a better start this round, last time the net was completely full and I don't want a second net.

Purple afghan kush 1...she has taken her purpyra color ... there is very little left for her to be able to taste this variety ... she has a smell of tender wood ... sweet smell ... she did not grow enough but if she dedicated herself to fattening her head ... purple afghan kush 2 she had about 15 worms ... look for them one by one ... she did not grow well from the beginning ... I do not know what happened to her growth and flowering ... her buds are small ... let's hope she tastes good ...
