Yo, we’re hittin’ the home stretch of veg, and these girls look like they’ve been pumpin’ iron or somethin’. Stalks thick as a palm trunk, leaves lookin’ like they tryin' to catch all the rays. Ain’t no stuntin’ goin’ on here – these ladies in full-on beast mode. Still feedin’ that Advanced Nutrients on RO water, You know, that extra sauce to keep ‘em strong, gettin' rid of them lower leaves that ain’t doin’ much. Gotta make sure all the energy goes where it counts. The roots gotta be massive by now – these girls takin' up water like a sponge in the swamp, but no signs of droop or deficiencies. The stretch is slowin’ down, but that’s all good. They’re lookin' sturdy, like they ready to handle whatever comes next. Just about time to flip the switch and let ‘em show us what they really got. Week 11 Day 71 (15/03/2021): No time to take pics today ✌️ Day 72 (16/03/2021): Looking good but more and more leaves are drying up or turning yellow. But at this point there is definitely no point in stressing the girls by removing them. Although the colours definitely look nice! Day 73 (17/03/2021)💧: Today will be the last watering for the girls so they have a few days to take up the last bits of moisture before harvest. I can’t believe how fast this grow went but I have definitely learned a lot from it. Day 74 (18/03/2021): They look so nice and colourful, definitely an interesting bunch of girls :D Can’t wait for the harvest and cure Day 75 (19/03/2021): No time to take pics today ✌️ Day 76 (20/03/2021): No time to take pics today but harvest day tomorrow!!!! Day 77 (21/03/2021): HARVEST DAY! What a great journey it has been growing these girls. They were so resilient and only started showing symptoms of deficiency in the last few weeks. They are absolutely covered in trichomes and smell very pungent. I think they will be super hard hitters! And it still amazes me how different they all are. Echo is even completely purple! Can’t wait to trim and dry these girls and will definitely make some bubble hash from all the trichomes on the leaves too 🤤 Will follow up with a review soon! (after they’ve cured for a bit)

Hi all. So here we are at the end of another week and its now time to admit a slight defeat with the recovering ladies !!!!. I am not under any illusions that they will fly and take over now so need to flip to 12/12 for the sake of the Amnesia and time constraints. I am impressed they survived the root rot at all so a small stunted bud on a stick is better than no bud at all. I am hopeful the Amnesia will showcase how good the genetics from Sweet seeds are and not damage their reputation with my heat damaged and root issues. Red Hot Cookie has been struggling to get over her rot. She does not look too good but is alive. I will keep her happy and see how she comes through. Sweet Afghani Delicious has done well to grow this week but she has now taken a small christmas tree appearence. I expect she will also remain a midget for the finish , heres to hope. Amnesia Haze is stomping it in her Soil pot. Her week has been very productive. She is covered in mains and even the middle of the plant is forming another ring of mains. I have put them into different positions now and moved the lights around to get the best out of the new SP3000. She is spread out to get even more light as the stretch period takes hold. With decent raining out , i am hoping to get a very good yield from her. Her limbs are solid in strength but still bendable so should help train her out more. I also have the sp250 to give additional side lighting with the tsl2000 forneven more par if needed later in flowering. She is feeding well bybjer looks and takes about 8L before any runoff. I plan to add another round of amendments this week to boost the soil life for flowering.

Germ day 1: I started 7 Fast Buds seeds today. Dropped them directly in pure sunshine #4 mix with a pinch of mychorrizae around the seed. Gave them a thorough spray of Voodoo Juice and 6.5 ph water. I had great success with the last round of Fast Buds I ran and have seen some great here on GD. I can’t see why this would be any different. Happy Growing 🌱 There’s a couple pics of a just for fun outdoor Fast Buds Amnesia Haze. It was made from an Amnesia Haze plant I grew past summer and was pollinated by agricultural Hemp. Blue light is absorbed by photoreceptor proteins called phototropins, which trigger a hormonal response that causes cells on the shaded side to elongate, making the plant bend toward the light. Try and fill this side a little. She is quite big already, just needs to find her stride again after the undue torture. 5 apex stems with 20-30 mini cola, let them develop a little, with the apical dominance shattered, all those 20-30 will all compete with each other as soon as that stretch is initiated. Key to a good stretch is making sure the plant is cycling efficiently, with large ATP conversions occurring lights out. For now, I'm keeping light intensity high. A plant will slow its vertical growth in very high light intensities, leading to a more compact form with thicker stems and leaves. This response is a protective mechanism against light stress, which can damage the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to symptoms like leaf scorching, yellowing, and brittleness. Instead of growing taller, the plant invests its energy into creating a more robust, stress-tolerant structure. I had to make a topping of the rear central branch (I call it the tail) in the hope that the front branches will catch up with them on the top .. in general I am happy with how the composition will appear)) but still ahead ..

6/1 I'm anxious to get my plants in their final homes. Another 90 degree day today and then it will be cooling off with some showers. I plan to take advantage and utilize that to make the transition. I have some small burns on a couple plants bit considering the weather we've had its nothing. Temperature swings 50 degrees. I hope these girls do OK outside. I was tired and stoned last night and I accidently topped a plant I had already FIMed. Oh well. Transplants soon. Supports screwed in after the heat. Plants have been handling this weather like a champ. Big thick healthy stalks. UPDATE PUT THE PLANTS IN AROUND 730. Cutting down on light hours I'm poverty close to where we are. It was 95 today. Plants have suprisingly little burning. My fan was taken so they go without that tonight too. In the next few days it's going to cool down and that's when I'll transplant. Only thing left before transplant is sanitizing trellis and supports. Easy peezy. Especially if it's supposed to be in the 50s. And people dent climate change lol. I'm hoping that all this adversity makes my flower a higher quality. I'm glad to have the quantity to pick the best phenos for the BIG POTS. Im trying to stay excited but it's just so dumb hot. Cage is sanitized and ready and pallets are sanktized and in place. The 40 and 60 fit PERFECT in the small space left from the pallets. Plus the plants always lean the opposite direction so things should go smooth. Only thingvleft is sanitizing stakes, bamboo, plastic garden stakes and all the other plastic training stuff. I'll just soak it while I transplant. Gotta mix the soil first too though. UPDATE. Heat went higher than expected and hit 90. I figured I'd go back around three and screw in suppirt stakes and begin getting everything ready for transplant (i.e. supports, mix soil, sanitize trellis) before I transplanted tomorrow MORNING was what I had planned. Unfortunately we got a huge thunderstorm with a shot ton of rain and it's gonna continue throughout the night. I think this is God's way of telling me to take a break. On the way to my grow at 6am it was 44 degrees and it's not warming up much. Fifties at best. Rainy. I left the door closed. The big door on the otherside got opened as the other end of the garage neededcto he used. If the rain let's up I'm going to set up the grade stakes so I can transplant in the morning and throughout the day. I think I'm going to light dep a couple of them and leave them in the 3's. We'll see. UPDATE: At 12:30 the temp today was 44. Yesterday it was 94. I can't believe this. Plants are doing great though and are in the garage under lights for the day. The BIG door was open part of the day. Didn't take any pictures (or even enter the grow area) as I sanitized the last 40 gallon pot and a bunch of grade stakes. I drilled the grade stakes to the pallets in the front. The first row is done. Just need to sanitize the plastic trellis itself and finish attaching the other grade stakes. I tend to "throw" them in the hole before they collapse. With my anxiety I suck at transplanting. Plus these plants haven't filled the 3 gallon pots with roots yet but i want hem in their final homes and its time to go outside. I transplanted the other two plants indoors and let them have days in the garage with the door open and the light on then protection from the elements at night. I've been doing this for awhile. This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned
