The week starts Monday Jan-27, being day 27 of flowering. Plants are looking very good and healthy, albeit some bigger buds at this stage is missing. Carried out more defoliation of upper leaves on the CBD. Only trimming fan leaves on one side of a bud site in alternate fashion. Strategy is to expose more bud sites to light. Leaves are getting sticky and glistening brightly. Feeding a high EC nutrient mix whilst monitoring run-off EC which remains below feed EC. The canopy is still thick with beautiful luscious green leaves typical of an Indica. Light is maintained at 30cm above the canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering just over 2L per day. Bud sites are beginning to take form and the ScrOG setup looks full, ready for the development of some large buds. Removed a few more leaves from above the canopy which were blocking bud sites below. Also cut small stems (with bud sites) below the canopy from both plants which were unlikely to grow strong. It's now looking clearer below the canopy. The canopy is still thick with beautiful luscious green leaves typical of an Indica. Run-off EC has been slowly rising over the weeks but still under the feed EC - will be keeping my eyes on this. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour. Start of week 5 now concerned with the height its getting other grows of the same strain I've seen biggest at around 86cm, how come its stretching out so far, will this effect my overall yield at all? Can't believe how big they have got barneys say upto 70cm, my first ever grow so unsure what to expect but i think its going well upto now, done a slight defoliation this week and introduced boost to my feed starting with a small amount, appreciate any info thanks, have switched to 12/12 hopefully stops them growing, am upto 117cm and 105cm smallest is at 76cm tall

Can't wait to seed how the buds develope. En cuanto a las plantas pues estas últimas semanas cogimos un poco de trips y pues ahí ando combatiendo con planchas pegajosas de color azul, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también. Las flores se están llenando de tricomas y van hinchando, aún con la plaga, por el momento todo correcto, aportamos mega pk y thor de Agrobeta. Vamos familia, actualizo la novena semana de floración de estas Royal Gorilla de RoyalQueenSeeds. Se estropean un poco por el calor aunque se les ve sanas, están formándose las flores bastante bien. Y desprenden ya un aroma increíble. Hasta aquí todo bien el único suplicio que sufro son altas temperaturas por estar en pleno verano. Acabaré este proyecto y daremos parón unas semanas. Que avance algo más el verano. Máximas de 30 y mínimas de 27 ahora viene el calor y ando jodido en humedad ronda el 40%. Hasta aquí nada nuevo no sé si las dejaré más o que haré podría cortarlas ya o darles 5 - 7 días más, todavía no e decidido. Let's remember, in week 6 one of my king's tart had been broken in 2 because of the tension due to my bad LST. This plant grows much taller than the others. I'm trying to lower his height by doing HST. Currently she does not seem to complain about it. I preferred to remove my net this week, to more easily access my plants and water them. I hope the branches will hold I cut a lot of leaf this week. I hear different opinions that say it's beneficial others not... At least it will have the advantage of lowering the humidity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Water: tap water at 300 PPM, I add 0.7G of Hybrid powder and 0.3g of booster PK+ per liter to reach 950PPM and I adjust the PH to 5.8. I watered daily until water drained from the pot (to release nutrients from previous waterings) and I take a 3-4 day watering break to let it dry out before resuming a daily watering schedule. -Daytime temperature: 22-26°C -Night temperature: 20-24°C -Humidity: 50-75% ( Too high but it's hard to lower it...
