Harvest day - I save my harvest post for the yield results so I have one more to follow. Beautiful grow though and really impressed with the yield and results. I typically only grow indoors, this is my first full outdoor grow with a photo actually. It definitely changed how I view growing seeing the plants react outdoors. Also I’m in newly legal NY state and we would not be here today if it wasn’t for people like Jack Herer fighting for us at the most difficult times to do it. Jack was born in Buffalo, NY so this grow was a grow to pay homage to a man that led the way. This strain has also won the 2nd most cannabis cups behind only Skunk #1 a strain well deserving of the Jack Herer name.

At the beginning of week 11 they both look strong and healthy to me. Though their buds still seem smaller than the one in the 20l pot. But the look great after all :) So colorful and frosty (the smaller one) and so big and yellow (the taller one). Can't wait to harvest them :D At the middle of week 11 they both still look great and I think I saw the tall one's buds grow a bit again... There was something strange going on at the top of the head bud (of the taller one). There'S a close up picture... I guess it's just a kind of mutation and no seed. I was shocked first when I thought it was a seed...

I Should have been chopped down 5 plants instead of just one however I lost her 4 sisters because of fungal infection due to a high humidity and and a very hot day. Wish I could have been able to get a lot of jars full of this wonderful and magical organics nugs.

Welcome to week 9 / week 6 of flowering! Her fall colors are in full force now. 🍁 Most pistils have turned amber. Some trichomes have also turned amber, but mostly cloudy still. Harvest time is getting close! 🤗 ✅Day 57: No water. Trimmed off a few dead leaves. ✅Day 58: 144oz of water. No runoff. ✅Day 59: No water. ✅Day 60: No water. ✅Day 61: No water. ✅Day 62: 128oz of water. No runoff. Took a quick look at trichomes. They are still mostly cloudy. ✅Day 63: No water.

Week 7

8/25 put in closet for 48 hrs of darkness before harvest 8/28 actually did almost 3 days of darkness but started trimming and chopping. Getting ready to hang. Day 1. 8/29: 72°F and 50% humidity. Still wet. Even the small buds Day 2. 8/30: 70°F and 47% humidity Day 3. 8/31: 70°F and 52% humidity. Looking more dry than id prefer after 3 days of drying. But the conditions arent exactly ideal. Day 4. 9/1: 70°F and 49% humidity. Humidity dropped which sucks! Day 5. 9/2: 75°F and 37 humidity. Temperatures rose and humidity dropped a lot. Buds are super crispy. Im gonna let them go another day. Day 6. 9/3: time to jar the buds for curing. Dry weight is 43 grams

Week went again very uneventful. The plant does what she is supposed to be doing (gaining weight) :). Still lots of new pistils appearing overnight, I am checking the Trichomes daily, however, everything remains milky, with only very little % of amber trichomes. Once amber colours start increasing I will start flushing.

An here we are. At the end of another cycle. The end of another year, and what a year it was. For Sunshine and me personally, it was a tough year, with our families sick on multiple occasions, life-threatening. We are very thankful for many things but most of all that all our parents are healthy again. We wish your families are as fortunate in the coming year. So we end this Gorilla's life with a swift cut of the scissors, after thanking her again for the companionship, the well-needed distraction, and all the love she has given me already. I sometimes read that people won't go near their plants when they are angry or sad. Please do go to your plants when you are sad or angry! They are millions of years old. They have been healers of animals and humans since they were around. Our emotions can not taint something so pure as the spirit of this plant. She will heal us, give her life for us, sacrifice herself for our healing. She is all-powerful and all-knowing, there is nothing we mere humans can do, except disrespect her powers. Bask in her glowing light, enjoy her soothing energy, her creative spark when you are in need of love, just don't smoke her at that time, for she will soothe you bit not give her treasures, she will seduce you. Just watching them grow :) nothing special to add. I was considering flushing one plant this week, as I mentioned in my last post, but to be frank I didn't consider the actual flowering time and just wanted everything to be as fast as possible, which is not a good thing on my part. Now I'll feed them 1 or maybe 2 weeks longer (depending on the plant, as I'm trying to give them at least 5-6 weeks of flower (the recommended time for flower for this strain from what I can gather). I would love to hear your opinions on this. Thanks for stopping by and happy growing 🌿😁

D71/F23 - 11.29 - Maybe didn't love the defoliation, but looking ok. No discoloration or anything, just a little slower to start chunking up than its neighbors. <3 D73/F26 - 12.1 - The 3x3 9lb seems to have done better with the defoliation, but after I fed with a bit of molasses, found some fungus gnats flying around. Have traps and diatomaceous earth down, so we should nip this pretty quickly. D74/F27 - 12.2 - A little concerned about this one cola whose top pistils seem curled compared to the other on the plant. Take a look and let me know if this is normal or not. All my mature fungus gnats have been trapped, not seeing anymore buzzing around. I suppose the larva could still do a little damage for now? D76/F29 - 12.4 - Doing fine in the 4x5 tent :)

I didn’t join Grow diaries until this week so here’s where I am at! I plan to stay using this, I respect the community it feels like home, any way about the grow... WALTER WHITE/ MEPHISTO I have grown this plant before and she is definitely one of my favorite strains from Mephisto. It has a citrus, berry smell. The smoke is smooth and creamy. Week 4; Day 25 of flower(update) ~Average~ Temp: 76-83 RH: 42%-52% PH: 5.9-6.2 NOTES: This week the trichrome production was on the run. They started to put on. I am happy with the smell in the grow room/ tent. I notice some tip burn so I am going to give two waters at a ph of 6.0 then go back to the schedule. However I remove humidifier and everything back to normal. Girls grow up like nothing happened, tomorrow I will proceed small defoliation like I'm doing it in every grow.
