Start of the new week, some good growth seen.. can't complain, strong vigorous growth in a short space of time. Can't wait to see how quick she grows over the next couple days. Stay tuned. Day 26 - very quick growth from this one, in two minds about letting her go a bit longer in veg, or to flip to 12/12 at the end of week 4. So far so good. Day 27 - so far doing super good. Im due to flip as i cant wait anymore with the other girls needing to be flipped. But i shall see how she does, no doubt ill be running her again. Stay tuned.

July 27: staring week 7 and she seems to be preflowering but I’m going to force flower this auto by sticking it in the dark garage with my photoperiod plants. The change to 12 h of darkness for a couple weeks should kick it into flowering mode. I’ve seen a few growers commenting that their Auto Overdose wasn’t auto flowering and I don’t want to wait any longer to find out. It’s the end of July and things need to be flowering by now to finish in time before winter. The stem I broke a few days ago is showing signs of life and looks like it will more or less recover. Update: Changed my mind and removed stem as it was slowing overall growth. Cut the loss and move forward. C’est La vie, etc. July 28: plant has an okay shape considering I broke a stem. Nice lower branches came up after the plant was topped. Looks promising. July 31: looking good. Removed a single large fan leaf at the top that was shading too many bud sites.

This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.

🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Aptus Holland Pack Unboxing & New Additions This week kicked off with a big arrival: the Aptus Holland nutrient pack! 🙌 I couldn’t wait to share the unboxing with you all; there’s a video up where I go through all the goodies, so check it out if you haven’t yet! Between the photos and videos, you’ll be able to see just how well these nutrients are already feeding these green beauties. Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Leaf removal is all about balance, giving the plant space to breathe and thrive while still maximizing growth in flower! 🌐 TrolMaster + App – Real-Time Precision Huge shoutout to the TrolMaster system and the app—keeping everything in sync and at peak performance is honestly effortless with this ecosystem. The app provides a full overview of each environmental parameter, allowing me to make real-time adjustments as needed and track trends over time. The precision here is unbeatable, giving me complete control over temps, humidity, CO2, and VPD, ensuring my girls are in a controlled paradise 24/7. What I love most is how the app records everything automatically, so I always know exactly where things stand without having to keep separate records. If you haven’t tried TrolMaster yet, it’s a total game-changer for any grow setup! 💥 Shoutouts & Gratitude Massive shoutout to TrolMaster and Aptus Holland for powering this grow with tech and nutrition that’s second to none. And, of course, gratitude to Pro-Mix for the superb growing medium and to the seed banks behind the genetics. We’re running strong thanks to each of you. And to the whole community—thank you, everyone, from new friends to seasoned followers, lovers to haters. ***English version*** Welcome to Week 4 of Flowering! 🥦🥦🥦🥦 Hey everyone! The fourth week of flowering has begun, and it looks like the stretch phase already wrapped up last week. There hasn’t been much vertical growth—Runtz A now stands at 48 cm, while Runtz B has reached 59 cm. Today, I didn’t do a full defoliation but simply removed a few larger, obstructive fan leaves. The buds are visibly increasing in size, and Runtz B is leading the way with impressive speed. She seems to be about three days ahead in development compared to Runtz A. One of this week’s highlights is the incredibly intense aroma filling the entire tent. The sweet notes remind me of a mix of ripe tropical fruits and berries—absolutely irresistible! Although the two plants have some visual differences, I’m now convinced they share the same phenotype. Everything is going according to plan, and I’m excited to see how the buds continue to develop in the coming weeks. Until the next update—happy growing! 🌱

Pheno 1 dark purple : On the nose, it reveals a sharp burst of fresh lemon, layered with a powerful eucalyptus aroma that’s both invigorating and camphorous. A truly refreshing and vibrant terpene profile😈🍋 Pheno 2 Green : this one is a real surprise! If I close my eyes, it’s like Nutella! It’s as if you’ve just walked into a kitchen where hazelnuts have been freshly roasted 🤤🌰 Pheno 3 light purple : It’s a mix of the first two with a hint of amarena cherry at the end🍒🍧

So far plain sailing, I raised the light as I was riding it a bit close and in a weeks time I will defoliate for the last time and remove any unwanted growth from the bottom.

Checkout my Instagram @smallbudz to see the Small budget grow setup for indoor use, low watt, low heat, low noise, step by step. 30/11/2019 - Struggling with high humidity, change led strip color from red, green, blue to red and green. 1/12/2019 - Checked and adjusted the light distance. 2/12/2019 - Pot feels light and dry, gave her 1,5l PH 6.3 with a 1/4 of recommended Biobizz nuts, notice almost no run off. 3/12/2019 - Finally her first pistil appeared on the main stem I was starting to get worried.

She’s slowed down on her stretch and started to produce flowers! She very sturdy and has very thick stems and sun branches. I’m intrigued to how she’s going to yield as she’s so huge and full of vigor as she was nearly a couple of weeks behind when I started her and look at her she’s a beast! Next I switch over to over drive for 2 weeks then initiate flush! So close but yet so far ya know 😉
