8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden. EDIT: Went over at about one to check things out and do some minor defoliation. I checked on the thrip situation and I dont know if I blasted them off with the leafblower or if the rain washed them away bit I doubt it. Ivecmade the decision to treat these little bastards. It's on one plant but it's started to spread to another branch on another plant. I probably just overlooked it but still. Seeing that it rained like he'll and I'm seeing like zero signs of septoria I'm going to treat everything. At least I think I am. I haven't decided what to use. I think I could just use bt and soap and I'd probably be alright. I'd feel better doing that as it's something I'm familiar with. Outdoor growing. It's always something. 8/19 In the 40's last night. Hopefully that will help with the thrips. I was hurried and since today tops at 72° I only watered the 10th planet big mk ultra and the chem dog with preventative plant doctor. I'm not seeing hardly any septoria and if I do itsca random leaf. I mixed up 3tsp of citric acid and some Dawn in a 2 quart hand sprayer and treated the 10th planet that I thought had heat stress and the Pink kush in the ten gal that has the damage. I also treated a branch on my good tenth planet. It was the only branch with markings so I think I've got it early enough. I'm just wondering the best way to tackle this. The pink kush I'm sure, could handle spinosad. That strain is much later flowering. I'll see how the citriccacid works and go from there. If the other girls need water they'll get it when I get home alongcwith plant doctor. I've got some work to do. I'll keep this updated. Opinions are always welcome.

Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Tropicanna Poison F1 de Sweetseeds. Esta variedad me resultó bastante sencilla de cultivar, y si no la maltratas crece sana a mi parecer, la flor se ve increíble, tiene una cantidad de resina considerable y unos tonos rojos muy peculiares, se ven muy apetecibles. El olor que desprende es muy peculiar es muy dulce con toques terrosos, a mi parecer, no pinta nada mal, las flores están prietas. También os comento que la variedad es muy fácil de cultivar y no da mayores problemas, el ciclo no es largo, cuiden con la altura ya que se desmadran un poco. IMPORTANTE destacar: En las fotos comprobaréis que ya no hay botes de cristal con sobres de bóveda, ahora hay Grovebags. Que son una especie de sobres o bolsas que retienen el peso, previene la aparición de moho y mantiene intacto el terpeno, para que el curado sea más óptimo. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

The smell that comes out of the tent is absolutely insane. The buds are starting to swell and you can absolutely see the difference every day. I do feeding- feeding- watering. They seem to like it and responded well to the nutrients. The 2 bigger plants also started to be purple. They are beautiful. 🌴🍪⛽️🌲🍊

Start of week 6. Blueberry continues to be the hungriest of the group. The two OG kush are filling in nicely, lots of bud growth! The Super Lemon Haze is also showing beautiful bud growth.

Hi gromies Ive missed updates over the last few weeks phone problem! But the girls are going great!👍 I'm at the end of week 5 of flower. I'm pretty happy with it for my first scrog grow, could have been better, was in rush to get something into flower, started flowering as soon as they started to grow through net. Should have veged them & trained through the net longer to completely fill net. Pheno 3 was half the size of the other 2. Have started some clones from flowering cuttings, Monster cropping , it works great for increasing yield & saves me from having to keep motherplants. Amazing progress, the roots you see were developed in 8 days! Will start to veg them in the 2nd tent & start the perpetual harvest process. Have continued to grow this strain as I don't have any other seeds at the moment, though it is a nice strain! Definitely time for a change, hint, hint original sensible seeds! Or any other seed companies 👍

High GD community Week 16, Zuchinis all around, tomatoes getting ready on a daily. Cucumbers are getting almost mature proportions. Everything going well. Terra preta Location: center perma garden Surface: 125cm x 105cm Depth: 115cm The hole was dug out over 3 days, it were very sunny days. 😅 Theres mostly loamsand with a small sandloam bottom that was very hard. The sand was also very compressed and hard. The top layer is this grey dusty soil of about 40cm deep. At the bottom theres pure sand thats soft, easy drainable. First step is to fill up the entire bottom with fine chopped wood, progressively using bigger pieces of wood. I try to use some hardwood like oak to for its extra K (potassium = pot ash). A bit of charcoal to. This will take the entire first day, bcs it needs to have a minimal ticknes of pure ashes of around 5cm. Otherwise, after compressing it with the upcoming layers, the ash-line would almost disappear. Not all the wood needs to be burned entirely. Its a first layer with lots of N and K. Bones can be used to in the fire making the NPK complete. But it can be added also as a separated layer. I dont have that much bone material because my 2 dogs, or eating, or burry them somewere. Little warning at the end, be aware of your local laws applied to open fires. 😅😉 After a good burn ive got between 8 and 12cm of ashes in total over the entire surface. A small layer of soil (5cm) is put on top of that. Theres no need to harden out that layer, pressure will to the work and the layers will compress over time into ideal circumstances. On to the next layer!! Next is a layer of the compost, but the part that isnt allready decomposed. Its green/brown/yellow of color. And a bit of everything, grass, weeds, leafs and some thin branches. Another layer soil to cover that up. Now i formed a thin layer of chopped(10mm) wood(beech), just enough to make a thin,almost 1 piece high, layer. On to this i added a complete wheelbarrel of compost(black) with small pieces of still not completly decomposed materials. Lots of worms here. On that, you guessed it, an other layer of soil. I try to have both types of soil in that mix, the almost pure sand and the more grey type. Next, back to the beech. This time the rest of the bag follows. Theres a good layer of around 3cm deep. On this ive layed down some new small woodsticks to make a small fire again. Starting at the center and adding some last branches i found. It turned out really smoky!! Half way the burn ive opend the core of the fire, trying to spread the small pieces of char over the complete surface. After that, i added for the first time some water here. And an other layer of soil again, this is just covering up each time. Max 5cm!! Now we are at the upper half of the pit. Still 50cm to go. Now ive added some compost again, the green/brown/yellow one, with on top of that, a 15 liter bucket with compressed bokashi fermentated kitchen leftovers. Making a layer out of that and some fresh bokashi juice with 10 liters of water to drain those benificial bacteria into to compost layer just underneath it. This layer is almost 20cm tick. Again, yeah, soil, 5cm. Ive bought some blond peat to at to to toplayers. Last 25 to 30cm of soil, is a mix of the peat(20%) and the two other types of soil. First ill do tiny layers of each, last 10cm i try to mix it. And to finish the job, ive took some 100% reused and composed soil with some perlite in it from past use. I havent watered a lot, but the meteo predicts a good amount of water in the upcoming days. The soil that stayed and didnt get back to its original place, ive used to make a new top layer on the rest of the mini field. I havent used clay because it was hard to find or just to expensive. Beside the peat(250l), i didnt buy anything. So its labor intensive, but real cheap. Not a whole lot going on this week. Did some light trimming and removed the wires. Main stem on all 4 are nice and flat, going to let the girls veg out for a few weeks and just grow up wards. Moved the lights up 16 inches to let them stretch out. I also switched light cycles.. read an article that mentioned a lot of benefits to having 8 hours on and 4 hours off. Specifically I've noticed a lot of benefits ik terms of cooling and environmental control. I havent had to push water bottles into my buckets ar all this week. And it seems to be growing at a normal rate.

She has gone into flushing... Very nice recovery... she has produces some nice skunky smelling buds.. she is very tall and bending over... hope she goes good untill the end... fingers crossed.. 🙏

8/15 Yesterday the girls finally got some sun. They're flowering. Like crazy. I do need to do an application of BT once this rain stops. It just started up again. Went back over and things were dry. I decided to hold off watering until tomorrow when I feed. 8/16 Watered the 50 2 gallons, 10 1 gallon, and the rest about 1.5 gallons. I fed a pint to the ten, 2.5 pints to the 30 and 2.5 pints to the FIMMed bluecheese that looked hungry. This way I can tell if they can handle larger doses. I'd like to keep it as small and simple as possible. Gave me a fright this morning when a sheriff pulled in while I was feeding. He was on his way to a neighbors but it looked like he was just admiring things lol. I'm all legals there's no problem there. I put off spraying BT last night because dad had a couple ppl drinking and I didnt want to interact with them. Plus it was to early. The sun hadn't crested the barn yet. At least now u know what time to go spray. I'm finding some lady bugs and I killed my FIRST aphid of the season. I still have caterpillar holes in some leaves though so I might as well hit them with the BT (even though I actively hunt them). No one ever said growing cannabis is easy. Oh and my soil must be BANGING because I found some mushrooms growing in it and like a mycelium web which is awesome. 8/17 This was a quick morning due to an upcoming doctor's appointment. Removed some grass that had grown on the tar from spilt soil as it had diseases on it. I don't want that spreading to my plants. I have one blueberry cheese that I FIMed with four cola's that doesn't have as many leaves and has dropped a few leaves but looking at ot from the other side it doesnt look as open. I know that these girls are transitioning and this is the time I lose leaves. However some plants still seem totally green with no problems despite flowering. I'm wondering if it's a specific phenome thing. I also noticed that the caterpillars are still there and this morning would've been a great time to apply BT but I didn't have time and since I upped the feed I didnt want to do two things at once and have a problem and not know what it is. 8/18 Rained overnight. Plants were soaked. It's not raining now. Plants are definitely overwatered. I'm losing a few more leaves that are yellowing on the bottom interior of a couple plants. Some of it could be from the transition to flower ir the large amount of rain we've been getting. At least my drainage is really good. I need to pull the fence out and co soder cutting a pallet I. Half to better utilize space. I know I say this stuff all the time and I'm not sure it NEEDS to be done. What DOES need to be done sooner rather than later is to apply BT. I can see the damage from them. It's not bad but I want to avoid botrytis as much as possible so those pillars have got to go. Otherwise I've never had plants this healthy and it's been a real ahotty season. Boy those 10th planet's are all mice and green and healthy looking. I'm really looking forward to flowering these strains and see what they can do. I'm already greatly impressed with what I've experienced so far. UPDATE: Wasn't raining earlier then it Rained off and on but just a light steady rain that plants love but it's 3:30 now and it's pouring. Guess I won't be applying BT tonight. We need some sunshine but unfortunately I can't control the weather. Just sitting here thinking I was wondering about using Plant Doctor preventatively just due to the steady rain but I noticed mushrooms growing in my soil and since I haven't not9ced any type of fungal problem I'll revisit that idea another time. Polycarbonate roof or even some form clear plastic and a rough frame of pvc or extra lumber. Theoretically I believe I could move them all indoors for a little bit if need be but that would he a huge pain in the ass. Honestly I've got great drainage and my watering seems pretty good so I might be alright doing nothing. We shall see knock on wood. 8/19 Plants were soaked this A.M. I took a video and uploaded it (which takes forever). It's sunny though today and after the sun comes out after a period of rain the plants grow like crazy. Everything is flowering nicely. I think I can go to the end of October. I talked to a lady today that said she'd already harvested some of her peanut butter breath clones. It's my buddies mom and if you look back at one of my diaries NY mendo breath was done in September. These girls have a ways to go but the are explosively flowering which is good. It's easy to tell which strain is which. Pheno's vary but the flowers on the plants are easy to distinguish from one another. I've also never had plants stay this healthy green this long! Previously I'd have multiple pests, wpm and maybe septoria at this point. I think I've upped my game. Knock on wood. My worst problem now is worrying when to spray BT for the miner caterpillar problem. I have wasps, lady bugs and a shit ton of birds from the 3 bird feeders. I see them dart in and out of my cage. Chances are I'll spray BT tonight and take some pictures if it's nice out. 8/20 The sun is finally out. Bags are still heavy. Looks like it Rained again. I found caterpillar shit so I REALLY need to get that BT applied. I also saw minor damage to a budsite on a low hanging branch. Looks like those fucking earwigs bur I'm probably being paranoid. I also had to remove the rope that I was using to support "the big cheese" because with all this wind and rain it "rubbed" against the stem and caused an injury. I don't need that now anyway with the trellis up. Bids are developing rapidly and stacking up nicely. I have a couple plants that aren't as green as the others bit it may be do to all the rain we've been getting. I think I need to increase the volume of liquid i give my plants when I feed. Next feed I'll be doing at LEAST a quart. Due to my w8fes illness I haven't been able to spend as much time there as I should. No fungal stuff "YET". I have seen some leaves that show the plants have been over watered. Drainage is good though. I forgot to upload the video from this morning and it's uploading super slow so I'm gonna have to upload it tomorrow 8/21 Awesome. Went to town and left without going to my doctors appointment. Good job man. 👏 ANYWAY....My phone was dead when I went to town so I coukd only upload one video. I'll have to do the others later. I mixed up a batch of bt 1 tablespoon with half gallon of water (as that's what this hand mister holds. I went around the cage and sprayed every angle. Then I went to each individual plant and sprayed while spreaking the branches to make sure I got the interior. I used almost the entire half gallon so I'm hoping this will help. Bags were heavy but doesn't take them long to dry out. I'm wondering if the yellowing that is moving up (on the small purple punch and the one in the tote) is because they need more nutes, they're transitioning to flower and really stacking up or because they've been over watered with all this rain. Opinions are more than welcome. I'll check the girls tonight and if the are wet enough I'll feed and at a higher volume. If they aren't ill wait till they get their full water. MY WIFE WAS HAVING AN "MEDICAL PROBLEM AND SO ON THE WAY TO THE DOCTORS I CHECKED THE PLANTS. THE 10TH PKAMETS WRRE DROOPING. I QUICKLY MIXED UP ENOUGH TO FEED EVERYTHING AT LEAST A GALLON AND THEN GAVE THE ONES THAT WERE THE WORST LIKE AN EXTRA HALF GALLON. JUST ENOUGH TILL WE GET OUT OF THE ER THEN I'LL GIVE THEM THE OTHER HALF OF WATER AND ILL FEED THEM. AT LEAST MY WIFE IS OK. UPDATE: Took my wife to the hospital. They did a shit ton of nothing which is par for the course. However, luckily for me (yeah right) I got back early enough to give the plants another half gallon of water each and then I fed increasing the volume to 2.5 pints (upping the big bloom to 3 tsps per gallon) but I ran out of feed on the last plant. Que decir os esta semana?!? Pues os dejo un vídeo en Alta Definición 4K, que os dejará ver los aspectos preciosos que se han desarrollado en los últimos 10 días. Primer aspecto de relieve, la cantidad muy elevada que he estimado tener hasta el momento y que puede que se encuentre en casi 350g sin secar y es muy sencillo, el árbol Sativa que se diseñó con el ScroG, ha tenido un crecimiento fantástico conectando internudos que tenían un espacio que no dejaba anticipar que los cogollos se fueran a unir unos a otros. La descripción de la cepa, dava a la Strawberry Cheesecake Automática de Barney's como un "cultivar" con posibilidad de yeld/m² sobrepasando los 600g/m² y la matemática de mi grow tent nos dice sin lugar a duda que tenemos una área de 0,7 m² o sea que la cuenta de productividad nos enseña que de modo muy claro estaremos por arriba en lo expectable y con lo que está diseñado en la estructura de cogollos, se han formado con los supercropping y el Scrog, al menos 6 colas que tendrán como casi 30 cms, sobre las ramas y un espesor casi como una lata estrecha de bebida y en el vídeo es muy presente lo que os digo. Después y en una línea alternativa nos ha salido adelante, pero muy justa, la Critical Jack Herer de Delicious Seeds. Ambas las cepas son fenomenales cuanto a la calidad de sus terpenos y las hojas de azúcar y porcentaje de resinas es muy elevada...pese a que como he ya referido en la pasada entrada del diário, que las dos cepas no son las más aromáticas y eso no representa un problema...o a lo mejor, si olieran mucho, ahí si tendríamos un problema que cualquier productor puede que tenga si las familias Skunk,Haze, Cheese o Sours se presentan a "grow". Se de experiencia sobrada que cuando empezemos la seca en el saco red y bajando la humedad de la habitación para un nivel aceptable en la seca de los cogollos (rondando los 40%) seguro tendremos un olor mucho más intenso y en esos momentos y por que el armario y el área de red de secado se encuentran en la habitación más interior de mi piso, tendremos por precaución el cuidado de a diário, quemar un par de astillas de incienso de preferencia, el sándalo de Sri Sai Baba, que es un increíble disfraz del olor canábico. Por mis cuentas tendremos más 10 a 14 dias de Strawberry Cheesecake, antes del flush final y después a los 6 días del flush, haremos el "sacrificio" de esta bella planta. Cuanto a la Critical Jack Herer, tengo seguro que todavía tendremos como al menos más 3 semanas como mínimo, para la engorda de cogollos y para la maduración de pistilos y terpenos. Es muy claro para mí, que la temporada de otoño 2022 y por que nos han tocado dos perfectos fenótipos Sativa, tardarían mucho más que los 80 días que cuando consulte las caracterizaciones de las cepas, pensé en principio que tendría y queda muy claro que con las Indicas que se anunciaban y con la evidencia de Sativas que al final nos salieron, tendríamos más tiempo de grow. O sea que esta temporada de otoño del 2022 que con el seedling, empezado el día 12 de septiembre en las dos cepas, tardará al menos en una de ellas, a desarrolarase casi como se de una fotoperiodica se tratara. Si lo sé plantaría fotoperiodicas y eso sí, por el tiempo consumido en esta temporada, tengo muy presente que las opciones para la primavera 2023 se decantan, de momento y de modo muy claro, por plantar tan solo una fotoperiodica que pueda garantizar un elevadísimo yeld y una calidad sobresaliente y en este momento, mis opciones se decantan por el experimento de grow con la cepa Bay Burger de Delicious Seeds, con su potencial de producción de casi 1kg/m² y su impresionante cantidad de THC que sobrepasa los 27%.
