This girl isn't looking super frosty but she smells like candy. Almost an identical aroma to the slurricane 7. I spread the plants out a little this week so they get better light and air flow. Other than that I haven't done anything besides keep the reservoir full. Still pumping nutrients 1 minute on 20 minutes off. They are getting .5 tsp maxibloom per gallon. Not going to run any boosters this round. They dont look like they want or need it.

Week 8 - second week of flower One plant is much smaller - still not confident on sex of any of them ... maybe that small one is a male - I’m guessing they’re all female tho. Either way i may need to slaughter that little guy - the other plants are just overtaking the tent - might not be worth keeping that little one in there. Update 6/5/19 - I’ll take some updated pics tomorrow - I’m 95% sure I have FOUR out of four female plants. Just picked up some yucca to try - and I got some more led hangers so maybe I’ll upgrade the lights today - the rapidLED far red flower initiator isn’t coming until Wednesday unfortunately but I have two more SolStix I could add. Update 6/5/19 - far red flower initiator and the two (now 4) solstix are installed - I need to make a simple aluminum frame - maybe this weekend Picked up some 29% H202 to clean the rez tank and pumps and filter etc (not to put in the nutes for the plants tho!) Got a better air pump and airstone for the rez. New Vivosun oscillating fan - wtf!? Made for grow tents but can’t turn without stopping on the sides of the tent!? - I emailed them maybe it’s defective.

Sticky Mango Auto — Week 4 Update Grower: Stoney Stark / Little Lilly Farms Stage: Late Veg → Early Flower Transition ⸻ Growth Overview By Week 4, a noticeable size difference has developed between the two plants. One plant is nearly double the size of the other, while the smaller plant has entered early flower first, showing visible white pistils. This staggered development is not uncommon in autoflowers and appears to be influenced by early root-zone moisture differences. The larger plant remains in late vegetative growth, while the smaller plant is clearly transitioning into flower. ⸻ Moisture Management & Wicking Adjustments 2/1 Signs of overwatering observed. Pots were placed on stands to remove them from the wicking rope and mat. The absorbent pad was removed from the pot showing more stress, while the healthier plant remained on the mat. After ~11 hours, both plants were returned to their wicking material. 2/2 Plants continued to show signs of excess moisture. Both were again placed on stands to fully disconnect from the wicking ropes. 2/3 Decided to extend dry-back by another 24 hours to allow the root zone to re-oxygenate. These adjustments helped slow water uptake and encouraged healthier root respiration before flower onset. ⸻ Flower Initiation 2/5 First signs of flower observed — white pistil hairs visible. 2/6 Smaller plant clearly showing pistils. Micro Provides essential micronutrients (iron, manganese, zinc, copper) that support chlorophyll production and enzyme activity. Keeps growth balanced as the plant shifts metabolic focus toward flowering. Grow (Reduced) Nitrogen is still needed, but at a lowered rate. This supports continued leaf function without pushing excess vegetative growth, which can be counterproductive once flowering begins—especially for the smaller plant already showing pistils. Bloom (Increased) Phosphorus and potassium are ramped up to support flower initiation, root signaling, and early bud site development. This helps both plants transition smoothly despite their size difference. CaliMagic Calcium supports cell division and structural growth, while magnesium is essential for chlorophyll production. Critical in coco, especially during stretch and early flower when demand increases. Lots of good growth this week. The stretch was on big time! The buds are starting to form and some are even showing trichomes. No signs of stress in the plant so I'll be bumping up nutrients next week.

Hello the greater community that is GROWDIARIES!!! This week has been well, uplifting should I say! Two weeks ago I was pretty dismal, I had one out if three auto flowers. I had high hope for this grow with RQS being g pretty reputable, but all was going wrong! Then! with a little help from my friends here on GrowDiaries, I was inspired to carry on lol! Now a fortnight later, I'm my opinion, things have turned a corner! I'm seeing flowering behaviour again from these three that were completely stuck in veg! So I'm happy :) Supercropped the big sativa. Just made sense. Only one hasn't been HST, the runt who is actually most progressed of the three. Followed by big sativa. Feeds are pretty unique for each plant so just ask, but the one shown relates to the one in flower. Summary: 1 auto 3 photo periods all under 12/12 for the past 2 weeks. Thanks for taking a nosey!

📆 Week 4, 12-18 May 2024 12 May - Upgraded light to ViparSpectra XS1500Pro. 13-14 May - Observed the plant. 15 May - Plant shows first pistils. 16-18 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 It was time to upgrade my light and it was an easy choice to stay with ViparSpectra. In my opinion, for small tents and the home grower they are the brightest lights available on the market. The only problem with the *2024 new versions are the dimmer switches. They limit how you can adjust the power: 5, 25, 50, 75 and 100% are the only settings, nothing in between. If you are trying to “dial” in your DLI/PPFD it makes it impossible without adjusting light height, which is quite cumbersome comparatively. Your forced to work around an issue which should have never been one! The plant is showing its first pistils this week. This doesn’t mean its in flower. There is no bud formation yet, she is just letting you know she is female. It could be another 2-3 weeks or longer before buds start developing. Same genetics. Same room. Same lighting. Same feeding program. Yet every week they continue reminding me that a phenotype is far more than a name on a seed packet. Frosted Guava Pheno B has never tried to become the biggest plant in the room. She simply became herself. Now, entering her fourth week of flowering, she's proving that elegance doesn't need size. Because what she lacks in height... She more than makes up for in beauty. 🌸 Week 4 Flower – Beauty Is Taking Centre Stage Standing at approximately 101 cm tall, Frosted Guava Pheno B remains one of the most compact Frosted Guava phenotypes in the room. Very little training has been needed throughout her life. Apart from some gentle Low Stress Training and the occasional leaf tuck to expose developing bud sites, she's been allowed to grow almost entirely according to her own natural architecture. Sometimes that's the best decision we can make as growers. Rather than forcing the plant into our vision, we simply help her become the best version of herself. And that's exactly what she's done. Her stretch has now almost completely finished, allowing her energy to move where it belongs. Into the flowers. ✨ A Plant That Simply Shines This week she's absolutely beautiful. It's difficult to describe any other way. The deep green foliage creates the perfect contrast against the explosion of bright white pistils that now cover nearly every flowering site. Every cola seems crowned with fresh white hairs reaching toward the light, while clusters of calyxes continue stacking a little more every single day. Even before the flowers gain serious weight, there's already an elegance about this plant that's impossible to ignore. She's one of those phenotypes that naturally catches your eye whenever you open the tent. Not because she's the largest. Because she's glowing. The structure remains wonderfully organised, with each branch carrying its own collection of developing flowers while maintaining excellent spacing throughout the canopy. Everything feels balanced. For growers unfamiliar with the term, PPFD measures the amount of usable light energy reaching the plant each second for photosynthesis. Rather than simply making the room brighter, it allows us to provide the plants with the energy they need to maximise flower production without unnecessary stress. Below the canopy, the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting continues complementing the main fixtures by bringing light into areas that would otherwise become increasingly shaded as flowering progresses. The goal isn't replacing the top lighting. It's helping lower flowering sites receive additional energy so they can continue developing alongside the main canopy. The real results will come at harvest, but watching the entire room evolve with this lighting combination has been incredibly exciting. 💧 Hand Watering – A Different Kind Of Connection One major change over the past weeks has been irrigation. At this stage, every plant in the room is now being hand watered. It certainly requires more time than automated irrigation. Every watering means mixing nutrients, checking pH, monitoring EC, walking plant to plant and making sure each one receives exactly what she needs. It's more work. There's no question about that. But there's also something incredibly rewarding about it. Hand feeding creates moments to slow down. To observe. To notice the little details that might otherwise go unseen. Sometimes caring for the plants becomes just as enjoyable as watching them grow. Current feeding remains beautifully consistent: • Terra Bloom — 2 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L • Power Buds — 1 ml/L • Green Sensation — 1 ml/L Maintaining: • EC: 1.95 mS/cm • pH: 5.8 Sometimes consistency is the best nutrient we can provide. 🌡️ Environment The environment continues supporting healthy flower production throughout the entire room. Current conditions: • Day temperature: 29°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative humidity: 60% • Root zone temperature: 21°C • Solution temperature: 21°C • CO₂: Approximately 639 ppm Environmental stability remains one of the biggest priorities inside this garden. The plants are flowering under a VPD that encourages healthy transpiration, while fresh household air constantly replenishes natural CO₂ levels through the ventilation system. There's no bottled CO₂ supplementation here. Just good airflow, proper ventilation and letting nature do what it does remarkably well. 👀 Looking Ahead The coming week should bring one of my favourite transitions of the entire flowering cycle. The bright white pistils will continue multiplying, individual flowers will begin merging together into more defined colas, and resin production should become noticeably heavier across the sugar leaves and surrounding calyxes. Although she isn't the biggest plant in the room, I genuinely believe she has the potential to become one of the prettiest by harvest. Every week she becomes a little more convincing. And I can't wait to see how she finishes. 🙏 Final Thoughts Frosted Guava Pheno B has become a wonderful reminder that every grow tells multiple stories. Some plants impress you with explosive growth. Others impress you with massive harvest potential. And then there are plants like this one. Plants that simply make you smile every time you walk into the room. She has grown naturally, confidently and gracefully from the very beginning, asking for very little while giving back an incredible amount of beauty. Hello, On Monday evening, I watered with a supplement of 1 gram of Trichoderma and 1/2 teaspoon of dolomite lime to boost calcium and magnesium levels. Today, I defoliated, keeping only the top 2 or 3 sets of flowers to concentrate energy on the top buds, knowing they haven't finished growing. Incidentally, I found 5 male flowers on the lower part of the plants, but they're still closed, phew! I slightly re-trained my plants. From today onward, my watering schedule will be. I'm really moving into the flowering phase and I'm adding Green Sensation to my nutrient solution. Once a week, in addition to Plagron nutrients: Power Bud 1ml/L once a week. (Why only once a week with POWER BUD? Plagron confirms that they have achieved better results in hydroponics, so for me, who works with soil, there is no need to use more.) This means that according to Plagron, POWER BUD is more effective or requires different usage in hydroponic systems, while for soil cultivation, a lower or less frequent dose is sufficient. Also, Cane sugar molasses 2ml/L once a week. I don't use royal icing. Cann’Candy is the black cane molasses from the organic fertiliser manufacturer Guano-Diffusion. Black molasses is a by-product of sugar refining, resulting in this thick black liquid with miraculous properties for microbial life. Cann'Candy provides carbohydrates that are useful during the fruiting period, for tastier and more flavourful fruits and vegetables. It is used to increase and optimise the sugar content of the fruits and vegetables in your harvests. Black cane molasses is rich in minerals, trace elements, and vitamins that supply the carbohydrate source necessary for beneficial microorganisms living in your substrates. You can use Cann'Candy molasses with all ranges of organic fertilisation to optimise your living soil and keep it healthy. I'm using Biobizz Bio Up and Bio Down to correct my pH, which I'm now raising to 6.6. My EC is 1.2 today. I wish you all a successful cannabis grow.
