Fin de la semana 5, entrando a la semana 6, fue increíble la forma en que crecieron estas señoritas, sin duda haber renovado la bomba de CO2, por una nueva, completamente hecha a mano y casera (1,5 litros de agua tibia, 500 gr. de azúcar blanca granulada y 15 gr. de levadura fresca, en una botella de refresco, con un hoyo en la tapa), hizo que la fotosíntesis fuese mas apresurada, ideal para las plantas de tipo autoflorecientes, el volumen de crecimiento fue aproximadamente de un 45% y logro que ya empezaran a aparecer los primeros pistilos, estoy muy emocionado como han respondido todos los componentes agregados en este cultivo, desde el sustrato de Canna Terra Proffesional, hasta los nutrientes Top Crop, ademas de mencionar a las semillas Fast Buds y las semillas a granel de Bocanda Growshop en Temuco, Chile. Una vez dicho eso, las plantas entraron al quirófano para hacerles su única defoliación pesada entrando establemente en floración, para ello, elimine las hojas más grandes y los micro-tallos que no alcanzaron a entrar en flora esta semana, dejando a los más aptos y fuertes, para su engorde con nutrientes orgánicos (Top Bud y Top Candy). The plants are thriving! Up till now no issues at all, its all going perfect! I did start giving them more water. They get 2 liter per plant with 2 days in between. They are very thirsty, as they should!😁

Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. Since I switched to flowering, it was time to rinse off a bit with Clean Fruits :-) . Did them a lot of good. Whoops, power went off in the shed, plant has been in the dark for 5 days basking in high humidity! Silly me

Topped and installed the scrog net this week, they took a bit to recover from topping and also defoliated 48 hours after. Changed out the nutrient solution and upped the nutes. I was hoping for more growth at this point but overall I think I'm only about a week behind. Being my first grow, I didnt know what to expect.

[Germination: 07/06 - 13/06] For germination, I followed a scientific article (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33732764/) that describes a method with a high success rate. Here it is: 1. Prepare a 1% hydrogen peroxide solution. 2. Leave the seed in the solution for 18–24 hours, no longer. 3. Use the normal paper towel method. Do this in a clean environment, avoid touching the seeds directly, use gloves if possible, and clean everything. I started the process on the 7th of June 2026, with 7 seeds. After three days, all of them germinated, and I placed them in a Jiffy Pellet.

Buds bit squishy but covered with enough crystals had to harvest due to mould and to much died leaves had few smokes and it hits straight away nice smoth smoke with orange and almond taste. Damn im so hungry now! Happy growing people!

Back on track today is Day 35. In the past I have fed lightly I dont like burnt tips but with the variety of strains in this grow with the co2 I bumped it up a little. Some strains like the Polar Vortex 6 are much more sensitive than some others so it was unavoidable. Other than the tips they are all doing pretty well. The Cherry kush mints in the 4x8 in my eyes is clearly a beast it had the shortest veg time and caught up to most of the big girls. Also its development has been impressive with a unique terp profile at this stage. The sleeper is the garlicane 5. I've grown most of these once or twice before but with the upgrades and the co2 that one has developed nicely and looks like it will put on some serious weight. Tienen un buen color, se ven sanas, y van progresando adecuadamente la flor va poco a poco engordando y tirando bien de tricomas.
