Plants continued to mature this week and all the buds are getting fat they will have there last nutrient feed this week in prep for flushing and harvest next week. The Lemon Zkittles looks and smells amazing looks amazing. Nearly all the plants look and smell the small, good genetics and breading. The Cxx is again a very stable genetics and flowered and smells exactly as the last grow did. Good genetics. The Peyote Cookies and Shishkaberry also grew well and similar, good genetics. Afghan Kush amazing buds and very earthy smell.classic The gorilla cookies had a rather large variation in pheno types but all look amazing and each will be a pleasure to smoke.

Plants are doing and looking beautiful. Plants look like they fully recovered from the previous weeks mishaps.. Buds are developing nicely at this point And every day I notice them slightly bigger .. I'm noticing the smell get stronger day by day as well Keeping temp at 76-78 and humidity at 45% At the end of week 3 I will run 7L of pure r20 ph@6 through the autopot system , to let any accumulated salts from the hoses and roots flush out . The plants should use up 7L in about 2 days and then I will continue with my regular feedings probably on day 3 of week 4 Also the weather has been getting warmer the last few days and after adding the 2 new lights the temps are getting higher in my tent .. Added 8inch Vortex inline fan to bring fresh air from outside on a controller that shuts on or off depending on temp

Day 53 Started to flush the Fruitspirit finally i see some amber trichomes 😆 Flushing just with plain water PH 6.5 I will do closeups tomorrow! 💪 Skittelz is packing on buds as she should.... She isnt the biggest fan of high nutrient content but looks like pure Indica power! Green gelato is an crazy.... I dont understand this bud 👽 She looks amber enaught to be harvested but she is still putting on weight and I wanna give her all the time she needs Day 54 Took some closeups today and as you can see only weeks to go👻 The smell of the Gelato is so overpowering I love it 😁 im so happy that I took some clones they will grow outside soon if when they are strong enaught💪💪😅 Today i added a fresh pack of TNB Natural Co2 Enhancer for the final flower weeks....

Keepin an eye on the trichomes of the first plant, cause imo her main top is ripe A bit purple both... gettin close! Nutrients up untill flowering Trichomes still white, her top looks ready. As long she doesn´t turn amber, I´m lettin them grow 👐👍 I'm thinkin about lettin the thin one just trun amber... it's such a small and thin plant. Doesn't matter if the CBD drops, I want more harvest! The thin one smells like candy and flowers 😛🤩 she´s also very white and frosty

The plants are happy and on cruze control. Apart from daily defoliation I'm just letting them do their thing. No nutrients or boosters have been added this week🤙 Ok and still contending with bladdy LOAD SHEDDING !!!!!! 2-4 hours of electricity turned off by Eskom NATION WIDE!!! I'm currently sitting in the pitch dark tying this🤙 Google it.. totally sucks

The mycorrhizol with the guano is a mix for the perfect start I won't water much and by the time my roots get down there will be a thriving ecosystem waiting to welcome them. Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

Filter and fan kept the smells down

Nothing has realy happened since I cropped the royal cream....It is just hanging. Decided to do a dry trim so that it takes longer to dry due to the fact I am having to just use my cupboard so the humidity is pretty low. Leaving the leaves on just means It takes longer to dry. I am going to crop the Easy Bud in the next few days when the mood takes me. I had 4 left over R. Cream seeds left over because I informed them that. bought 2x 3 packs and only 2 seeds germinated so they sent me another packet which is REALLY good of them and the sort of thing that means I would definitely use Royal Queen Seeds again, for sure! The trich's are basically all cloudy with a few clear. I cant see any amber but my loupe is a ridiculously cheap Chinese piece of crap. I will invest in a microscope camera so I can hook it up to my phone or MacBook. It is way too hard to keep everything steady In order to see what is popping with my sexy trichomes. Obviously feeding has stopped for about a week now. I forgot to change it In the diary last week so will try and correct that now.. I know it is not strictly relevant but I had to go somewhere earlier and took a video because I was able o walk in the middle of a main road in my town which Is usually packed full of cars, especially at the time I was walking on it. It is a time that makes me even more glad I grow my own. I really need to buy the bigger tent, lights and re-locate to the bigger, more subtle cupboard (not the one i am using to dry my weed in the video I posted) and then I will be able to effectively ScrOG the 2 or 3 plants I have, in order to maximise yield so I can be totally self sufficient with regards to my cannabis medicine. UPDATE - MONDAY I just realised I have made a proper idiots mistake an missed out on some much tastier buds because of it. OK, so I got paid today, so I though I would treat myself to some of them cheap COB chips I used for my last grow because hey were super cheap and actually really effective considering the price. I ordered 2x 100w 6000k veg spectrum chips with a solderless connection for my power. I also ordered one of these heatsink + reflector. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MT824NP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My thinking was that I have a spare heatsink here that the old citizen CLU-048 is attached to so I was going to fit one of the chips into that and the other into the heatsink and fan I bought. This hought process lead me to go ad retrieve the old citizen LED and I thought I would try it. Still didn't work, then suddenly I thought it could be a simple blown fuse so I changed it aaaannnnd.....still doesn't work. doh! I started to remove the COB holder and COB from the heatsink (it was just glued to it using thermal compound) and when I laid it on the table I decided to test the driver without the COB holder on the tiny off chance it might work...nope I then realised maybe I got the + and - the wrong way round, tried again and boom works perfectly. The connection from the holder to the cob had bent slightly off contact. Really annoying that this whole time I could have doubled my photons to the plant, however, really nice that I don't have to spend a load more money on lighting in order to upgrade into the new room. So all I have to do now is spend money on a pre-drilled heatsink and a new metal COB holder for the citizen.

Fast Buds CC still has more yellowing in the leaves than I like. I've been ph'ing my water down to 6.0 and giving her extra Recharge (1 tbs/gallon). The bud sites are looking good. I think I'm 2-3 weeks from harvest here. Looking forward to having a taste of Cream Cookies. If she's anything like Girl Scout Cookies, its going to be a hit! 👍

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht.
