Gave her first watering since the inital germination on day 6 and She has responded fantastic.
Plan on starting grow, bloom & on week 3.
Sticking with Voodoo juice and b52 until then
They got thirsty again on day 13 so watered about half a litre each plant.
After way over watering on day 6 to get a run off ( 3 liters, oops ) i think they are now starting to look great.
I'm starting to notice a big difference in size every 48 hours
Added 1ml/L 'grow ' to my nutes. Gave half litre to each plant on day 16.
Day 19 I fed 3/4 litre of just water to plant #1. This is in a 5 gallon pot and feels dry compared to my other in a 3 gallon pot. It also has a yellow deficiency on a few leafs so have lowered the ph slightly as it was slightly high at 7. Maybe possible nute burn so kill 2 birds with 1 stone
So far so good, she is growing fast. 4 inches taller in only 3 days.
On day 21 I defoliated plant #2 ( 3 gallon pot ) as shown in picture.
Removed 4 fan leaves as they were touching other areas blocking light and air flow.
It also looks only days away from flowering so have introduced bloom as well as a little cal mag to my nutrients.
Voodoo juice & b52 will no longer be in my nute regime after this last feed.
On day 21 i Fed 2 litres to the 5 gallon pot and 1.5 litres to the 3 gallon pot.
Day 24 Trying out some LST on 1 plant as shown in picture. Pots were light again so gave a very weak nute feed and Ph'd to 6 to try bring it down a little as the run of was 7.
They seem to be thriving and are thirsty.
Started flowering few days ago and has responded fantastic to some Low stress training on plant #1.
Defoliated plant #2, another 3 fan leafs to let in more light and air, in which these were blocking.
Day 27 they we're thirsty again, still only using half dose.
5 gallon pot took 2 litres
3 gallon pot took 1.5 liters.
Will alternate feed-water-feed from now on.
Using magic evolution foliage spray for the next few weeks.
Made a mistake of using this when lights were on, slight nute burn on a few leaf tips, either from not using in low light or obviously to much nutes, either way pots Felt dry anyway on day 29 so flushed them for the first time with Just Ph'd 6 water.
Just over 3 liters to plant #1 & 2 liters to plant #2.
As you can see leafs are a darker shade of green, been feeding too much N.
I Will be cutting out the grow from now on out and gonna half dose the bloom.
Stems are slightly purple so will use more of cal-mag as possible lack of magnesium. Noticed the temp has been dropping few degrees less than what I like during lights out so contemplating changing light schedule to 24/0 so it doesn't drop below 20.either this or a fan heater.
Day 32 pots felt dry so I fed only ph'd water again to help sort draw out the Nitrogen.
Day 35 nute feed. In a nice routine pots feeling light every 2-3 days
Looking like i have a magnesium deficiency as show in the leaf pic.
I'm Gonna increase the cal-mag.
Day 37 : Pots were dry so fed 2.5 liners to the 5 gallon pot and 1.5 liters to the 3 gallon.
Upped the cal-mag.
Introduced Big Bud & PK Boost
She is still in a nice routine of having 2/3 liters every 2 days. Like clockwork. Will be using overtime instead of big bud in a week.
Finally stopped growing vertical growth I believe at 37 inches, now I'm excited how fat these buds are gonna get.
The 5 gallon has so many Colas they are beautiful.
Day 45 -
Buds are really starting to fill in and fatten up. Drinking 3 liters every 2 days now with pots drying out fully
Day 47 -
my 3 gallon pot i am feeding half dose nutes compare to the 5 gallon pot which is needing more N. she is much more thirsty drying out faster too. Makes sense she is double the size in all ways.
Day 52
Bottom leafs on th 5 gallon pot are turning completely yellow/brown marks.
I understand the plant is sucking up lot of N and that's probably why, however it just doesn't look no where near ready because As you can see from the pics, the 5 gallon pot the Colas are very thin and airy compared to my short and fat filled in Colas in the 3 gallon. Slightly worrying when you compare the 2 ???
Day 53
Upped my nutrients as strongly believe I have been under feeding after some advice.
Added overdrive instead of big bud.
Run off is reading a little low at 5.6 so will feed the next few watering ph'd at 7.
Day 55
Fed 3 liters to my 5 gallon pot. Run of is bang on 6.5ph happy days.
Upped my nutrients to 100% recommended dose
DAY 57 :
Changed light schedule to 24/0 to control temps dropping. Problem solved sitting between 22 - 27 at all times now.
As you can see from the pics the 3 gallon pot is gonna be harvest a few weeks before the 5 gallon pot although the trichomes are still clear ATM.
Still feeding every 2/3 days around 2.5 / 3 liters. The smell of these is just delicious.
Day 58
trichomes are still clear,
Day 60
Trichomes have started to turn cloudy.
Seriously sticky and stinky covered in resin
Day 62 -
Trichomes are now over 50% cloudy. Gonna flush when the pot is next dry probably Monday ready to havest within the week.
Flushed my 3 Gallon pot on day 63.
Day 65 pot is still heavy.
I’m gonna give no more updates on the 5 Gallon, it just isn’t swelling I have lost all hope in being able to harvest it. As you can see from the video it’s a very bizzare pheno
Day 67
Fed 5 liters of water and plan to harvest when pot is next dry.
Couldn’t resist so cut and trimmed 1 little branch as gonna wait a few more days before harvesting the plant. It’s been drying for 2 days and as you can see I’m so very close to trying my first spliff.
This plant has been a delight for my first grow. She was In a routine of drinking 2.5/3 liters every 2/3 days and had no deficiencies throughout.
It was in a 3 Gallon pot and only 18 inches tall however the bud just kept swelling!! I flushed for a week and cut on day 70 with 100% cloudy trichomes. Wet weight is 348g so I’m hoping for a good 2 and half oz dry weight.
Dry weight 95g however once I cut all stems off I have ended up with 71g in the jars curing.
I found the humidity rising above 70 in the jars so I am drying in 24 hour periods in paper bag method before returning back to jars before finally getting to the cure zone of 60 - 65 humidity0
Dont worry one bit about the difference between the two plants. All that is is different phenos. In many ways they may as well be different strains. Just enjoy watching the difference between the two.
Yellowing of lower leaves will be a macro nutrient issue. Sounds like N but could be a touch of mag or even K if there's spots or burnt edges. Hard to tell without a photo.
N deficiency in late flower is normal as I'm sure you've read. The extent is what you want to worry about. Biobizz is often said to be short of N in Bloom. You could up that just slightly but it really might not be necessary. You're in week 8 so very almost there. 2-3 weeks left. The plant will start to lose leaves but probably has everything it needs to finish. Next time you could keep the grow nutes going for longer.
Probably a good time to start introducing overdrive now. I've never used it but the buds are at the stage where they're about to start bulking up so will want lots of K.
Goods work though mate. You really are on the home stretch. Pretty guaranteed to finish well now.
@BigDaddyK,
Introduced pk boost at half strength.
Also added Epsom salt, however the interveinal Chlorosis faint yellow stripes in the leafs are still visible as shown on my recent picture i uploaded . Any ideas? Thanks
@French_autoflo, it’s very bizzare. I’m just gonna make loads of caps from the weird one 🤗
No idea on weight I’m hoping for a couple of oz dry weight. The Colas are proper chunky 👍🏻
@French_autoflo,
cheers mate. I’m gonna push her a few more days, as you can see it’s mad how much extra weight these plants put on the last few weeks. Planning to harvest Sunday/Monday.
Good luck on your gorilla glue
@ForestGreen, trichomes are cloudy, with the odd amber. I flushed yesterday. harvest by the weekend around day 69/70. As you can imagine I’m buzzing to see what it yields, super fat Colas.
@ForestGreen, is, what is forest green says.. just have fun and watch how they growing.. with autoflowers it can be happen, it can be different phenotypes in the same genetics.. 🍀 Good luck
Mate she's doing fine! You wanna see mine lol and there in week 7. I'm using biobizz and as soon as mine started to flower they all went yellow. Even though I'm feeding as the schedule says. Next time I'm upping the nutes in flower 👌
@Squirrel_Master, I currently have a cheese growing a few weeks behind as you can see in my diary. However circumstances is stopping me for a short while but I am certainly hooked. Who knows 🤔
Looks great man. Good job for your first grow. Bit hard to tell if that's a Mag def from those photos - always best to take a photo in natural light. But as @BigDaddyK says you've only got a few more weeks left so you're on the home stretch.
On watching your video though I've got to say that does look like some strange fox tailing. Super thin colas. I did have a plant that just never seemed to fatten up. I got nearly 6 ounces off it but it was pretty mediocre weed.
You said your temperatures were alright though. Not sure what that would be. Possible it's genetics.
@ForestGreen, yeah I'm proper stressing about it. It's massive but it just isn't swelling 😭😭
Yeah temps are bang on. It just looks no where near ready still so I guess my only option is I will just leave it another few weeks and see what happens
