This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

This week has been sunny, hot and wet. I have not done a thing except to keep an eye on Miss Dancing Dosidos. It has been a hot and rainy week and I did not feed this plant this week. That is why I did not record Ph levels and PPM, etc this week. I have really wanted to give this diary an honest, straight up review of Miss Dancing Dosidos growing in whatever Mother Nature threw her way. We have braved the elements of nature thus far. She is tall and thin but has a lot of bud growth. I am eager to see how big her buds will get. One thing that I have not been super pleased with is using Miracle Grow as a nutrient. This outside grow was an experiment using Miracle and not my typical Fox Farm nutrients. At this point in my grow, Miracle Grow needs to remain for garden vegetables and flowers NOT cannibas. As a result, I have made an Executive Decision and will going add some @Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the remainder this grow. Stay tuned to next week and comments are always welcome. Pheno #1 is getting fatter and fatter by the day although she is starting to fade out a bit. It’s a shame I had to tie her down because I swear her main cola would have been a foot long 😂She is also sensitive to light and has received slight amounts of burn and bleaching. She is the largest of the three but she has the least amount of resin and terpenes which is a bit unfortunate... She smells earthy, no banana scent or fruit terps like pheno #2. I still have about another 4+ weeks to go so that could easily change but we will see. I will try to be optimistic! Pheno #2 is a frost monster. She is completely covered in resin and trichromes. Her smell is out of this world, definitely has that banana fruity type smell. I don’t think I have smelt another strain quite like this so I’m very excited to see how she continues develop. Pheno #3 is a bit funky. She is stretching and getting bushier but she is extremely slow to flower. She has tons of shoots and bud sites. Almost every popcorn type branch at the very bottom raced to the top of the canopy. I feel like she hasn’t changed in the past couple weeks but maybe that’s just me being impatient. She is developing some interesting deficiencies but only on a couple leaves here and there. She is also somewhat lackluster compared to the other two. In my opinion she is a little dull looking... It’s odd to see how all three pheno’s are expressing different traits regardless of being grown in identical substrates with identical feeding schedules. It’s hard to say if it’s the genetics, substrate or the nutrients but I have a strong feeling it has more to do with the medium not being properly balanced. I normally would never grow with such a light substrate but DP grew theirs in a similar medium so I thought for the first time around I’d try to grow similar to their style. Next round I’m definitely going to switch it up and use the NFG or a custom soil blend I’ve been developing for auto flowers. It should be nice to see how a commercial soil compares to a homemade organic soil tailored for auto flowers. I’ll most likely run that experiment within a month or so once I get my new grow space setup. This week I’m going to lay off the nutrients and feed with some compost teas and microbes instead. In the video you can see my smaller brewing bucket. This is a mini-Microbulator along with an air stone. This allows for maximum dissolved oxygen saturation and also helps with preventing anaerobic spots in the brew. Set up a new space for future grows. Flushing begins for the Og kush and blueberry. All three plants are incredibly sticky, stanky, dense and heavy! The OG Kush plants are blowing my mind, I'm amazed at how much they have fattened up the last week. The super lemon haze starts week 7 and is also sticky and stanky, she's also starting to pack on weight and density.

Flowering is starting and i did some defoliation. Watering only with water but the Glookies got just 2 times in 2 weeks some biobizz flowering, top max and growth because it got kind of brighter. Also supercropped some of the to high mains so that the central canopy stays mor or less even.

This is week 3 of flowering - realistically week 2 since pistils have shown. All is starting to balance out humidity and temps, I’m still running a bit too warm at 28 but al fix that further down the line. Done a light defoliation on week 2 and another light strip of blocking fan leaves today. I still can’t get this Lumi over 250w with the 2 Mars hydros middle running at 50% and the end right light running at 75% so I’m hoping later on I can reduce these Mars and atleast get 400w on the Lumi by week 4/5 flowering But all is looking well - strains that are already starting to chuck out is this purple punch x dosido and the rs11 smaller bushy pheno type are looking fire.

UPDATE GUYS!!!!! So the girls are doing great I got some new genetics also I'll be doing for my next grows and so forth, but yea just watering as necessary, I really really feel that this process is a learning curve for me lol, mainly because I've learned from the past that everything comes with progress trial and error, so I'm learning which I accept so its okay its okay haha but things are progressing and ill stay up to date with this for you guys thanks!!!!

24/08/2023 - made a 2.2sh solution with 2ml bio grow, 8ml bio bloom, 8ml top max, and 6ml bio heaven and fed like 40% of it today and will give the rest tomorrow. 5.5ph and 735 ppm was the measure readings. Did not gave nutes to the monster cropped one, only plenty of plain water. 26/08/2023 - gave the rest of the solution to them. noticed today some deficiency, plants must be requiring more nutes for the flowers

First I merge the HDR image from 3 bracketed shots, then I apply my custom color adjustment in the HDR resulting image. As i show in the video, to correct the red light, you have to enhance the blue and green curves, just play with a point in the curves until you find the best adjustment for each of both curves. @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement.
