Another week done, flowering really starting to kick in the little flower spots from last week have bulked up massively. Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. Hi Growmies, She continues to develop nicely. The rootball continues to expand and nested itself right above the airstone. She is very thirsty, finishing a good 10l over the course of 5 days. I have opened my last atami rockzbastic tester and added a ml per liter. Seems like the buds start stretching around the colas now, so pretty much half time +- a week.

Erster Grow, ohne Schnickschnack. Den Growroom haben wir aus/in unserem Gästeklo gebaut. Heizung ist drin, Lüftung ist drin, alles gekachelt. Wir haben einen Boden eingebaut, mit Pressspan-Platten auf einer billigen Holzkonstruktion. Maße vom Gästeklo sind 90 x 110 cm. First grow, no frills. We built the grow room out of/in our guest toilet. Heating is in, ventilation is in, everything is tiled. We installed a floor with chipboard on a cheap wooden construction. The dimensions of the guest toilet are 90 x 110 cm.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

The Strain was quite easy to grow, it is compact and has tight internodal spacing. I would suggest to low stress train to spread the plant a bit. Go low on nutrients, she doesn't like to much.

FBT2309 is doing okay. She is running high in nitrogen. But with this being a organo-mineral dwc I have been having issues in past dialing in the right amounts. She is still growing great overall. Starting to develop some frost, and progressing with her Cola development. If toxicity gets worse I will change the solution soon. I diluted it down some, but it doesn't always work. 3/16: Rain let up for half the day, but more tonight...damnit... They are due for a watering tomorrow, but with the high RH, maybe not... 3/17: They weren't ready for water yet, so I slept for a few bonus hours! (rare) All three of these plants are progressing nicely. Fattening up and smelling wonderful! It rained for most for the day....again...😣 3/18: I watered them with about 1/2 gallon each including terpinator, signal, sweet & sticky, cal-mag, armor si, endoboost, humic acid, and a little cha ching. It rained all night again..and most of the day today. I took some photos with the qb's turned off and a 135w 5500k CFL on.. 3/19: It rained all night and several times again today...ffs....I've started building an Ark in my free time 😁 3/20: Rained again on and off today..RH still too high... 3/21: Rained again tonight.. I had to pick up a couple of them while removing a couple of other plants, and they are still heavy. I might be able to wait until Monday to feed again, which might be enough time for me to get the RH back down a little bit. All three of these plants got too tall for my space and are really showing signs of light burn..mainly from the UVB I think. They were already pretty pale, so they burned easy....but those buds are dense and stinky! 3/22: Rained again last night several times...and again today for a couple hours...ridiculous. Woke up with RH at 65%!!! Been chatting with other FFT growers and they all seem to be losing a lot of produce to botrytis...I'm starting to freak out..😳

So insomnia won out N I finally got round to topping the plant to try a style of mainlining. Ive lolly-popped the bottom and left 3 nodes untill topping the main stalk. I then topped all lowers aswell. Lets see how she heals,as her stalk was hollow😫Fingers crossed N see how she bounces back with the CO2 from the Enhancer N Shogun Fretlisers.

Everything is running smoothly this week. I did not do anything to the plants besides feed and water.

Week N-3. The Cookies plant is doing well. grows normally. Easy Boost Organic Nutrition works perfect. I added GHE Diamond nectar and GHE Roots this week. You can see, that I started to train plants using LST and FIM. I water the plant every day; Plants are not stressed and continue to grow normally. On the next week I plan to do: 1. Put on the air filter, as you can smell a wonderful smell right now. unfortunately not wonderful for everyone. :) 2. Place the grid for SCROG. The plant has a lot of branches, which is very pleasing. So the SCROG- MUST have. |:)

Woche 5 - Vorletzte Woche der Vegetation und beeindruckende Entwicklung Die fünfte Woche markierte die vorletzte Vegetationswoche, und die Pflanzen zeigten weiterhin bemerkenswertes Wachstum und Gesundheit. Die Nährstoffe und das Gießschema blieben unverändert, wobei der EC- und pH-Wert sowohl im Drain als auch in der Nährlösung stabil auf optimalem Niveau waren. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit wurde leicht auf 60 % gesenkt, während die Temperatur weiterhin im Bereich von etwa 22 bis 26 Grad blieb. Die Pflanzen setzten ihr Wachstum in beeindruckendem Tempo fort und entwickelten enorme Seitentriebe. SPOILER !!!: Ohne jegliches zusätzliches Training bildeten sich am Ende der Woche 16 bis 18 Hauptnebenbuds sowie jeweils ein zentraler, kräftiger Headbud. Die Genetik dieser Pflanzen erwies sich als absolut außergewöhnlich. ENGLISH Week 5 - Final Week of Vegetation and Remarkable Development The fifth week marked the penultimate week of vegetation, and the plants continued to show remarkable growth and health. The nutrient and watering schedules remained unchanged, with EC and pH levels stable at optimal values, both in the nutrient solution and the drain. Humidity was slightly reduced to 60%, while temperatures stayed in the range of 22 to 26 degrees Celsius. The plants kept growing at an impressive rate and developed enormous side branches. Without any additional training, by the end of the week, they formed 16 to 18 main side buds along with a strong central head bud. The genetics of these plants proved to be absolutely outstanding.
