HELLO GROWING FRIENDS - Please look at my Aftermovie Growvideo, which cost me about 4 hours to create. hope you like it! Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 209 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I’m really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I’ve gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I’m incredibly proud of my first results! Day 63 Flower (Day 105) I'm back! Iceland was breathtakingly beautiful as usual, and I even managed to see an active volcano. Amazing! I have good news and bad news regarding my girls. The good news is that they are both still alive and are overall looking pretty good. The bad news for the left girl is that the cheap irrigation system failed and only watered around 1 liter of water during the entire week. She was extremely thirsty, although still looking pretty good without any drooping. A couple of her leaves turned purple from the stress, though. I recorded a video just as I opened the tent for the first time after coming back a couple of hours ago. The news is worse for the right girl, though. The irrigation system worked flawlessly, so that wasn't the problem. Instead, I detected bud rot in three buds, and of course, it was in the three most significant colas. Fuuuuuuuu... I also shot a video as I opened the tent, and the affected buds are visible if you are paying attention. I have never had bud rot before, so I will need to do additional research on what to do next. I immediately cut off the affected buds and disposed of them outside. I hope I got all the affected areas, but I will inspect all the buds more closely tomorrow. Been traveling most of the day today and need some rest before scouting her buds. I looked at her trichomes quickly and still couldn't see much amber, but I will have a better look tomorrow. The worms have been busy while gone, though, and they were crawling all over when I lifted the old avocados. They aren't the only ones who have been busy as the fungus gnats are back, Sigh. Only a few so far, but yeah, another thing to sort out. The fun just never ends...

This was their last week! They had 4 full water feeds till runoff, and the trichomes we’re looking just right by Thursday (day 67). Throughout the week I had been increasing the light intensity and ended up running at 95% of what the SF4000 can do. I have stopped doing the 48 hours of darkness awhile back, so Harvest to come! Week 2 has gone just as well as I'd like it too! I had an accident during the week where I had dropped a sticky bug trap on one of my girls, this led to me accidentally ripping off a fan leaf and a half, but she seems to have come out of it just fine! (Thankfully). I have been feeding 1/3 strength nutes the past few feeds, stepping it up from 1/4. I will be watering until I see runoff from now on to prevent nutrients from building up in the coco. Update(day 15, 4/12/20) Today I purchased a new oscillating fan, co2 bags and a new hygrometer that hooks up to my phone and shows me stats. The girls have been putting in a lot of work over the past 24 hours. I also had a Purple Punch photo seed sprout today which I may be turning into a mother plant. I will be starting a diary for this girl too. Update (Day 16 5/12/20) Second purple punch photo popped today, going to keep 1 inside and give the other to my mom to take care of. The girls got their first 1/4 dose of calmag today fed at 6ph due to all the nutrients settling there.( I do have ph +/- but I'm going to try run this whole grow at 5.8-6.2. Update (Day 17 6/12/20) Plants seem happy today. Fan leaves producing a the pre-existing nodes are starting to shoot out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, my streets power went out today for ~90 minutes, I opened the tent, windows and doors to get any light in I could, thankfully the power came back on shortly after. I fed the girls today with very little run-off(I'm trying to perfect the amount of water they need). Update (Day 18 7/12/20) The girls have jumped up over night! I wont be feeding today as I'd like the coco to dry out quite a bit more. Update (Day 19 8/12/20 Gave the girls a small feed today with very little run-off Everything seems to be going well so far, I'm very thankful! Update (day 20 9/12/20) Everything is going pretty well today. I will not be feeding as the increased humidity has kept the coco more moist than usual. Will be feeding full strength nutes tomorrow! Meow! Week 4 is upon us! We adjusted her ties this week and removed a few of the larger top fans..her color is nice and uniform..her bud development looks closer to week 3 than 4 but she'll probably start plumping quick in the next week..we lost half of our flower lighting for most the week, we use a dual 315watt and one side of the ballast had a short..we remedied this and ordered another 315watt CMH..now that we have more light than we need, moving from a 4ft an 8ft flowering tent may be in our future... thank for reading and happy growing 🐱 7/12/21- light defoliation thru the center to base and removed some large fans from the top of the main stems

Things are moving along nicely and they are strong bushy plants.I did some defoliation and tied down some branches on one of the three ladies.So far so good I’ll clean up the bottoms soon and possibly add a scrog net.

day 39 I done another defoliation and some lst to keep them separate from each other guys the orange sherbat is thirsty strain and seems she love nutrients she drank twice a day and each time 1.5L nutrients whitch is .5 calmag 2ml heaven 2ml activera 2ml alg amic 2ml bloom 1ml top max Because they are in small pot 10L and 6L so I don't wanna give lots off water so I prefer to feed them twice a day

I think I've set my Defolate schedule to a bit on week 3, alot on week 6 and a little more on 8 or 9. Well that was a special day, it always make me sad in a way, but this time, I enjoyed the moment a lot. As I wrote in a reply to a comment, things can always be better, and they are with good decisions at the right time. These are the smallest and the biggesr plant, one seed didn't germenated and that's why I had to put a Red Gorilla. Not sure I will try a main mlinning on auto flowering strains any more.... but I think I did it wrong, first I took the one that seemed less strong for the experiment, and having 2 other plants to compete for lights. FIM is definetly a technique I will reuse if needed. It's so nice to have these genetic contrasts, colors, aromas, shapes. Many thanks for all the help you gave, precious. 19/04/2024 lower popcorn buds seems dried already! But still branches don't crack on bends. Will check again on Monday. I finally have received, lately a portable microscope, will be more ususeful next year! But this confirms that lower buds might have need more maturity but did the choice to not over complicate by harvesting in 2 times, my indoor tent is also my drying tent, and I wouldn't have any other place to dry the upper buds separetly while allowing the remaining to harvvest with more maturity. In general I think I might have began the Final part too early. BTW, we smoked the popcorn bud, and it's very promissing, we liked it.

What a fun run this was ! These Ogreberrys finished up from 81 days to 102 days with nice hints of gassy , sour purple , sweetness and glistening with frost! These ladies will cure up for a month an will be ready to test out ! So much fun , I highly recommend this strain if your looking for some oooy gooohy resiny grape smelling nugs !

Getting ready for flowering! On day 45 I placed a metal grid (90x90cm) on the bottom of the pot and a same one on the top as a scrog grid. Then I did a huge defoliation removing as much as I could under the net, exposing many small colas that were covered by upper leaves. On day 46 I didn’t switch off the lights in the night, so the princess has been awake for more than a day. I switched off the lights in the morning. After about 30 hours of darkness, on day 47 I switched lights back on and set up the timer for the switch to 12/12. In this first week I’m waiting for the plant to empty the reservoir, then 2 days of flush, and will start kicking bloom nutes (with fungi, bacteria and sugars) at half dosage next week.
