Edit from 19th May. Literally 00:09 Pre-Flowering. Fat Banana looks like Hermie. Royal Critical = clean pre-flower. Edit from 19th May. 16:26 Fat Banana had balls sack and pistils growing all over the place. I nuked everything that had balls on it. I left only top node with pistils. Royal Critical is full of pistils, no balls. Now I wish I had photoperiod seeds instead of automatics. I would give Critical 1 extra week in veg. She is around 10-15cm smaller then Fat Banana. I switched the lights back to 400W. Edit from 20th May. 14:45 I think 32C is maximum what these plants can handle. With 600W I was reaching 34C on some top leaves and that could possibly turn the Fat Banana into hermit (she was the tallest). I open the tent a little (front doors), I put big-ass fan on second gear blowing strong wind through the mesh-window of a tent. I put the lights straight up to the ceiling, I literally can't put them any higher. Fat banana is now 58cm tall and around 80cm away from the light. Royal Critical is now 41cm tall and around 100cm away from the light. 50% Humidity 28C under the canopy/on the ground under the leaves 31C Air temperature. This new Banana version is just incredible! I’ve grown the original before, both in soil and in coco, but this RF3 really blew me away 😮 I ended up with two distinct phenos. One turned out purple with amazing tropical fruit and citrus terps super vibrant and exotic. The other one stayed green and was my personal favorite, completely covered in an insane layer of trichomes, with rich banana bread terps that really stood out.🍌🍊🍋 Both phenos were top quality, but that green one was on another level.✔️

This grow is going to be testing my coco based auto watering setup. The plants will eventually be going into 2.5 gallon airpots which I cut to be very tall and narrow which I hope will give great performance for this grow style. Nutrient solution will be pumped from a 5 gallon bucket to halo-style drip emitters 6 times a day for 5-10 second intervals. I am going to try to use inline flow control knobs to dial in the watering and allow for slight runoff every fertigation. For lighting I am using my HLG 100 watt lights, one per plant. I am a big fan of these quantum boards, they have given great performance in the past! Thanks for reading! 🌱👍 May 13 day 1: the Blackberry breached after germinating in a rapid rooter for 2 days. I am impressed with how quickly this seed popped! It had no issues with stuck seed casings, which I find is the main downside of germinating in rapid rooters. I am excited about this one! May 16 day 3: Auto watering drip emitters are set up, and I am testing them to dial in the amount of runoff it produces. I also planted the seedlings/rapid rooters into 1 litre grow bags and began feeding nutrients. They are still under the humidity dome for now for the time being and seem to be doing well. Day 4: seedlings doing well, they are staying under the dome untill they grow their next set of leaves, then I will take them out and run a humidifier.

Another successful week plants aren't dead. Did some more defoliation this week to allow light to penetrate the smaller colas at the bottom of the canopy, still haven't found a feeding schedule that works for me, going to cut my feedings in half next week because I'm starting to see some minor nute burn on the leaf tips. Good week though I'm pleased with it onto week 10/week 5 of flower!

Estamos casiii, este es el último riego que le doy con fertilizantes, tricomas lechosos aprox un 80%, próxima semana haremos lavado de raices.

Week 7 now, growth slowed a tad, figured my soil mix would be running a little low on nutes now & started the feeding. Chose to give them a single feeding of Plant-Prod MJ Grow as it has some extra stuff they may have been missing but will feed bloom starting next week! The bud sites where starting to get a little shaded from the larger fan leaves, removed them & the buds started swelling like mad! Last day of week 7 update: They drank the grow nutes with vigour, fed bud filler last night (nov 3). The feeding greened up the leaves, now I can confirm my soil mix lacks enough flower nutes for sure.

The weather was way better this week then last week. Days are getting shorter and i'll noticed she's getting ready to bloom because she's streching a lot! i'll guess she will show the first blooming signs at the end of this week.

Looking mint atm, some slight nutrient deficiency I think. Will use some sensi cal mag and see how they are. Defoilated again removing growth below main nodes to create good air flow and concentrate on big buds at the top. Can see some white hairs coming through , should be in flower now so time to lower humidity slightly and increase the light intensity. Can't wait to see them buds
