🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

Well the ladies are doing great in the 3 gal pots! I have 1 that just isn’t as perky as the other 2 and I’m gonna keep a close eye on her. They are growing extremely well under my KindLED X80 Veg bar!I’ve never ran just a veg bar and I really like the way it’s been working out for me! I work a lot so it’s hard for me to stay on here every couple days but I’ll try!

Day 42 of flower (day 93 since germination). No major changes over the last week. The growth has slowed down, and the buds are fattening up. Each plant was was fed 700mL compost tea, today, that was brewed for 24 hours.

All good flipped to flower but giving the week grace period until seeing pistils. Be good

The girl is progressing well. She is receiving around 25 DLI of light. I did a topping.

Day 30 Feb. 18th- I feel like everything is going great -all plants are now in final 7 gallon containers..have used a lot of soil! -I have been tying the plants down as much as possible -March 2nd will be 42 days and I think that is when I will switch to 12/12 -Day 35 Feb. 24th- I need trellis netting soon I retie branches constantly for inner growth HULKBERRY and GREEN GELATO are growing similar...LSD and ROYAL GORILLA are growing similar! -Very interesting!! * I have color coated the plants like I should have a couple weeks ago -GREEN GELATO has all green pipe cleaners now...HULKBERRY has all yellow pipe cleaners. very long branches and small inner growth LSD is in all purple pipe cleaners. tying it down has done wonders! it has awesome inner growth! Now the ROYAL GORILLA in all orange pipe cleaners! This plant is a pain in the ass lol. The inner growth and spacing is insanely close!!! so many shoots all tightly together. I have tied down anything I can. Unsure how it will work in budding next week

The mephisto is has bounced back and pushing hard. All the plants still have a high runoff but has been pushing hard this last week or so. Ph run off has been around 7.6 from around 8.4ph😬😬 I kinda gave up on the freeze berry but I started checking it out and I didnt notice how well the branching is on that plant and how frosty it is. the freeze berry has been getting set up nicely hoping it fills out nicely because the branching and spacing on that one is not too shabby I'm not sure wth is going on with the big bomb that one decided to just grow like a bush real fast and has soo many bud sites but is flowering super slow.. I started all the seeds at the same time except the mephisto is about a week or two younger than the rest. The crystal meth is about ready I'm going to start flushing that here sometime this week when I get my new ph pen.

Lots of pics not much to report. Flushing and starting to yellowing nicely. Trichomes are in check so I plugged light out and left these two girls in darkness for 36-48h. These yielded clearly most in this round. Nice job Barney's with this one 👌 Can't wait to smoke this one out once cured couple weeks 👊😍

W19 (Harvest) 6-6 Last day before harvest. 7-6 Harvest day! Installed a humidifier outside the tent, set to 55% aiming for a 60% humidity inside the dry tent. 17-6 After 10 days of drying she is ready to be trimmed. While posting this a couple of months later i found out that i totally forgot to make pictures and video's of the trimmed buds 😅 End result #1: 37 Grams of dried buds. 35.84 Grams of dried trim and very small buds, into the freezer. I would describe pheno 1 as normal frosty, almost stone like buds, smells chemical with hints of dish soap (i really like it!) I cant describe the taste but it was very tasty out of the box, before the cure, very sad i only had 37 grams of it haha. End result #2: Around 70 grams of dried buds. 43.23 Grams of dried trim and small buds, into the freezer for bubble hash. I would describe pheno 2 as very frosty buds, little bit fluffy, smells very gassy, with a nice sour taste after curing a couple of months. Very interesting strain, i will definitely grow it again! I have some trim and small buds saved up from different strains and i will be posting a diary of the full process making hash of them! Esa familia, buenas de nuevo, siento la tardanza, asuntos propios ya me entendéis... pero ya actualizo y es que esta farm cheese de genofarm esta ya apunto de caramelo. Se espera el corte muy pronto y la verdad que promete , se ve increíble y huele que flipais. Ph controlado temperatura por debajo de 27 grados y humedad por debajo de 40%. Estoy muy contento porque el genotipo cheese es de mis preferidos y está en concreto tiene ese olor tan peculiar. Un saludo y nos vemos fumetillas.

Had to do a root wash, again, also cut some really bad roots of, also saw lots of new healthy root growths since last week, upping ORP and wash last week seemed to have helped. Overall still very unhappy but that is on me, learned that prepping a plant in DWC and then transplant it to NFT is not a good idea, better do it as usual directly in NFT so that the roots follow the stream better, usually at this time there would be at least 3x the amount of roots. Also switched back to the 10cm diameter tube, will stick with that one from now on, very good experiences in the past and this one does not, maybe RH does not rise enough in a 16cm diameter tube. Also changed the light cycle to 18/6 from 24/0, in the timelapse I see phases where the leafs droop slightly and come back, kind of like the night cycle but less, seems to me like the plant wants to go to "sleep" even tough it was raised in 24/0 and I have good experiences with 18/6. Couple got a little burn I think maybe a little too much soil in there with the coco on top of the light feed? I got all the final pots filled up today they will go in 3 gal bags either today or tmm. It's a Greentree pro ultra coco/perlite mixed with some roots organic soil about 70/30.

Il ciclo è stato veloce e veramente molto produttivo! E stata superata 3 volte in modo che avesse 8 cole principali, i realtà poteva prendersi un altra tagliata (per riuscire ad averne 16) ma non ho voluto farlo perche avevo un vaso da 8 litri, se avessi avuto un vaso più grande sicuramente avrei continuato a fare topping! E stato un vero piacere vederla crescere ho voluto farla crescere fino a quando avesse avuto i tricomi al 30ambra e 70 latte e così ho fatto! Ho controllato con il mio lumagny 100x e una volta raggiunto un 10ambra e 90 latte ho iniziato fare il flush (dando solo acqua ed enzimi per i primi 4 giorni e per i successivi 7 ho dato solo acqua. Quando ho controllato i ppm di scarico defluiva solo 380-400ppm (che era i ppm dell'acqua iniziale).... E stato bellissimo lavorare a questo progetto con tutti questi sponsor perché ogniuno a modo suo mi ha insegnato qualcosa è come potete vedere i risultati parlano da soli! Light schedule 20 hours on 4 hours off and the same with ventilation. Humidity approx 50 percent, water intake raised up 125 ml per plant per day. Fertilization continues on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Biobizz family and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. This week will change the old lamp and replace with Viparspectra 600W. Day 46: I am still waiting for the new lamp. I haven't updated 2 days. They are georgeus flowering nicely. Buds are getting thicker and the purple strains are getting pure Balckberry Kush and LSD-25. Day 47: I palced today the new Viperspectra 600W lamp. I have also changed the light schedule for 18/6.

Girls looking very healthy and happy. Due to my short trip had to leave my 🍌💜👊 girls unsupervised for 3 days. Was stunned when opened my cabinet on the Dec 5th. Athena stretched like crazy. Good 3 inches. She better slow down as not much roof space left for her. May tie some taller branches to netting if necessary. Introducing blooming nutes for the first time this week on December 6th at smaller dosage and on the second watering as listed. Week 8 Dec 4 - Dec 10 Dec 5 Leaves tucking Dec 6 Heavier selective defoliation on both girls. Athena fully lolipopped and Xena at 75%. Watered with 8 ltr beetwen both with perfect runoofs PH 6.4. Girls were very thirsty 🤤 Dec 7-8 Just enjoying how my girls developing. Frost has landed and they are start showing colours. All is looking great. Dec 9 Second watering for this week 7 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH 6.4 Even with so much difrence in size of my 🍌💜👊 girls it seems that they are drinking my juice almost equally. Dec 10 Applied selective defoliation and tied 3 tallest branches of Athena to netting to avoid any potential burns on these beautiful baby colas. It's the end of the week! [This is a beginner's journey to grow a Blue Dream plant outdoors, from seed, for the very first time. I added 3 clones in week 7, and I will include their progress, but each week this journey will feature Foster, the Blue Dream. Thanks for joining me as I learn to grow outdoor cannabis in the beautiful Willamette Valley.] Foster is doing very well this week. At the recommendation of my local organics shop, I've switched my nutrients from Fox Farms (Big Bloom & Grow Big) over to GreenGro's Nature's Pride veg nutrients (info here: http://www.thegreengro.com/product/veg-6-3-3-5/). It's a powder, and I'm feeding 14ml/gal (or, since she's in a 45 gallon pot, 630ml) as a top dressing once/week. I really like the nutrients--it includes mycorrhizae. I will also add a microbial compost tea next Friday at feeding. The Nature's Pride nutrients are a bit more expensive than the Fox Farm nutrients I was working with, but the folks at my organics shop have the plant science background, and its what they use, so I'm going to track the results in the coming weeks. At any rate, It's been a very hot, windy, and humid week in Western Oregon, and she's been drinking nearly 2 gallons/day. New growth looks very healthy, and the sites where I've topped are growing 2 new vibrant colas.
