Day 36: The time has finally come to start my first flowering week (I think🤣) someone please correct me if I’m wrong. She’s starting to show a lot of pistils and she’s literally doubled in height from last week. With the tips of leafs looking like they’re about to start suffering from some sort of nutrient burn I’ve simply continued with a smaller dose. I suppose this strain just doesn’t take well to heavy nutrients. Also would anyone recommend me doing lst at the age it is? Or should I just leave it free growing up. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Happy growing! Day 37: she just keeps on growing. 3cm overnight and lst is definitely out of the question now. She’s drinking a lot more water and I’m now watering every other day. Day 38: not much to say apart from growth is rapid. Still seems rather wet so I think I’ll leave watering until tomorrow. I took a video to go with this week but unfortunately uploading it to here seems to have lowered the quality. Day 39: once again huge amounts of growth. I did end up having to water yesterday. She’s a very thirsty plant. I’ll start giving larger amounts of water tomorrow. Day 40: she continues to grow and grow, I’ve learned a lot from this first grow and now I’ve got a good understanding of how plants develop I’ll definitely be trying lst for my other plant. I’ve decided against giving a larger amount of water and I’m going to continue watering how I’m watering now as she just seems to be loving what she’s getting and I don’t mind watering every other day. Very happy with the progress. Day 41: she continues to reach. I’ll feed her later on today. Very excited to see what next week brings. Happy growing! Day 42: she’s growing faster than I imagined possible. Loving the feeding routine she’s got and all is currently going well, excited to start the next week.

Week 9 plant - vertical growth slowed down, packing on the buds quite nice. smelling great, quick counted 11 colas Week 8 plant - stretched quite a bit this past week. hairs everywhere, bud growth is starting to come in. quick counted 12 colas. Just added water to the res, ph went up a bit so dropped in 1ml of ph down to bring it back to 5.6, around 790-800 ppm. Did a light defoliation on the bottom of the plants, pulling off weak/dying older fan leaves mostly. Minor tucking of fan leaves on the top to expose more colas to the light. Adjusted the light to 18" from the tallest cola.

Week 7, 19-25 September 2025 19-25 Sept - Observed and let the plant grow. Increased the light power to 75%, DLI 45 canopy coverage at 18 hrs. Plant is in full flower now. Smell is increasingly fragrant. - 24 Sept changed nutrient solution - 24 Sept updated feeding schedule - Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 - Adjusting PH to 6.1 daily using GH up/down - Nutrient solution EC 2.2 at 72 degrees F - Light power at 75%, DLI 45 canopy coverage at 18hrs - Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. This was a good week for the Purple Punch, she really started to stretch and grew 14 inches in the last 7 days. I did start transitioning her from veg to flower nutrients yesterday. She is now feeding on Silica, Cal Mag, and 50/50 veg and flower nutrients. She has 3 shoots coming off some nodes and only one coming off other nodes. This is the first genetically mutated cannabis plant that I have grown so we will see what happens. The Medic grow light is now running at 100% in F1 Flower mode and I am also integrating the UV/IR bar for approximately 90 minutes per day just before lights off. I will continue to transition her to flower nutrients over the week and by next week at this time all three ladies will be feeding from the same reservoir with Silica, Cal Mag, Maxi Bloom, and Liquid Kool Bloom which is a PK booster. I keep the PH in the reservoir between 5.5 and 6.5 and prefer fluctuations between this range as some nutrients uptake better at different PH's within this range. I will probably do one last light defoliation in the next couple of days and that will be about it other than keeping the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old. The ladies are doing great, and the buds are slowly developing. The growth is also slowing down. It's a really nice sight at the moment. 🍋🍒🍦

Sour diesel and northern lights are ready to be chopped. I will put them in the basement in the dark for at least a day before I cut them down. The clone from the expert haze had to be tossed because I found spider mites on it and then found them on my expert haze plant outdoors. I shouldn’t have brought the clone inside, oops I will not be making another clone of this plant. I have found caterpillars all over everything and didn’t want to spray the buds with pesticides so every day a couple of times a day I would remove them. They eat a lot so I don’t have as much production at harvest. I will be more aggressive with the expert haze with pest control.

I'm behind schedule with my updates, sorry I've been busy... Things have moved along significantly for this girl since last posted. Topping did her some good despite the fan falling on the plant and snapping of one of the main sites. I intend to grow her out during the flowering stage of the 3 others autoflowers and then have her in flowing by herself on the 12/12 schedule in the 3x3 tent. Hopefully she'll be a monster ;) UPDATE *** Testing something out. She is in the midst of ending week 5 and I've transplanted her into a 40L pot to see if this will benefit stronger cola formations and an overall bigger yield. I was given these seeds and had believed they were feminized seeds but I'm starting to see pistils at bud sites. Must also be an auto this will alter my plans for this girl but he will be the last of the 4 auto flowers I have going therefore she will get all the light attention in her final 2-3 weeks.

Getting beautiful colors

After defoliating both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants after week 11 they now develop more and amore flower clusters, since the light can penetrate deeper int the canopy now. The plants are producing trichomes like crazy, even the bigger sugar leaves are covered in them! VERY FROSTY PLANTS! The flower clusters clearly form colas now along all side branches and both plants fill up nicely. The smell is now strong and sweet with a clear peach aroma to it, it makes me smile every time I look into the tent. The plants love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are getting the recommended dose every watering.
