This strain was easy to grow, short and very bushy. The smell when drying has an incredibly strong earthy/chocolate aroma which is very pleasant🤤.

Just starting the 3rd week, I’m at 1/2 strength on the nutrients, will be changing water and nutrients every Saturday. Looking good. Roots coming thru. So far so good coming into second weekend of clean water and more food on Saturday. Really starting to get full. 8/18 Fresh water and nutrients today and both topped. Finishing out the 3rd week all topped and ready to bush out.

This plant was one of my favorites to date, it was a perfect grow. She was so easy, she never showed any bad signs on her leaves, always was super happy. I accidentally topped her at about her 4th week or so when I was inducing LST on her. Didn’t even phase her whatsoever, she just branches off and did her own thing, I got her under a screen and the magic started happening, she bubbles up and came out with an crazy amount of flowering points. The amount of flowers she showed and then the color she showed during her fade weeks was unreal, her colors reminded me of something you’d see during fall season when leaves are changing outside. Super colorful and extremely sticky. I had to change my gloves and clean my scissors every few branches, a problem I never mind having. This is one of my top plants I’ve grown today, with the color and the size of the nugs it was a flawless grow. I tooted my own horn on this one to myself. 5 ounces is a stellar result and I’ll take that on any grow. I couldn’t recommend this strain enough and will definitely be in future grows for sure. Thanks for stopping by growmies, I hope to see you in my future diaries!

Beginning of week.. I raised the lights a little.. They are at 50% power at 18" (roughly) from the plants. The ladies are getting from 420 to 500 PPFD. Went ahead and fed them some extra FloraMicro this week.. I'm guessing they are just very hungry girls.. And I'm thinking the pH in the rootzone issue is not clearing up at all.. BUT.. It seems like no matter what pH I water them with.. The runoff ALWAYS comes out at 5.8 or 5.9 with the Mandarin Cookies and 5.8 or 5.7 with the ETHOS Cookies.. So if you want to reuse your coco coir.. Make sure to remove ALL the roots. The girls dont look too bad at all.. And that's why I'm guessing they just needed more nutes in the mix.. We shall see how this week goes! Mid week.. They are looking alot better! Mandarin Cookies is exploding woth growth.. ETHOS Cookies is growing slow but she is growing for sure.. I think I may need to remove a node or 2 on the ETHOS Cookies.. I could just leave it.. But the very top 2 are covering alot of tops.. I could make some clones from it.. Hmm.. All-in-all.. I'm happy with how these girls are growing for now tho.. This rootzone issue isnt going away.. But I think I found a way to make it work out.. I've been watering a little differently.. Here is a bit of an example: Day 1: Feed at 6.5 Day 3: Water at 6.4 Day 5: Feed at 6.3 Day 7: Water at 6.2 Day 9: Feed at 6.5 Day 11: Water at 6.4 Day 13: Feed at 6.3 Day 15: Water at 6.2 Etc... The runoff is staying above 5.5 each time.. But as I lower the pH, the runoff pH lowers as well (obviously).. So I think watering this way has helped keep these gorgeous ladies happy.. And theyare also very hungry.. I may have to start watering one plant every other day.. Water plant 1 tomo.. Water plant 2 the next day.. Then plant 1 the next day and then plant 2 the next day etc... 1 reason I want to start doing it that way is because I think the ETHOS Cookies isn't needing as much nutes as the Mandarin Cookies.. But they are looking great. Very happy and so are they! The heat has been insane lately.. So at the hottest part of the day I try to just turn the light down to 25% for 4 hours or so.. I hate having to do that.. But it's all I can do for now.. Or maybe change the light/dark hours.. Blah.. Whatever, they are happy! End of week.. I supercropped 2 branches.. They pretty much healed up and are already back to normal.. Like it didnt bring them down any lower at all lol.. It straightened back up and its as if nothing happened.. Just a big ass (MOOSE) knuckle lol.. But I stopped using the Kushie Kush and was just using the normal Gen Hydro FloraBloom in the mix. Will be upping the FloraGro next week! Wow.. Such hungry ladies! It's been so long since I've grown a bigger photo period.. I forgot how much they can take!.. On to the next!...

Week 7: Bloom Phase Launch & Heat Resilience Update: 04.07.2025 | Day 52 Temperatures peaked at 37°C this week – all plants handled the stress like champions. Zero pest issues. Took them out of the greenhouse to prevent heat stress. Adjusted feeding to address yellowing leaves. Strain Progress: Forbidden Runtz Officially in full bloom mode. Buds forming densely across the canopy with visible resin on sugar leaves. LST created a perfectly even structure. Emits a distinct sweet-fruity aroma when brushed – taste potential is promising. Minor yellowing on lower sugar leaves addressed with Bokashi boost. Otherwise impeccable health. Green Crack Caught up to Forbidden Runtz in size. First buds forming across all tops with early resin glimmers. Less bushy than Bruce Banner but likely needs 4-5 more weeks. Aroma present but subtle – awaiting signature mango punch. Strategic tie-downs continue to balance secondary shoots. Bruce Banner The standout performer. Bud sites exploding from every node under heavy LST. Top-down view reveals exceptional cola distribution. Responded best to training – poised to yield heaviest in the trio. Genuine testament to FastBuds' genetics. Feeding Adjustment: - Crushed Biotabs dissolved in water (50ml concentrate per 10L) - Added to every watering with Bokashi juice (1:100) - Targets yellowing while accelerating nutrient release Next Focus: - Monitor bud density development weekly and watch out for pests - Monitor plants for nute deficencies and to ensure the best growth as possible Catch ya next week. – Smoking_Joe_Frazier

Day 30. Girls got water and bacterial feed yesterday. Grow well. Some stretching too much, lights should be lower ... But I alway can use SuperCroping ;))) Hope in two weeks all old plants will be gone and girls will occupy space correctly. Water , then Heavy feed in plans this week, I updated my approx feed plant, just bacterial feed I give once in a week, or in reality approx every 10-11 days .. Constantly spray them with one ml/L of BioHeaven. They get it at least in the morning and most days straight before lights go out. My older plants are almost done, so I have to play with humidity, but never forget BUD ROT !!!! Loads of leaf tucking and small training involved too. Btw, look at plastic pot, all same feed, spray, care, but without humidity dome ... Plant was out, when all other were just dropped into soil ... Mars SP 150 helps me so much in such overcrowded space .... Happy Growing !!!

&&&&&__ WEEK 4 VEG / FINAL TRANSPLANT COMPLETE___&&&&& ***!!!!FOGGER WORKS AWESOME!!!!*** Introduced and created the ultra sonic fogger humidifier. This thing rocks it works so damn well. Being in Arizona we have ZERO humidity plus if you have AC to cool it just takes the humidity out anyways. This thing only effects the tent and its hooked up to a constant supply line and float so zero hassle. No... if your wondering it doesnt soak anything inside the tent it leaves ZERO water marks moisture or residue absolutely no spotting on anything including the lights. ---->👌I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS SETUP FOR ANYONE IN A LOW HUMIDITY SITUATION. 👌<----INSPIRATION AND CREDIT : 👽 This on https://allgrowers.grobo.io/t/everything-flora-flex/4636/1192. 🌿 Week 3 – Transplant Week – Lava Cake (Zamnesia Seeds) 🍰 Grower: Dog Doctor Pheno Selection: Lava Cake #1 & #2 Pots: 11L Amnesia Fabric Pots Light: Future Off – Black Series 600 Environment: Dual air systems (TrolMaster + Spider Farmer) Feeding: Hand-watering (for now) Monitoring: TrolMaster ecosystem (in progress) ⸻ 🌱 Transplant Time – Rooted, Ready, and Rising This week marked a major milestone: our two selected phenos, Lava Cake #1 and #2, were officially transplanted into 11-liter Amnesia fabric pots. The girls are thriving, roots are pristine white and full of life, and the energy in the tent is buzzing with potential. We celebrated the moment properly—with photos in the studio, of course. They looked so beautiful, they deserved the spotlight. 📸 We’ll try this again next week, before they grow too big to carry! ⸻ Why Fabric Pots? We chose Amnesia fabric pots for their root-focused benefits: • Air-pruning the roots naturally, preventing circling and encouraging a healthy root ball • Increased oxygen to the root zone, supporting microbial activity and faster nutrient uptake • Better drainage, reducing the risk of overwatering • Durability & sustainability—washable and reusable Fabric pots turn the container into a living zone that breathes with the plant. And now, these queens have the space they need to express themselves fully. ⸻ 🌿 Soil Mix & Nutrient Support We prepared a rich, bio-balanced super soil transplant mix, boosted with Aptus Holland amendments: 🔄 Transplant Mix: • Super soil base • Aptus Mycor-Mix – inoculates roots with beneficial mycorrhizae • Aptus Micro-Mix – promotes microbial diversity and root health • Aptus Substrate Buffer Powder – stabilizes pH and nutrient flow 💧 Feed Mix (per liter): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml (stress support & nutrient flow) • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml (structure & balance) • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml (base nutrition) • Aptus Start Booster – 2 ml (root & shoot stimulation) 💦 Water Stats: • pH: 5.83 • EC: 1.01 • Water Temp: 18.5°C We continue to bottom-water—placing the solution in trays and letting the girls draw it in themselves. This promotes downward root expansion and avoids oversaturation at the crown. ⸻ 🌀 Airflow & Environmental Control With multiple strains in one tent, proper airflow and environmental balance are essential. • 2x 6-inch Extractors (one TrolMaster Aerofan, one Spider Farmer) • 1x 6-inch Intake Fan • All fans are filtered with carbon filters to purify air and manage odor, even early on. Prevention is key. The Aerofan is controlled by the TrolMaster system, giving real-time response to temp and humidity. The Spider Farmer fan is managed by a GGS controller, running parallel automation. • Room Temp: 27°C • Humidity: 57.4% • CO₂: 632 ppm • Light: Full-spectrum from the Black Series 600—compact, clean, and consistent. This environment isn’t just “good”—it’s being crafted as a living ecosystem. One that will evolve into semi-automation, allowing us to trust and fine-tune from the TrolMaster app. ⸻ 🔍 What This Week Is (and Isn’t) What it is: • A foundational week: transplant, root expansion, environmental balance • A chance to observe and support the transition without stress • A moment to shift from “starter energy” to serious vegetative growth What it isn’t: • A week for heavy training—we’re letting them root down before any top work • A time to overwater—bottom-feeding keeps everything stable • A race—slow roots = strong fruits later on ⸻ 💬 Final Words Our Lava Cakes are happy, lush, and ready to grow into queens. With their roots now in rich, living soil, and the tent gradually evolving into a precision-controlled jungle, we’re laying the groundwork for a clean, healthy, and joyful flowering run ahead. More studio photos soon. More lessons too. This isn’t just a grow, it’s a journey of discovery, shared with love.
