First attempt LST tie down stems on Gelato 41. I decided to try lst on Gelato 41 since she charged out of the gate full force and was taller than the other sprouts. From the side view, the node structure is very close. I thought since she was shooting up so quickly, there would be more space between them. Week4 I was using thin wire pins for the last. I had to switch to 1/2 garden pins to hold down the stems. As you can see she is very short and bushy. The tight node Structive is indicative of indica dominance. Lots of leaves. Looks like an afro hair do. Pic 5/24, 5/27, 6/2. Put mirrors under the canopy to add more light 6/5. Start week 5 water feed. Check pins as her stems are strong and push the pins up. 6/7 water & feed 6/9 water & feed 6/11 water & feed 6/13 water & feed light deformation 6/16 1 gal flush Gelato 41 She's the last gal in the tent to start flower. Nothing yet. 6/25 pics 6/26 took her out of the tent today and put her outside. She is one of my Afro girls. I See flowers today. 2 months after the seed popped the soil. I thought she was an auto but maybe fast photo. I will say that she is very bushy. Because of the LST, she has an even canopy with at least 20 or more tops. 7/9 pics. She has acclimated to outside very well. It's hot and humid and we have had lots of rain. Her colas have shot up in bud formation. This plant has thin leaves.much different from most other strains I've grown 7/12 more pics showing LST tie down and bud development 7/22 more pics 7/30 outside girls.

Day 42, everything is chuggin along pretty healthy. Definitely some seeds in most of them which bugs me. The whole tent reeks tho which is nice. Some of the citradellics look like they are gettin pretty close so I'll start keeping an eye on them. I had to take the pics again and was strugglin so they arent my best. I have to go thru them still so I got the video up and tmm or as soon as possible I'll get the still shots up✌️ 2 and 3 look pretty good but 1 is on another level right now shes sweatin like a hoe in church. The aromas coming off her take over the room like rotten citrus it's one of my favorite smells. 1 and 2 have more awkward looking bud structures but still decent. 1 was so under wated before last nights feed it was flopping over everywhere nearly dead but after an hour showed improvement, it just dries out so much quicker than everything else it's hard to keep up with.

The stretch is amazing! This plant is a real sky king! Buds are really stacking well on most of the branches. A major recovery from the massive defoliation from last week! Internodes are Sativa like. Branchy. BHB 1 is a monster! Around 19 viable bud sites. She's taaall. Lollipopped the lower quadrant for airflow and to redirect the growth where it is needed. BHB 2 is the shorter, slightly younger plant. Shorter and has about 1-12 bud sites. Five branches are taller than the rest (This is a similar trend in #1). The buds are looking healthy. I do get the occasional burnt leaf from my heater at night. Another week of stretching and another big defoliation and that problem should have sorted itself out. Just found out my res temp is at 62°F. I've started the circulation fan in my insulated box in sync with my exit fan. When it gets too warm, it'll start not only my exit fan, but also the box fan. Should raise the temp gradually back up to 65°. Where I like it. Still, no one has complained. Growth was/is still vigorous and healthy! Keeping the PPMs at around 800-900. Going to do a straight water flush for 24 hours, then start again at 500 PPMs or so. In soil I've always done periodic flushes throughout the cycle of the plant. Usually twice in veg. Once at around 6 weeks and another at transition. The third is at week four of flower and the last is the obligatory final flush. 24-48 hours after the flushes, there is a strong and vigorous spurt from the plant. three days later 'in soil' I go back to nutrients. DWC requires much less time to do the same thing, so 24 hours, it is! I've done two flushes so far and the experience in DWC is the same. Just faster. I highly recommend trying it if you haven't already. Although the root rot is essentially gone, I continue to brew my microbe tea using Advanced Nutrients Tarantula. I add a litre every forty eight hours to each plants res. This is just prevention at this point. There is so much peat moss and soil left in the root ball when transplanted from their soil, it just seems prudent. Future grows will be done 'sterile. With no organic material or biosphere (microbes)... unless we run into problems again. With the res temps so low, I don't think it'll be an issue. Ok Blue toof is really doing great. She smells of sweet fruit, it is a very nice smell. Raised ppm to 680 she was fine at 600. Defoleated all the bottom. She sure showing her indica traits. The leaves are nice and fat. Her stem has gotten nice and fat also. It is the biggest of the bunch. I really like the shape and branches are also nice and fat. Hung the second light. So let the show go on.

Smaller outcome then expected and the smoke test went well, clean smoke and tastes insanely well and turpy even before the cure, cannot wait to see it in a few weeks

Day 47

Continuing to reduce nutrient strength. Started flushing with R/O water near the end of week 7. Everything is starting to fade with purples coming out and reeking of fruit punch gas. This slurricane pheno leans more on the purple punch side. I ran another pheno which leaned more on the dosidos side in the past but the bag appeal just wasn't there with the finished product. Sorry for the shitty pics... my iPhone camera is just not cutting it at the moment.

I trained them down to be more bushed out and watered with a PH of 6-6.7 and did a weekly water of Fish Shit. The humidity was at 57 then eased into a steady 52 for the rest of the week.

Wow she looks awesome!!!! I really don’t know what else to say. She smells pungent with a fuel odor. She has big buds buds big as my head!

9 weeks and 3 days to harvest Not much to say until 3 are harvested and dried/cured Will update when the time comes.

So, my method of germination is, I use a small glass container with some distilled water, I place that with my seed in a cabinet on top of an (AC infinty) seedling mat on 14 strength. My seeds develop tap roots within 24 hours. After that I place seeds directly into my medium. Btw, I do not put her in the amended soil, I dig out the center and use a seedling starter mix to prevent stunting from the nutrients. On day 12 she was looking thirsty and I was going to give her another day but decided that I was going to go ahead and give her a small dose of recharge, she is one day now away from early veg according to FastBuds timeline. I'd say she is right on schedule, also looking very healthy. It is day 13 and her height is 5" , and this will conclude my germination portion of this grow diary.
