3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. Next increase will be Week 1 of Flower. 3/26/2023 Week 6- Day 2 of Veg (Day 53 overall) All conditions looked great. Other than me not putting one of the humidifiers back right which means it didn't work last night so Humidity was lower than I like. But got the Humidifier back on it's stand correctly and it is now pumping away. With that I decided to give the plants a day off from any stresses, no topping, no FIMing, no Defoliation for today. Well it turns out those little white spots were a leading sign of spider mites. I loaned my loupe to my buddy and don't like trying to use my hand microscope directly on a plant so I did some minor surgery for inspection... and there's Nothing creepier than seeing little mites scurrying around on your babies. Pisses you off too. 😡 So we made a trip to the local hydro store and my friends there recommended Plant Therapy. https://www.lostcoastplanttherapy.com/ This stuff looks Way safer than some of the alternative products. In fact, it turns out Azamax from General Hydroponics (which this same local hydro store had sold me a year or so back) can no longer legally be sold so they removed the product. Exactly why Azamax is a problem he didn't say... but it is referenced heavily in a positive way in what is now my growers reference Bible which I've provided a picture of here somewhere. "Marijuana Horticulture Fundamentals" is so far beyond anything I had before it's humorous. I grew a couple 4 plant crops in my backyard about a decade ago and all I had was stuff written in the 1960s and 70s. I look back on those now and laugh - hippy sh*t. I managed to turn the negative heat temperature in to something positive by introducing co2 to the environment. As a result of the diy co2 method some of branches grew up by 1.5 inches in 2days! Will continue to utilise co2 in the box for now. I also had to adopt the defoliation method Way to many leaves could cause problems by raising the moisture level in the box. As a result of the defoliation a lot of light is reaching the bottom of the box. Which means I can grow other small plants in the box. I switched to bloom NPK ratios. Slowly introducing the raw mix. It’s doing fine and as allways no tip burns

16.4.25: I have retied the fabric ties again, as they're growing like crazy. Trying to open up the plant, to grow out as well as up. This will also create new colas. At this stage, I'm trying not to over fertilise like I did with the last grow. Focusing on Cal-Mag amino acids and Mega Crop Part A. The medium is my custom super soil, which is already fertilised with Ecothrive dry amendments. So I could just add water. However, as we've already run into deficiency, that would be careless. I find it easy to keep an eye on the plants and carefully inspect them daily to act quickly when issues arise. Learning how to determine the issue is what I'm still learning, which is the hard part 😅 It's all fun though, and I'm really enjoying this grow with all the toppings and FIMs. So far so good! 23.4.25: I hope everyone had a great 420! Fastbuds Mystery seed #1 is doing well, she has stayed bushier relative to the RQS Northern Lights, also there has not been so much growth. The bud sites are developing well and have tight internodal spacing. I'm determining when to relax the LST as we are now in the beginning of week 3 flower. I do have height. However, I'd like to keep it reasonable. You never know when they will stop growing. I'm not really adjusting any ties since the last time. I have also noticed that there are signs of Nitrogen excess. Instead of Mega Crop Part A and Cal-Mag amino acids, I will use Bud explosion PK booster with the Cal-Mag. This will make the N5 the only Nitrogen being given. It still may be too much, but will monitor closely to see the effect this change will make, if any. Balancing the nutrients is very important for me to learn, and it's going to be an ongoing process. I watered today with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients: ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Bud Explosion PK booster by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients 23.4.25: Plant seemed to be drinking heavily, so I watered again with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with;- ♡ 2.5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients, and ♡ Ecothrive Biosys 1/8 tsp. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring yhe ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. Both Opium’s got blown over Auto Opium is thin and spindly and before I could save her from the winds and rain, she got whipped side to side. The top 2 feet bent hard one way and the top 6 inches bent the other direction. The pics show my attempt to bandage the damage 😟 to her top cola with chopsticks and electrical tape. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. 10 November 2020 SunSet-Sherbet Well this week is just another week by now, this lady has been threading through the scrog throughout the week and I believe this lady has finished here stretching and is in full on flowering mode now. Normally a plant stretches the first few weeks into flower to stop the growth and use the nutrients it’s getting now is used to store in the nugs and not the growth anymore. Each cola of each branch has reached the scrog net and has a decent amount of light exposure due to the fact that I only has one light for 2 plants and the spread of the light isn’t the best. Started making actual looking hairy heads with the on them 😁 the leaf spread is just getting a lot. Do-Si-Wine This plant is doing splendid due to fact that the long and stretchy-ness of these branches has reached the scrog net above and beyond which makes it a lot easier to thread through the scrog and to get as much light exposure as possible for more thicker nugs 🤓 The heads on this lady has started making THC 😁 the nugs are starting slowly to turn white which is very cool, because the plant is a dark green with WHITE nugs. One branched has snapped which is quiet delicate and grows above the rest if the canopy and causes shadow from on the bottom branches.

WEEK 2 FLOWER SUPER LEMON HAZE ⭐️NUTRIENTS USED ⭐️ 1st time using this lineup. All nutrients are added to the reservoir as follows Front Row AG Si .5ml per gallon Front Row AG Part A 3.3g per gallon Front Row AG Part B 2.2g per gallon Front Row AG Phoszyme .4g per gallon Front Row AG Bloom 2.6g per gallon Front Row AG Triologic 1ml per gallon Front Row AG CleanUp .2g per gallon This week the whole slate of Front Row AG nutrients are used. For my first experience using salt type nutrient, everything seems to be going well. No deficiencies and no signs of stress. Mixing is super easy and everything dissolves 100%. One of my first times seeing no purple streaked stems in the last 5 years. My lights were gradually raised by 5-10% every day until 100%. Beginning the week PPFD was almost 1000, now it is almost 1500 PPFD. To supplement all of the light these plants will get, high doses of CO2 are given during daylight hours. The room stays at 1500ppm at a minimum. By weeks end everything under the net will be stripped and the canopy thinned of all large fan leaves. One big stressful event, so the rest of flower the plants can be left alone to bloom. It’s best to do it once IMO. I believe things are right on track. End of week 4 and all is great! This girl is beefin up to be a monster! Already got a ton of bud on her an their is still 4-6 weeks to go. loving this Hortilux Eye 1000w bulb. Really bringing the A game. Not so bumbed about spending $ 125 on a bulb now...lol haven’t had to really take any foliage off yet with the exception of the growth under the netting I removed at 1 weeks into flowering. I say “hell no” too popcorn fluff! Lol gotta save that energy for the top buds. Going great so far anyway, I made a DIY light bar for my light rail mover out of an old metal bed frame so that was cool. Saved $50 per tent... I ain’t no sucker gonna pay $50 for an aluminum bar with some bolts. Lol gonna hook up my “water coolers soon too since the summer is approaching and my water temps are begging to creep up again. Lol you may have noticed a computer case sitting in the corner of my grow tents in past videos, they are DIY water chillers made from some thermoelectric coolers and a copper cooling coil.
