Week 13 (4/11/22 - 4/17/22)

Dropped hours to 17 to get closer to the 15 we will have outside in a few weeks. A week of battles for this tent. Lotta pest activity. Bulb mites and Nematodes (never going to have regular perennial flowers and dahlia bulbs in the tent again), lessons learned. Active pest strategies tried: - listerine / water soak - Neem oil / water soak - Dr. Bronner soap / water soak - worm castings to boost balanced microbial life - insect Frass to provide chitin - diatomaceous earth top dress - mosquito Dunks prior to organic amendments to deal with any eggs/larvae in soil

FBT 2401 is going good. She has gotten acclimated, and found the solution. 🤞🏻 it isn't too strong. Hopefully she takes it well, and explodes in growth. This plant was a dream to grow, wish I'd taken cuts. Halfway through dry at 7 days. Drying at 55 - 60 % RH and 17 - 19 degrees C. I anticipate she'll be done between 10 - 14 days total dry time and I'll then trim and update weights on this Harvest. 133.75g total after trim. She's a nice smoke, very happy.

The plant responded very well to fim it is growing steady I wish I can leave her vegetating for another week but the other plants in my tent are growing at an incredible rate of speed so I have to rise this one in order to catch up with the rest canopy that's why I flip them to flowering schedule 12/12 I have been defoliatin in order to prepare them for maximum light penetration into the canopy for the flowering cycle . Day 9 flower: Orange Sherbet: This girl is a pleasure to grow so far. Her budlets dwarf the others in the room so far and at only 9 days flowering , shows a good indication of the overall finish she should have. she is packing buds on all over her structure now and following her defol on day 7 , she has really pumped them up. The shogun boost is a killer concoction it seems. Cannot fault this lady at all to date. She is slightly tacky now too which is a shock for her age. Cookie Kush : This lady is a midget !!! She is a lot smaller than other kush strains i have grown but looks healthy enough. I think her housemates dont help as they are all such good growers. She is big enough to keep up with the canopy but will need encouraging constantly to match them at some point.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. By far the tallest girls in the tent. Her colas are stacking up nice and tight if she keeps that up we'll have some nice dense colas. 😁 Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

We have been introducing some nice cold temps at night, which is bringing out some autumns colors and extra frosty buds. Will continue to get temps as low as possible when lights off. We will give the plants about 36 hours of darkness before harvesting on Sunday. I will take photos of all the individual pheno's as we harvest :)

9/15/2024 Stretch is moving along nicely. Only bummer is that the tops are crowding the light fixture and reducing the total light penetration. Working to keep the PPFD and DLI in a reasonable range and even across the canopy. First day of week 3 bloom nutrients. Both plants are looking incredible and moving along nicely into flower. Working hard to keep Plant A from overcrowding plant B. 9/17/2024 Adjusting fan setup to promote better circulation around the tent. Continuing to move the light over plant A an inch at a time. Running out of room slowly and will likely be forced to supercrop. Added 40watt bar light over plant B to offset the take over from plant A. 9/21/2024 Discovered herm signs all over plant B during trimming. Decided to cull it to avoid issues with plant A. Going to work to tailor the tent setup to push plant A going forward. The empty bucket will remain in the tent but is disconnected from its feed line and return line to the reservoir. Due to the herm in plant B, I left a lot more plant material on Plant A than I initially planned. With more room, it should hopefully bush out even more! Flower development on plant A is good with great stacking thus far. Still stretching, but slowing down. Any more stretch will require super cropping to avoid burning as I turn the lights up over the next two weeks, Planning to add lower lighting now with the additional space.

Day 18 - FIM cut made. Day 20 - Repotted to her 38 litre airpot. I planted her quite deep to help with stability so she has 'shrunk' 0.5cm this week 😂
