It’s a bit sad to realize that "Autumn" has officially arrived. The trichomes have gone cloudy, the leaves are fading, and I’m out here wiping away a tear. This girl, whom I’ve been spending every day with for almost half a year, is finally wrapping up her cycle. Well, it’s been a beautiful ride, and Think Fast proved to be an incredibly strong and resilient strain. I’ll break down my full thoughts and review of the genetics during harvest week. By the way, the next update will drop right after the dry, I know you guys are all waiting to see the final dry weight. But for now, it's time to flush. The lights are dialed down a bit, the reservoir is filled with pure RO water, and my heart is filled with pure, bittersweet blues. Don't lose track of me, we’ll meet again in about 15 days! First day went as expected. I put the paper towel in a small see-thru plastic container and put it on the table. With a bit of water and the seeds in side, the germination has now started! Day 2 no progression, moved the tray into my furnace room (pitch black and warm) Day 3 major progression. I got them out and started to prep the jiffy pellets. Shortly after I transferred the roughly half inch tarp roots with seeds into the jiffy pellets, root down, seed up, slightly covered with dirt. I soaked them in water (like a beginner i overwatered heavily knowing what I know now). I placed them back in the tray and put them at a window for light. (Note) the plan was to do outdoor so no light or tent was ordered at this point. Day 4-7 not much progression seeing as the clouds and rain showed up...

Week 6 going strong - no slowing these plants down. Smell is pretty intense - even with 6 inch fan and carbon filter my entire house smells dank 😎😎😎

Still getting abit attacked by slugs, got to go down tomorrow with some copper tape and slug pellets. Lost few inner nodes and the 2 tops 1 is lagging behind the other. But gave a big feed so hoping will help and once these slug deterrents down they won’t endure anymore stress. That’s all this week. Happy growing🌱

So I’d like to welcome 👋👋 you all to my competition journey (well, probably — because shortly after I bought the seeds, it turned out there was no longer an option to join 😭😱). However, since the seeds were delivered straight to my door, even if I don’t end up being able to participate in the competition, I’ll simply run this grow the way I would have done for the contest.😊 So let’s start with the fact that the strain planted is Watermelon Punch Autoflower by Growers Choice. ( Why this strain? While talking with a friend on Discord, he told me he’d try this SH**T, and since there was a buy-one-get-two-seeds deal, I didn’t hesitate for a second — I said, LET'S DO IT ) . Both seeds cracked their shells and were placed into the soil so they can continue growing beautifully and healthily, ultimately producing a fruitful harvest. After just one day under a moist paper towel, the seeds were already ready to be planted — and that’s exactly what happened. Truly a very good seed stock. A photo after they emerge from the soil will be added in a few days, and then we’ll be able to move straight into a productive vegetative stage. The plant is looking great, there isn’t much to say. The weather has been a great help on this grow, and apart from the little N over feeding all is looking good. Buds are starting to get FAAT.

Zum Vergleich Bilder mit einem Feuerzeug. Beide FastBuds Pflanzen bisher sind ziemlich enttäuschend. Triebe, höchstens (!) zweimal so lang wie mein Daumennagel und schon steif mit ersten Anzeichen der Vorblüte. Vergleicht das einfach mal mit der Sunshine LSD Auto, die ich im Sommer in 20l angebaut und so ziemlich alles falsch gemacht habe. Das Teil war ein Monstrum. Selbst jemand, der seit vielen Jahren mit Photoperiodischen zu tun hat und mir von Autoflowers abriet, war sehr sehr positiv überrascht, was das Teil unter widrigsten Umständen geliefert hat. Die Buds waren so schwer, dass ich alles abstützen musste, damit nicht alles umkippt. Alleine die Hauptcola über 30cm. Wirkung hat auch gepasst. Unglaubliches Teil. Und was haben wir hier hier? Was wird das? Ein Zwergenwunderland? Ich bin ziemlich enttäuscht aber vielleicht geschieht ja noch ein Wunder. Verstehe jetzt, warum von Autoflowers Indoor wegen Stromkosten/-verschwendung abgeraten wird. Das hier wäre was für meinen Balkonkasten im Sommer aber nicht für nen 14l Topf unter 240 Watt. Hatte nach der billigen aber bombastischen Sunshine LSD Auto von 66seeds echt mehr erwartet von Breedern, die sich speziell auf Autoflowers spezialisiert haben. Wenn der Ertrag so winzig ausfällt, wie das, was ich hier in den Kübeln habe, war es das mit FastBuds. Habe noch eine Blackberry Auto und einen Mix Pack mit fünf Samen da. Aber alleine dafür sind es mir die teuren Strompreise nicht wert. Ein Miniaturwunderland kann ich auch woanders bestaunen gehen. Falls jemand einen Tipp hat, wo man ähnliche Autostrains wie die Sunshine LSD findet, bitte her damit ;) Die ist gut aber immer nur Skunk Geschmack wird auf Dauer langweilig.

Air humidity rises...some percents more and i will install my dehumidifier. I cutted some leafs again to make sure that the lights reach deeper zones. Both are veeeeeery thirsty at this stage. I still have no issues - all leafs are marvelous.

Welcome growfessors to the harvest of Mandarin dreams! These 5 ladies got chopped down this week, the three pheno 1 strains have nice dense buds, very sticky! One pheno 2 is very fluffy, airy buds and the other pheno 2, is someplace in between, not rock hard, but close to it. Last time I'll be growing this strain, she was easy to grow, but not a smoke I enjoy, the indica hits harder as the buds cure and I'm not that interested in couch lock. Will update in 7-10 days with dry weight.

I love these last stages! The girls are still stretching but I decided to give them a defoliation a week early. If you look back on last week you can see how bushy they have gotten so there was a definite need to get some light to the lower bud sites. I can definitely start to smell the familiar gassy aroma coming through now so may be time to get the fan and carbon filter cranked up. I will be top amending the soil again at some point this coming week but as for now I have just been feeding with water and liquid seaweed. I've had a few compliments from friends on the good health of the plants this time round compared to previous grows when the Sour Diesels had nutrient issues, not helped by the Coco medium I was using. I'll be sticking to this choice of soil and organic nutrients with the results I'm getting so far! I mean, look at those pistils!! 😁 I love that I've had 93 views on this diary so far!
