She has done well throughout the vegetation she has many five fingered leaves and a few seven fingered despite the harsh conditions she is holding up well receiving around 300 to 400 mls of water each week and the substrate left with at least 15% in it. She suffered a little bit of light burn and likes the distance kept at 50cm. At the end of the vegetation the double kush cake’s canopy has split wide open and she now stands approximately 50cm from the soil.

Another week and the root growth is letting me know we're close to transplant time, which is a good timing with my tent getting ready for a new cycle. I pulled a few lower leaves off her to keep that energy pushing up to the top. Based on the leaves, she appears to lean to the OGKB in her lineage, so this should be a nice candidate for a scrog to get the most of the business of the strain. The hardiness of this seedling is definitely a testament to the breeders efforts in offering quality feminized genetics. Check them out on Strainly or see their site for their other offerings.

9/2/25 Overall I'm delighted with these. 17 weeks grows for me are few & far between. These 2 phenos had 7 weeks in 2L pots. And were put into a 20L pot of coco/pebbles and gives 10-14 days to recover and were flipped. I purposely grew them this shape as I had to make sure I kept them apart if hit with WPM or anything like that. As grows these long, buds this dense. And running a tent with a bunch of mixed grows from done to days into the start of the 12-12 flip. I would have liked to run for another week on a 100w light and high doses of UV but because of such a mixed bag of grows in my tents. Running reds/uv just wasn't even attempted. 10/2 She smells absolutely amazing, buds are super big, sticky & very smelly. They're still mainly hard for the moment. And leaves not even limp. So, I removed the big fan leaves to allow air to move around better. They're hanging behind my 100cm2 tent kept out of UV rays.

Planted germinated seed on 6/6. The girl on the right came out first, followed by middle, then left by mid-week. By end of week, each stood about 3". Sporadic light watering throughout the week with a dropper at the base of the sprout, spritzed the soil surface and inside of humidity domes which were placed over pots periodically. Only the two 150w COBs are switched on, the 100w QB is off to protect the babies.

Sept 10th She was ankered to the fence with rope. Notthing to report really. Looking great no sign of mould. Heads are yellow looking. Pretty bizarre. From a distance its is really striking...does'nt show in pictures sadly She is next up for defoliation, together with Killer Kush. Few more days rain till sunny period..fingers crossed. Day 59 week 3 of

This is the beginning of week 3 in bud. I’ve decided to not put the ATF plant in my bud room this round. I’m hoping she will just keep growing slow and my clones will eventually catch up with her so they can all go in together next round. The buds have definitely starting to swell up this past week. They all seem to have bounced back from their week 2 lollipopping. I’m very excited for this Melato in the back. She’s obviously outgrown the other 2 strains I have in the room currently. She’s also started throwing off the most smells as well. With some really strong indica OG gas smells. But other than that, everything normal this week. Just plain PHed water every other day. Dam these two have just blown my mind in terms of ability to handle stress and environmental changes . The platinum bananas is the best looking plant so far the healthiest look and vibe , the ripper is also doing very well and looking very bright green and strong smell.. I'm going crazy till next week and can't wait for that flower time ..cheers

Week 1

One of ap colas fell and bent overnight due to the weight on her stem lol. Fixed the problem by using some tape and a support beam for her. Other than that they r both starting to stink up a lil bit and are growing healthy. Completely flushed them at the beginning of the week to wash last week's nutes out for fear of rootrot. Will give them nutes for there next feeding.
