Time lapse 23rd June > Aug 21st 2020. Plenty of screwups - over/under watering+ feeding + pollenated the tent with one hermie, two plants throwing nannas (due to UV) out in the last two weeks and the major heatwave all did not help, This was totally my screw up and for that I still give this strain a solid 8/10. The tastes are nice although my first try of Runtz was in Cali and it is certainly another level over there. Unfortunately I did not get a pheno similar to that I smoked in the US but out of the 5 I did get I really enjoyed one of them which is hard hitting! Apologies for the time-lapse as its not always spot on and often other things took over. Stuff never goes the way you plan it in your head. Upon drying the temps were good and they dried okay. The reason why this is a write off is because one of the plants hermied and caused most of the plants to be pollenated. When I harvested I noticed a few nannas poking out so I'm not sure if I let them run too long, too much stress, underwatering, light intensity, the UV bar or heat stress. Anyways I didn't catch it and I have some well developed seeds. I think it's down to the UV bar causing the nannas but the seeds were ripe (tiger stipe brown) so didn't have enough time to grow and ripen. Seeing as I had deficiencies early on in flower - WK4 - I think it happened then. The PP and runtz all have seeds bar one plant (the nice gassy pheno) and the tent was cleaned with bleach, vacuumed and temps increased to over 100f with a heater after disinfecting. Nevertheless I will grow this again! it's all a learning curve! More bud shots to come when cured. Just over an 1oz per plant is pretty poor imo but again you live and learn from your screw up! Got to be on point with my watering next time! That's why I love hydro!

Buen domingo y buenos humos!

Just waiting and watching trichomes & pistils. As of today all the trichomes are milky, but not all of the pistils have changed colour. A lot of them are still white. So on she goes!!! 😎

So much growth. I had the 1000w light up to 100% for a bit but it's just too hot so I put it back down to 75%. Dec 19: this one has some burnt leaves. I can't exactly tell if it's nutrient burn or light burn. I switched it into the cooler spot the White Widow was in, and I added a bunch of water. This one drank maybe a third of the water since Friday, at least twice as much as the other one. The pH on this one is still reading really low but my tap water is 7.8 and the White Widow is 7.6. I'm just going to watch it before I start adding pH up. It's very strange. This one is still stretching like crazy at the main cola points. She's starting to bloom but not as much as the white widow.

1/5 - Day 51 / Day 23 flower - Feeding Day Pots were mostly dry on this day, last time they were fed was a little over a week ago on day 43 (12/28). I've done two small waterings since last feed, about a half gallon of water for each of my 5 gallons and about 8oz of water for my bonsais. My plants are drying out within about 48 hours of each small watering. For today's feeding I went to full strength on my nutes. My solution consisted of: - 1 gallon distilled water - 3ml CalMag - 3 tsp of FF Big Bloom (full dose)) - 2 tsp of FF Tiger Bloom (full dose) - pH: 6.9 - TDS: 342ppm - EC: .7 I gave each of my 5 gallons about a half gallon of the fertigated water each which wasn't enough to produce runoff. I gave them each about another 1/4 gallon distilled water to generate enough runoff to test. I tested the runoff of my Z52 which gave me readings of: - pH: 6.3 -TDS: 1600ppm -EC: 3.2 I gave about 12oz of fertigated water to each of my bonsais. My ZB2 runoff posted readings of: - pH: 7.2 - TDS: 594ppm - EC: 1.2 My TDS readings are definitely low compared to the FF Soil Feeding Schedule. The suggested readings for week 7 are an EC of 2.8 - 3.0 and 1960-2100ppm. Not stressing too much over the reading as the girls are looking healthy and happy. Will add another feeding in between waterings if I start to see any nutrient deficiencies but I don't see any cause to do so at the moment. As you can see from the picture on 1/3, the super cropping I did on 1/2 didn't hurt my girls one bit. By the following day, the tops were already bending back toward the lights. This was a big relief. **************************************************** 1/7 - Day 53 / Day 25 Flower Light watering in the morning today using pH'd dechlorinated tap water w/ 4ml of cal mag. Gave about about a 1/4 gallon to each for my 5 gallons and another 8oz each for my bonsais. **************************************************** 1/8 - Day 54 / Day 26 Flower Noticing signs of nutrient issue on the Z51. Surprisingly, no signs of nutrient issues on the Z52 despite using the same solution and roughly the same amount of water during the feeding day on 1/5. Decided to do a heavier watering tonight, using about 3/4 gallon of pH'd dechlorinated tap water. Hoping that dilutes the soil a little bit and pushes the salts toward the bottom. **************************************************** 1/9 - Day 55 / Day 27 Flower Nutrient issues did not appear to get any worse overnight so that is encouraging. Did some minor defoliation on my 5 gallons this morning to remove any of the smaller branches on the lower 3rd of the plant. Haven't completely removed any branches that are below the trellis. Will start pruning more regularly every other day so I don't shock the plants too much.

Welcome to another enchanting update on the marvelous journey of my Lavender Auto from Seeds Mafia in Week 4 of flowering. Get ready to be mesmerized by nature's autumn display! Last week, we marveled at the floral extravaganza unfolding before our eyes. Our Lavender Auto, a true superstar, continued to grow with unrivaled elegance, boasting perfectly formed fruits that are nothing short of botanical artistry. Each bud is a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship of Mother Nature herself. It's a sight that fills my heart with pride. However, keen observers might have noticed a gentle hunger in those vibrant leaves. They seem to whisper, "Hey, dear gardener, a little extra something would keep this blooming party going strong!" Fear not, my leafy friends, for I am here to cater to your botanical cravings. As the weeks progress, a delightful change starts to occur—our Lavender Auto's leaves begin to fade, revealing enchanting autumn colors. It's like a natural kaleidoscope, painting the plant with warm hues of red, orange, and gold. This phenomenon, my friends, is what we call the autumn fading phase. But what does it all mean? Well, as our Lavender Auto nears the end of her flowering journey, the plant redirects its energy from foliage production to the development of those magnificent buds. The fading leaves are a sign that the plant is transitioning, focusing its resources on the precious flowers that will soon grace our presence. While the absence of prominent lavender terpenes might leave us longing for that distinctive fragrance, fear not—it's a journey that unfolds over time. Just like a captivating story, the aromas and flavors of Lavender Auto will reveal themselves gradually, adding an extra layer of excitement to our green adventure. Patience, my friends, is the virtue we shall embrace. Now, let's indulge in a moment of fantasy—a day at the spa with our Lavender Auto. Picture soft music playing in the background, scented candles casting a soothing glow, and our green goddess luxuriating in botanical bliss. Maybe a gentle massage for those hardworking stems, which tirelessly support the weight of such floral magnificence. Oh, the sheer luxury! Before I bid you adieu, I must express my gratitude to the incredible creators, Seeds Mafia. Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to cultivate such a stunning Lavender Auto. Your genetics are truly exceptional, and our flourishing plant is a testament to your expertise. Keep sowing those seeds of greatness and spreading the love! Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of 3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. Medical Mass is a new medical cannabis strain with a high CBD content and a low THC level that provides good medical properties without a strong psychoactive effect. This is a mostly indica plant that contains 40% sativa and 60% indica. Critical Mass and CBD rich strain were crossed to create this amazing valuable variety. The plant suits both for indoors and outdoors, for beginner and experienced growers. The strain grows up to 60 - 100 cm tall and produces good yields for such height of about 500 - 550 gr/m2. The plant demonstrates great results even in small spaces. The flowering time takes only 7-8 weeks and the harvest comes in late September. The smoke brings very strong, intense flavors with sweet notes of honey and skunk and an intense pleasant relaxation. Medical Mass is the great choice for each medical user due its small height, ease of growing, fast flowering and of course great medical potency. 2017-09-01.
